Arcade is a tall, smooth looking cat around the outer age of 26. The fellow's skin is brown, and his messy locks fall just past his ear. A finely kept chin strap style beard outlines his face. Mr. Gambit's eyes are a chilling glass grey, as a result of the odd magic running through his veins they have an otherworldly glow to them. He stands approximately at 6'2" and keeps a pair of black bead earrings in his earlobes An organic left arm has long been vacant of the man's person, instead he now has an arm made of steel in its place.
When it comes to clothing, Arcade always dresses in something that reflects his position as an Infamous Criminal whether it be a fresh suit, or a long sleeved button-down and vest. However, he NEVER wears bright colors other than white. His wardrobe consists of the grey and black variety. He owns literally a dozen pairs of the same white, pointed toe gators--the shoe of the classic mobster.
He ties all of this together with a certain confident and smooth, yet powerful swagger.
Gender: He's even manlier than Chuck Norris.
Birthplace: A city near Gagazet called Tartarus. [The hand of time has long since erased this place]
Alignment: Too Bad to be Good.
Personality:
Mr. Arcade Gambit comes off as little more than your typical silver tongued devil at first meeting. But it is almost guaranteed that after that initial moment, you'll never forget this man. Everything about Arcade from the way he dresses, to the way he moves and talks exude an sort of otherworldly charm. He almost never says the wrong thing, and knows exactly how to get what he wants from you. Arcade is an excellent reader of people, making it incredibly hard for him to be deceived.
Never impulsive or short fused, Arcade is still not one to be challenged. He holds an extremely high opinion for himself [like the narcissistic prick he is] and to challenge his image is well...grounds for death. Arcade is ruthless, he holds virtually no regard for human life. He doesn't care who he has to kill to reach his goal, if you're in his way, you're going down, it is simple as that.
He's got a thirst for the unknown, and loves a good mystery. Granted, he gets impatient quickly, so that mystery is quickly blown wide open by a quick zap from Ophelia. Once he develops an interest in something Arcade won't stop until that interest is sated--which could be a number of things.
Arcade likes to party. He's a talented dancer, and a bonafide social lite. Wine, and beautiful people are what makes up his ideal scene. As a great contrast, Arcade is very well read, and an impressive scholar. This resulting from centuries of gained knowledge.
Finally, Arcade is a junkie. Due to his body being immune to all types of sickness, the man has developed a love for a number of vices ranging from alcohol to cigarettes to numerous other lesser known toxins. The only time he shows any signs of addictions is when his emotions go haywire, which rarely happens.
Weapons/Armour:
-One bionic left arm, used not only for guarding and striking, but to minimize recoil from Ophelia. [A hidden spike can slide out from the forearm of the limb]
-One standard deck of playing cards, the images depicting those in his life.
-One pack of 'Triple 7s' cigarettes and an engraved silver lighter. (Not a weapon, but it certainly augments his abilities)
-One pair of loaded black die
[Bombs Away!]
_The two die are a joint effort specially crafted by two contacts of Arcade's. Made out of the perfect combination of magic and tech, these die are regenerating grenades with a blast radius of a small office. The moment the die are exploded, they begin to rebuild themselves, returning to Arcade's hand once they are finished. The cool down between uses is approximately five minutes.
[Ophelia]
+Description
_The baddest, loudest, quickest firing, Laser [Zomg lazer guns!] Tommy Gun in all of Spira. Made of an unknown space age, anti-heat material, Ophelia is impervious to overheating. The gun itself appears platinum, engraved all over with whimsical flowing designs. The gun is a result the most advanced Machina tech the Al Bhed have to offer.
+Features
_Elemental clips - Developed by an old contact of Arcade’s, the elemental clip sub-settings of Tommy Gun Ophelia come in three ‘flavors’ (as he calls them).
+ Cherry – Fire
+ Blue Raspberry – Ice
+ Juicy Fruit – Lightning
Ophelia releases each of these attacks in the form of a shotgun style blast, making them ideal for close combat.
_Ophelia’s ‘Soul’
Upon simply the first glance of Ophelia, one can tell that this firearm is far from ordinary. However, there’s even more than meets the eye of this gun. It appears that as a result of too much contact with Arcade’s erratic body Ophelia ‘herself’ has gained something like a soul. This occurrence has caused Ophelia to become ‘attached’ to her wielder; becoming almost like and extension of Arcade’s body. Advantages Ophelia’s Soul manifest in several manners, but the most apparent one is the way in which Arcade can now ‘summon’ Ophelia. This feat mimics the method in which Keybladers call upon their weapons; with a thought, and the flick of the wrist, Ophelia appears in Mr. Gambit's palm, ready to go. It should also be noted that Ophelia will not work for anyone other than Arcade; her handle becomes piping hot and all of her gears lock up.
Magic/Abilities:
[Royal Flush]
+All 54 cards in Arcade's deck have a bit of his 'life force' imprinted onto them. This, besides giving them a fabulous looking white glow, transcribes a certain memory or emotion of Arcade's onto them [reflected by the image that appears on the face of the card]. With the memory or emotion imprinted the card receives a new power, all Arcade has to do to tap into this skill is simply 'crush' the card in his fist [like so]. The memories are either associated with a particular person, or enemy Arcade has come across in his many years of life.
+To successfully imprint a memory of a person, Arcade must forge some kind of bond with them. As for imprinting the memory of an enemy, Arcade must defeat them in battle.
+The abilities can only be used once per battle--with the exception of some.
Royal Flush - List of Abilities
((A record of Arcade's current and future Royal Flush techniques will be kept here, organized by name of the person(s) ))
_Ophelia [Healing] - The Queen of Hearts. This card represents the memory of Arcade Gambit's first love, the beautiful High Summoner Ophelia Drake. When he uses this card, about 50% of the damage done to Arcade's body is recovered.
_The Three Fates[Shield] - The Jack of Hearts. When Arcade murdered the sisters that weaved the thread of his Fate, he subsequently established a link with them, creating this Royal Flush technique. When Arcade crushes this card a large dome shaped bubble surrounds him blocking everything but the strongest attacks for three minutes.
_Lenny[Bang!] - The Ace of Spades. Lenneth Gains was Arcade's best friend and mentor; something like a brother to the man. Before fate ripped Lenny from the pages of Mr. Gambit's life, the two forged an iron bond, leading to the creation of one of the grey eyed mobster's favorite techniques--Bang! A.K.A. the finger gun. Like the name implies, Arcade makes a 'gun' with his thumb and index finger; this causes a mass of his life force to gather at his fingertip. The attack barrels towards the enemy at an extreme speed. Unlike his other Royal Flush techniques, this card is in constant effect, only showing the level of impact Lenny had on Arcade's life.
Overdrive:
[SHOWTIME!]
Arcade snaps his fingers and summons his Airship Styx for one final strike from it's laser firing lower quarters. When the steel beast is summoned, this is the music that plays from its speakers. [Like Literally, this blasts when Arcade calls him]
[I'll throw the description of Styx in this section since I don't have a better spot]
[Styx]
+ Arcade’s means of transportation is his Air Ship Styx---which is much more than meets the eye. The vessel is equipped with two forms: The first, a traditional fighter jet form, complete with multiple cannons and 183 speakers, and the second; a large bipedal ‘mobile suit’. How Arcade came about obtaining this miraculous item is unknown. It's rumored that a certain religious organization, stationed in a certain city that starts with the certain letter B is missing an extremely important weapon from its inconspicuous basement--but that's just a rumor.
+ Base form
Styx, in its base form appears as a sleek fighter craft. Fitted with two plasma cannons in front, and four auto turrets [released when a button in the cockpit is pressed] it can more than hold its own in battle, even without transformation. This form also has a cloaking device, allowing Mr. Gambit to fly through airspace undetected.
Styx Base Form
+ Transformation-
When the big red button in the center of Styx's cockpit is pressed, it's go time. Really, really go time. Styx becomes a bipedal hulking body of steel and destruction equipped with the following:
-Gatling gun fingertips
-Breakneck speeds
-Harpoon-esque laser firing crotch piece (check the pic)

Biography:
[Arcade's back story is integral to his character development, which means a lot of his past will be kept under wraps, to be revealed in-game.]
Bloodlines [Dear Young Gambit]
Born as the youngest out of three to Theodore and Daisy Gambit, a young Arcade was almost destined for a life full of bloodshed and violence. Why? Because the Gambits were the Top Family in the city called Tartarus; a dog eat dog place where power is everything. Families battled for supremacy, being ranked from 100 to 1 in power. Should the head of a Family be assassinated, the assailant's Family takes that Family's spot the ranks. The Gambit's being Number 1 meant that, not only were they royalty on Tartarus, but they were also Public Enemy Number One.
Arcade Gambit's life was officially thrown into chaos on his 13th birthday. That night the Gambit Château was attacked by a coalition of the remaining Top Five Families. His family slain, and his home burned, Arcade barely escaped with his life, through the Family's emergency exit. His family exterminated, his inheritance reduced to all of nothing, a young Arcade was left to roam the streets as an urchin in search of food and shelter.
What the boy found was nothing but starvation and frost bite. The Winter in Tartarus was harsh, and the denizens even harsher. It wasn't until a week after Arcade set out on his own that he made his first 'profit'. Desperate, Young Gambit snatched a fancy looking, suited man's wallet. His getaway lasted all of thirty seconds before the man, in a rather impressive manner, stopped him in his tracks.
The man was Lenneth Gains, heir of the Gains Family. The Gains Family was a group completely separate from the 'Ladder' dynamic of Tartarus. They were an arms dealer Family, all they had to worry about was their sales. Lenneth, instead of killing the boy with the extremely conspicuous revolver on his hip, praised him for his initiative.Long story short, Lenneth took the young Arcade in. Lenneth knew the boy was a Gambit, he also knew that all of the Gambits were supposed to be dead. The two agreed to keep the boy's true identity as the heir of a dead Family under wraps.
Days turned to months, and months turned to years. Five years in fact. Five peaceful years was all Mr. Gambit had before his life was yet again shattered.

Finding Forever
With his thread of Fate burned, and the ones who wove his thread lying six feet under, Ol' Arcade Gambit set off on a new journey, with the blessing of immortality now his. The goal being to finally live on his own terms, unbound by forces such as age or destiny. He wanted to obtain all of the riches the world had to offer, uncover all of the secrets it had to hide, and monopolize or neutralize all of the power that dwelled upon it. All of Spira was his playground.
Fast Forward a hot 110 years, and Arcade's doing pretty damn good for himself. He's known worldwide as Infinity for his numerous nefarious deeds, however his face is unknown always hidden by a smiling white mask when seen at the crime scene. He has several safe houses across the land, upkeep being provided by the most trusted maids and butlers known to Spira. His most recent project entails the fabled Spheres of Legend hidden across the world. These Spheres call out to each other when they are near, and the legend has it that when all of the Spheres are gathered together in the center of the Zanarkand Temple 'Something Special Will Happen'. As vague as it is, Arcade's interest was piqued when he came across the first sphere and a book detailing the history of said Sphere in one of his many safe houses. It was just the thing he needed to add a bit of spice to his life--he was getting bored of the sweet, albeit uneventful [by Arcade terms] life.
When word of High Summoner Yuna's death and more importantly, the return of Sin, hit Arcade was yet again deeply interested. It looked like someone was shuffling the deck up just right.
