In October 2012, Shiro Amano finished the KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days manga and returned to work on KINGDOM HEARTS II after putting it on hiatus in 2009. Fans have awaited the sixth volume's release after being put on hold again for over half a year, but finally it will be released May 22nd 2013! Below is the cover of KINGDOM HEARTS II Volume 6!
In order to search for an important friend, Sora, Donald, and Goofy set on a big adventure traveling through Disney Worlds.
This time the upcoming scene is in the computer!?

Tron <3 I love Tron and I love that he's finally made it to this point. We are getting so close to the end (Shiro Amano has rearranged events and he's mixing first and second visits of Disney worlds in together in a more concise and fun plot <3) I can taste the Riku from here! (and then maybe we'll finally get a BBS manga and KH3D manga and lol I wouldn't care if he skipped over coded but he could do a one-shot manga or something)
One step closer to that BBS manga~
Also really excited to see what the poster will be inside this volume. I wonder if he'll pick a specific event or just do something fun?
SO excited this is resuming! Since four other games were released since KHII, I wonder if he'll litter the series with references to them, Days specifically since he put this on hiatus for that. I want all the entire series done in SA art, I don't care how long it takes~
Also, Shiro, please draw Tron dancing. It would be the cutest. 8}
Now THAT is a nice cover to return too ^_^ Not a huge fan of the checkerboard at the bottom, and I think Ansem SoD didn't need to be there but could be replaced by someone else, but I do like it :)
Finally a world that isn't revisited so much lol. I kid I kid. Yes we'll finally see Sora and gang with Tron outfits. *u*

Well Amano has switched some events around so things are moving pretty fast, actually. We'll probably see the manga done in a few more volumes.

Amano seems to be depleting the need for second visits. In the first chapter of volume 6 (this was released via Monthly Shounen GanGan), Kairi had already been captured by Saix and Sora was on his way back to Hollow Bastion. They've already visited Land of Dragons, Beast's Castle, Disney Castle/Timeless River, Agrabah and Twilight Town (1).
Which only leaves Port Royal, Halloween Town, Atlantica (if Amano chooses to add it), and Pride Lands before TWTNW.

I think BBS is the most natural decision. A lot of DDD is reliant on the information we learn in BBS so I can't see him choosing to do anything else first.

If he did do BbS, how many volumes do you think he'd do it in? And how would you like him to do it? I'd love if he did 1-2 mangas dedicated to each of the 3, Aqua's story might need 2 considering she has the whole part after the game including the Final and Secret episode.

I'd imagine three at the minimum. Since BBS has a lot going on five as the average and nine as the max. I think I'd want to see everything in chronological order rather than split between the characters. That way it will have more of a sense of flow rather can disjointed events that sometimes meet up. Then again I don't want to be jumping to characters so..idk!
If he did in chronologically, I can see him jumping from character to character each chapter and I think that might get a bit confusing, but I do understand the whole "wanting to see it in chronological order." The best I could think of is each character's story will in the end get their own book(s) but he'll release them in different orders (like Terra 1, Ventus 1, Aqua 1, Terra 2, Ventus 2, Aqua 2, etc.)
How did they do this in the novels? Was it told as T, V, then A by world, worlds being the chapters? As disjointed as it may be, I'd much prefer to just see everything laid out in chronological order. Uniform or no, I just don't want to be confused when I read it. xD

The worlds are the chapters, but they skip from character to character by order of events. If you take Dwarf Woodlands for example, it'll lead off with Ven arriving and meeting the dwarves, to Terra meeting the queen and scaring off Snow White, then back to Ven finding her in the forest, and you get the idea!

Amano has to finish the Xehanort saga. ;__; He can skip Coded, but he must do BBS, DDD and KH3.
I think doing it chronologically would be easiest. The scenarios would be pretty jarring if kept in the manga.

I personally want them to wait to bring this volume over until the next one or two are out to make a third omnibus.

Judging by previous volumes, he averages about 2 worlds in each. With Port Royal, Atlantica, Halloween Town remaining outside of their return to Twilight Town and finally The World that Never Was (assuming he's going to include Pride Lands in volume 6 since it's featured on this month's wallpaper), then 3 more volumes sounds about right.
It's possible to finish before the end of the year. C'mon, Amano!
I want to believe that he's working very hard to finally reach all the new content BBS brings so he can finally leave all the black coats behind for a few years xD

I think IF he did make Coded, it would definitely be 1 small volume but I can honestly see him just skipping it all together. Would I want him too? No, I'd like for there to be manga and novels for every game...in many different languages

I'm sure they expect fairly reasonable and not-crazy obsessed individuals who aren't going to kill their eyes to read a poem we've seen since 2005. The actual book is less than half the size of that cover image; keep that in mind.

This is the volume where SDG learn that Ansem SoD isn't the real Ansem. Like it was back in the day, it's a pretty big deal.

Yeah, it's very 2005 and really not that shocking anymore. It's like a total blast from the past!
So, Volume 6 is totes adorable and I hope Yen Press will squeeze it into their schedule so English speakers can read it <3
