Re: Toy Story 4?

Disney bought Pixar, Disney's gonna go all Capitalist on their work.

That was 5 years ago bruh. And they haven't yet, so I think no.

Re: Toy Story 4?

I'm conflicted to be honest. Part of me wants it but another part of me is like, "No please don't make the 4th movie. The 3rd movie was perfect..." although I felt some things were missing but whatever. I think Tom Hanks sounded like he was somewhat unsure of the answer too but it's not to say it's no. I'd take this news with a grain of salt.

Re: Toy Story 3

I'm pretty much excited for this short considering how much I love Toy Story. This short looks cute, colorful, and neat and the fact that it might be more Rex-centric is nice since I love Rex. :3

Anyone notice the toilet seat covering looks like Sully's fur from Monster's Inc.?

Pixar Shorts: Toy Story... Of Terror

toy-story-terror-2013sp.jpg

What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story of Terror.

Out on DVD October 2013 I believe.

Thoughts?

P.S. sorry if there was a thread already, I had a look but couldn't see one.

Re: Toy Story... Of Terror

I like most of the Toy Story shorts, so hopefully this keeps the same quality as the others.

edit: Oh it's a short movie. Kinda excited to see what they do.

Re: Toy Story... Of Terror

As long as it aims to be charming and fun and intelligent and great then awesome. I have faith in Pixar, I hope they don't try to conjure up any unnecessary emotional aspect to the story. That would just seem...wrong, to me. I'm definitely interested to see the Gang's status with Bonnie and her toys, though.

Re: Toy Story... Of Terror

I assumed their status was shown in the short films they had.

For a few seconds, I thought this was going to be a legitimate horror movie

Re: Toy Story... Of Terror

For a moment, I thought of Toys in the Attic. new, foriegn, stop motion/live action, and very creepy looking even if it's not meant to be.

But yeah, this could go in a general Toy Story Toons thread, cuz those have been made for a couple years.

I'm...apprehensive over this. I'm definitely excited to see it. I know I'll watch it when it airs. I just wish they'd stick to the shorts they have been making. I know they want to tell bigger stories but I like the cute short things they have.

This thread is fine. The old TS thread is barely active. The last time I think I bumped it and it was after it had been dead for a year. And I think it had been the second one made.

Re: Toy Story Franchise

I thought that the short was excellent. While I would have loved for it to be longer, they did well with the time limit they had. It was great to see Jesse face her fears about enclosed spaces.

Can't wait for the next short since this one was wonderful.
