They made Aqua's boobs "jiggle" in BBS......
But that was because Aqua's breasts are still "visible" despite her wearing clothes. In other words you see that she has breasts even if you can't
see anything.
Giving Sora's FMV model a penis just seems odd. And then animating said penis would be even stranger. Mainly because they'd have to separate the penis from the rest of his body to apply some type of softbody effect to it, and then try to keep it perfectly in place while Sora was moving.
I can understand modeling something between Sora's legs if only to know if the crotch of his pants is in the right place. Though animating it doesn't make any sense since it would take too much work.
Applying physics to Aqua's breats is easy, because Aqua is animated in the game engine. They don't need to separate her model into different parts to apply physics to certain parts of her body.
In short,
Sora is actually a girl because he has no penis.
At the very least and just after the events of DDD, Sora is fifteen and 157 days old. He has 208 days to go until he's sixteen.
At the very most and just after the events of DDD, Sora is sixteen and 40 days old. He's already sixteen.
So it
was the timeline that gave people the idea that Sora was sixteen/close to sixteen.
Maybe the Dream Drop Distance manual will say what Sora's age is in the character section. Though I forget if games still do that. I didn't see it in re:Coded, and my BBS copy didn't come with a manual.
I sometimes think that. It's not only Sora, but also Riku and Kairi have their KH1 models used most of the time too. He just seems to overall be more satisfied with SRK's younger versions rather than their older ones.
I think Nomura is just ashamed of KH2 in general. He seems to regret aging up Sora, or even introducing the concept of time passng in the KH universe.
Normally in western animation, time seems to constantly be on hold with characters staying the same age for years.
The fact that Max, Goofy's son, grew up for the movie was kind of surprising. Same when I saw an old Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond.
I kind of figured that Kingdom Hearts would be the same, and the story would have only taken a few days to resolve itself and the time between adventures might be a week at most.
Instead time seems to be moving at a rate that makes it seem like Sora will be a full grown man by the time KH3 ends.
I'll always prefer the way they look in KH1, but that's just because I haven't been given enough time to get use to their KH2 versions.
