Could it be the word "Bastardly"? ._.

That's exactly what happened, and it's not my first time either.
I hate to be a pain, but I think what Ordeith said explains it, and because I don't know the trigger word, I can't edit the message to get it to cooperate. I'm really sorry about this. Is there another way I can contact you? Alternatively, I could leave my application in this thread.
You could post it here, if that's alright. ^^;

Desired Position(s) of Mentor: Cunning Linguist (Custom titles allowed? If so, Grammar Nazi) and Arena Master
Example of Work:
Auburn curls tumble in tresses that reach beyond her shoulder blades, covering her eye in a sweeping fringe to her right, barely touching her cheek. Beneath its shadow are umber eyebrows, thin, pushed upward by a hint of a curve. They line the upper border of recesses cradling sultry hazel eyes, rimmed deep emerald with champagne streaked irises, accentuated by impenetrable mascara and smoky eyeshadow, and meet marble cheekbones, sculpted high with carved shadows under, that fall to an angular jaw. Olive skin conforms to the rises and ridges of her heart-shaped face, broken only by the parting of crimson lips, full and luscious.
She stands, unaided, a regal 5’ 8”, her voluptuous curves the bane of even the best of men. A dark leather corset, sides laced and ornamented with satin embroidery, wraps her bust, leaving the lightly muscled contours of her midriff exposed; save for the cover of a thin, matching belt studded with metal. Laced leather sleeves that lie under the round heads of her deltoids protect her arms. Black shorts, ending their shelter at her upper thigh, hug the curve of her derrière, bridged by a band of flesh before meeting the form-fitting hide of knee-high boots whose ebony converges to pointed stiletto heels; innumerable iron buckles embellish the leather.Sample Battle
Why you should be a Mentor:
I have four years of experience with creative writing, and much of the skills, particularly in linguistics, are directly transferable to RPing. In ninth grade my work was the only from my grade featured in the school's literary magazine; I was selected to attend a creative writing course outside of school for a week after that; and most recently I scored among the highest 4% in the world for English in my IB exam last May.
How you would Teach
First, I will allow the tutee to make a sample post for me to gauge their aptitude, then make general recommendations for improvement from that. If the grammar is rife with error, then I will rework the post with corrections, and explain what the changes I made were and why I made them. If error-free but lacking in flair, I will give general and specific pointers on how to diversify diction and syntax to make the read more interesting.
Thank you for considering my application.
I want to apply for a mentor, I'll be happy with anyone. I would like to improve on my character creations, learn about all that is needed to make a good RP.
Thank you. :3
At times, I may be temporarily unavailable due to my real life workload, but if you wouldn't mind it, I'd nevertheless be glad to lend a hand.
Okay the Mentor list is updated after much difficulty due to the damn scroll bar going insane ;-;
Hee. The KHI Sentience found you too.
I would like Genre Meister - Epic/High Fantasy addered to my slot thingy.
So, so, I get to teach and request mentor-ship now?
I don't believe I've been on form as a role-player in a fair number of years - if ever I was. As far as I can tell, the root cause seems a fairly natural problem amongst many aspiring writers - a stubborn belief that nothing I write is ever worth the effort of reading, which leads to the problem of not wanting to write and ends in either my prompt departure from any given RPing forum or a drag-and-drop to the Recycle Bin, if I'm writing something purely for the fun of it.
As such, I would like to undergo the tutelage of one of your mentors for the sake of improving my writing to a point where - at the very least - I can be satisfied with it. Whichever or any that would consider themselves free enough to be harassed by a 22-year-old angsting over his work would be fine with me, as I reckon I could use some help in all areas - in particular, however, I would like to request the help of LongLiveLife, as I found the descriptive text in his registry post for this topic quite impressive.
Heh... if I have my way, I'll make every damn one of you regret signing up as mentors, even if it kills me.
Heh, I exaggerate. XD
All I mean is I will never accept the words 'it's fine as it is' as a response to anything I put to pen (metaphorically speaking, of course. I won't send you letters; that would be creepy, irritating and... well, creepy. I'm also still having finding any of your listed addresses, but that's not really the main issue here... >.>). Any and all writing can be improved upon - all it requires is the time, effort, experience and guidance in the right direction. I have enough of the first two for the time being, a fair bit of the third (although one can never have enough, of course), and now I'm looking for the fourth.
I'll try not to test the limits of anyone's patience and I'm willing to wait for answers, but whomever may decide to mentor me should expect to be bombarded with an ungodly number of questions before we're through. I prefer to be thorough.
I would like to request the help of LongLiveLife
