what were you thinking at the begining

What were you thinking at the beginning of chain of memories or re chain of memories, well the first time you played the CoM game. What were you thinking when all of the Namine' talks with the old friend on the island and him missing her so much. What was going through your mind when you already knew that he didn't know who she was in KH II and everything like that. Also if you remembered at the beginning of Sora's awakening Jiminiy had "Thank Namine" in his journal people did understand what it ment so what was your opinion on all of that and what were you thinking when it was happening in the game?

Well actually, I didn't have a PS2 when Kingdom Hearts came out, so CoM was my first KH game on GBA...

So, just like Sora- I had no idea what was going on! Lol, I loved the game so much I bought a PS2 and KH1 and beat it in like two weeks.. So like Sora I regained my memories of the past events. Then, of coarse I got KH2 and was set up perfectly for it.

I think this is the best way to play through the series.

It's weird. I played CoM before KH2, but it's not until I played Re:CoM that I could properly appreciate what they pulled off. I guess knowing what was coming helped me apperciate how they built it all, much like my appreciation for the Disney worlds once I know SoNami's story and saw how it was all foreshadowed from as early on as Traverse Town. Namely - for the entire game. Har.

They really had no idea it was fake. They really had no idea what was coming. And when it finally hit, Sora cared so little it almost made the entire thing pointless.
Ok, so it was fake. Be there when I wake up and we'll fix that, mmkay babeh? ;D mmkay.
That's about how it went.

I was frustrated in KH2, until I found out about that awesome FM+ scene in which

Sora talked to Riku about how he never got to thank Namine, and how he knew it wouldn't be so easy to pull off until they set everything right. And then Riku told him they'll set it all right again and Sora could see Namine whenever he'd want

I played the original COM before I played KHII, but I didn't finish it before I started KHII( I tried my best D: ). When I started KHII, I didn't get why the note said "Thank Namine" but after finishing COM it made sence so I felt like I knew the story better than before.

Hmm... probably what was going through my mind was 'EEEH, I gots it finally, must play!'

I'd really wanted it. Well, at least Re: CoM. I played KH2, and then I found about the original GBA version of CoM, so I went online and found it. Bought it at that very time. And then, I started to play it, and I didn't really understand anything, because at that time, I hadn't spoiled myself on CoM and what it was about, so I was properly confused about seeing Naminé.

Then, I put it down after getting through the second level, and didn't pick it up again until about seven months later. By that time, I had completely spoiled myself on everything CoM related, because I was writing a story that would eventually deal with CoM.

So, I picked it up again and I started to play and it made so much more sense. Everything in KH2 just made more sense. I got to the last Marluxia fight (still haven't beaten it) and then I decided to replay KH2, just to get the full effect of everything.

Now that I've almost finished Re: CoM, everything has just become so much clearer, and I understand so much more. I will most likely play the games again in order, just to fully get everything.

But what was running through my mind was bascially excitement over having it and getting to play.

When CoM first came out, my older sister had it, but I'd peek at it a couple of times while she was playing to see what was in it. I had just gotten KH1 for the first time, so I didn't want to peek too much but I got a little bit out about a blond haired girl and her name being Namine. Then years later, I spoiled myself over CoM and then KH2 came out so I basically understood everything else by then.

When I first played Re:CoM, one of the first things that came out of my mouth was "Dang Sora, puberty hit you pretty good!" haha.

On The GBA KH, I thought it'll be epic, and it was till I couldnt beat Riku 3 or 4, and my friend Erased my file. so i was like screw this. and stopped playing it and never liked CoM again lol.

But Then When I got Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ I beat FM first. Then I was like Hey I got ReCoM, Might as well play it. and I atually got really into it. and it felt like fitting for me, like I got use to the controlls fast, and i understood the card play more better.

Then When the NA Version came out. I was Excited again, so i can find out the WHOLE story in a language I can actually understand. and Same as the Japanese, I understood the card play more better

I didnt like the GBA one so much IMO.
Japanese ReCoM I liked ALOT.
ReCoM English I like alot as well.

cool me too I was like "cool...." then "wtf goofy and donald?" I felt like I was sora not knowing whats happening back then.
