Ha, it's beginning to dawn on me that the citizens of the UK literally underestimated the power of democracy.

Not only that, but looking at the losses, there won't be much left of those 350 mil.
And as the icing on the cake, many people who voted leave are backpeddling on their vote, thinking their vote wasn't gonna make a difference. Well fuck, who would've thought something like that could make a difference. It's not like the UK economy hinges on this referendum.
It isn't just that, there never truly was a £ 350 mil. People have been goddamn duped by a half-truth at best

Once you tell people they're spending money, everyone always stops thinking. It's the easiest way to get people in line.
Not to mention the trouble of their NHS is because their government themselves cut the funding last year by 20%, nothing EU related.

Welp, at this point they can't really back up on their words even if they wanted to, can they? I just hope things turn for the best for everyone. Hopefully this won't lead to like european economic armageddon or something.
Not necessarily. The referendum is only there to get the public's opinion on the situation. The UK is still part of the EU and will only exit the EU two years after they invoke article 50. Meaning, from what I understand, the results of the referendum aren't legally binding.
So either the EU and UK come to an agreement, by some miracle, and/or do another voting (the difference is so small that maybe that's possible) or they do decide to exit the EU. Problem is that some politicians in the EU parliament are already trying to get the UK to invoke article 50 quicker, so they can leave the union faster.
Either way, it's gonna be a complete shitfest over the next couple of months and England, no matter what, will have lost a shitton of money.
Well, yes, I know about the 2 year negotiation, but can they go back on their decision? Like, can they decide to stay on EU after it begins?

It seems Scotland might want have another vote on whether to leave the UK or not. I guess if they do decide to leave, they could stay in the EU?
I don't think there's a way back once things are set in motion. So if they want a new voting or work something out with the EU, they need to do it asap. Again, some politicians (wrongfully so, imo) are already going out of their way to try and force the UK to invoke article 50 sooner than planned. Not quite sure about the legality behind all that, since invoking article 50 isn't something the EU can force I think, but needless to say: there's not much time left.
As a resident to the UK I really was not at all shocked when we ended up leaving. Personally, I hoped that we would stay in the EU but I could see in the area that I live generally people were voting to leave. Now that we have voted to leave and the reasons for leaving have become more apparent to me, I'm starting to see why people wanted to leave. I still don't know if all of the arguments for leaving I fully agree with but I guess that could change. I am really hoping that this means a good future for the UK but I honestly don't know if it will.
The unfortunate backlash is that, a lot of people are normalising racism. Worrying Signs is a group created to record racial harassment. It's disgustingly high right now, I genuinely fear for my life as an ethnic minority.
