Used my saved up Jewels on the pull and got seriously lucky, snagging an SP Roxas alongside a second Marluxia and a Xaldin medal. The others weren't bad, mainly guilting fodder, but those were the highlights.

I managed to clear all the way past the Lv160 stage in the new event, a few had major close calls. Not even gonna try the 180, the last 180 Invisible I tried to fight mopped the floor with me. At least the Judy and Nick medal will be useful, since I never got Vivi it fills that role on Starlight, and is an extra buffer on Three Wishes.

I got a little over 290k for the scoring event on my second run. First run I ran right into the Lv200 Morning Star thinking he'd be Lv100 like the other heartless in the room. One guess how that turned out. Did better on the second run, beating everything except the Lv180 and Lv200 Morning Star. SP Roxas is a beast. Hopefully we get the Mickey and Brooms soon, between Marluxia and SP Roxas I've got big guns I want to guilt. I'll get you yet, Cerberus...

Once I saw Roxas and Xion were being added, I was sooo excited. I managed to get neither, though... After two tries, too. =( I did get Axel, which apparently is a pretty good medal. I really wanted Roxas and Xion. But I'm not going to spend a fortune for a video game.

Axel is like KH1 Cloud, right? Except low cost and T3

I'm not sure if I should make a pull or wait. I've got enough for just one pull and my medals are slowly getting weaker. These Nick&Judies will help a bit, but they're not exactly a good solution

I got past the 160 Mission as well, but am unable to 1-turn everything. And I'm very unable to get to the target in 180. Those Soldiers man... 3x Defense Boost isn't doing squat.

Got around 224K in score first try. Not sure if I'm gonna bother doing it again. I don't have anything to boost my multiplier right now and I'm unable to take down the Morning Stars with this multiplier setup.

With the way my luck had been going, I really wasn't expecting much from this draw... and then it gave me a Sephiroth for the epic medal.
This is a very good deal, with a guaranteed epic AND Org XIII medal. I might even pay up to do it again.

Same. That last quest, it's becoming a huge pain to defeat the invisible in 1 turn. Even most of my strongest strength medals aren't doing the damage its supposed to. I've even got 1 point hits and I'm confused as hell why.

Sucks how I had a pretty good amount of jewels (nothing to brag about), then wasted them for more room for medals and AP and continues. I'd keep getting jewels, then I keep spending jewels. And I'm broke so I can't get that deal of 3,000 jewels. This sucks. =_=

I did all the Zootopia quests, and got five out of the seven Nick and Judy medals that I need for Guiltiing. Does anyone have any advice on which quest out of those fifteen I can now spam to get two more medals, or will that even work?

i don't think it works like that. you need to complete their objectives to get them.

I'm able to one turn the High Wizard and Invisible in quests 14 and 15 of the Zootopia quest, I'm pretty happy about that... I just can't complete without continuing. That won't matter because those objectives give a lot of what I already have, Exp and Boost medals XP

There is no drop chance for those medals, they can only be gained by completing those objectives.

Ugh. That most difficult Wizard is so evil. I keep getting so close to one-turning it, but no dice. And I don't even want to think about the Neoshadow objective.

Not to throw Square Enix under the bus, but isn't anyone noticing that the quests in KHUx NA are getting progressively more difficult and require more powerful medals? It's slowly becoming a micro-transaction game (I mean, it already started like that but at this point it is HIGHLY emphasized), and I don't want to pay money for medals (even though Square Enix makes Kingdom Hearts great they deserve money).

I expect the game to get more difficult and require better medals. That is not the problem. The problem from months ago hasn't changed. Jewels are hard to obtain which forces people to either pay for them, or never spend any jewels ever in hopes to save up enough. I haven't bought an actual jewel pack since... since they were doing the Sephiroth draws. I am SO concerned that I won't have enough for the BbS medals that I literally have barely spent any of the jewels I've earned from logging in and whatnot.

The jewel challenges are still not permanent. The daily log in bonus barely gives you enough to draw 3 jewels a week.

More and more people are leaving the game because... is it really worth it? I don't mind because I can get higher in the ranks now and I don't plan to spend another dime on this game. It's just a shame that I've seen people save up and buy tons of jewels for some of the newest missions/epic carnivals and have gotten nothing. (people are even campaigning that they just switch back to JP because the NA is just that bad in comparison)

I haven't spent a dime on this game unless you count Google Rewards. I'm hoping my luck changes though, since I'm mostly in for the story.

Can anyone please fill me in on what the target boss is for the 16th Zootopia quest? I'm waiting until the story update to get Jewels and draw from the Epic Medal Carnival before it ends. I'm also saving the leftover Jewels for using it on continuing the Zootopia quests after one turning the Invisible and High Wizard.

Agreed! I think, though, that Square Enix is supplementing those who won't pay money with Medal Events to give everyone a chance... I mean, I wouldn't be where I am right now without my 3D Riku, max medal plus max guilt and AB2. But even the event medals themselves might not be enough

The 16th Mission is two incredibly strong Morning Stars. No one can really power their way through it, it requires an extremely defensive strategy and medals with the skills Poison, Paralysis, Sleep, Defense Boost etc and a medal that can cure (Daisy, Minnie, etc.)

The outrageous amounts of money you have to spend to guilt great medals in this game is...well, pardon the lack of word diversity, but outrageous.

I'm spending some money (although I pretty much got this iTunes gift card for free, since I bought it with gift cards I got from specials on a purchasing multiples of drinks), but only because I want Roxas and Xion. I will not spend anymore money on this game. Even so I find it absolutely ridiculous that when I'm spending that much money I can't even choose to get those medals, even though the special is all about them.

Those people who guilt those top tier medals must be spending absolutely absurd amounts of money on this game. I can't do that. I think it's worth some money, because it is a game that was developed, and it has kept me from being bored for so many work breaks, but I can't even begin to justify what some people must be spending.

I'm not sure if it is even worth it to guilt medals or not... Is it an ability one needs to really pass the missions later on? I'm currently level 111 and mission 209 and struggling to defeat some heartless... I've got a few 6 star medals... but to Guilt them I'd have to hope I get the same ones in a haul and then level those ones up as well... It's a lot of work...

Fully guilting any premium or epic medal is impossible unless you are wealthy and spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Heck, even guilting with one or two dots is near impossible on the premium medals. And yes, it will be near impossible to finish the higher story quests with F2P medals, unless they are all fully, completely guilted with all 5 dots and the 6th one as well. Good luck. This game is for those who are independently wealthy or live at home and don't have to support themselves. LOL.

There are many people on these forums who are F2P and have finished all the story missions. There are F2P players of the JPN version here that are still caught up on the story missions.

But yeah, obviously you should work to guilt the F2P medals, why is that treated like a ridiculous thing lol? The truth is that guilted F2P medals are generally stronger than any non-guilted non-F2P medals with only some exceptions. And it's free to guilt them so I don't know why you wouldn't.

Oh, okay! Thank you, and yeah, that defensive strategy and skills you were talking about helped me defeat the level 200 Invisible in the first High Score event... It's tedious, but possible.

Yes, I've also seen people spend LOTS of money just to get medals. It just makes me laugh tbh

I know some people who are actually collecting the medals to collect them. For example, a friend is a big Disney fan, and he wants to collect all the Disney medals. He isn't going to use all of them, since some aren't that game useful, but he wants to collect the Disney characters. So there are layers to KHUx for all to enjoy.

Yep! However, if you're really invested into actually being good at KHUx, at one point or another you'd have to spend money. I can understand the frustration of those who want powerful medals but have to pay to get it. I haven't spent money on KHUx yet and I'm frustrated as to how these quests are becoming progressively difficult, but I love Kingdom Hearts and Square Enix that I'm patient and continue to play the game despite these circumstances.

Finally. I've been able to defeat the Invisible in one turn with a 50% guilted KH Cloud medal (shout out to HardLuck, you're the real MVP). I still had to up Guilt percentages for two of my other medals and in this is as frustrating as ever.

I really don't get how some people have like a score of 1,500,000+ for the high score challenge.

Like I am just missing some trick to getting a higher score because that is ridiculous

Welp, I finally broke down and spent some hard-earned jewels on the 600 pack~ These latest medals were just tempting because of the characters, but of coarse I didn't get any of them.

As a F2P keyblade master this of coarse means I've opened Pandora's box and must now embark on my quest to fill out my album completion. But I've almost guilted all of my farmables, so it was bound to happen soon enough. I just hope that if I stop being F2P it's purely from difficulty spikes and not greed for all the "pokemanz". I'm sure all the story missions are doable with the farmables (it's what I've done up through 400 so far), but I want to be more competitive in the side-missions / Coliseum.

Doesn't this have to do with the specific medals influencing the score's percentage boost? Also, maybe Lux farming skills are responsible for this too? (ok, idk)

It can't be just that. Even a deck that is just the 21%+ premium medals would, in general, give you an average score of like 750,000, but everyone in the top 10 has 1,000,000 on top of that. I just don't get it lol

I just managed to beat the Invisible just now. These are medals that I used and what stats they are, though I don't know if it's important or not. I'm not a very good strategist, but I do try my best. My plan was to try and do as much damage to the Invisible as I can.


Megara 5 star (Defense Sap +4 from enemy) [Attack Boost 1 skill]
Nick Wilde 6 star (Strength Boost +5) [Attack Boost 1 skill]
Diz 6 star (Strength Boost +5) [Guilted, Attack Boost All 1 skill]
Zack 6 star [Guilted, +870 strength]
Hercules 6 star [Guilted, +950 strength, Attack Boost 1 skill]


Friend Medal I used: KH II Black Coat Riku [+985 strength, 3 orbs, Attack Boost 1 skill]
It was the strongest Power friend medal on the list at the time.


This strategy only got me pass the Invisible with 1 turn, but I wasn't able to survive the rest of the quest without reviving myself. But since I only wanted to get the Nick and Judy medal, so I went with opening chests to get the Gauge points and try to go around the first Neo Shadow group by moving as low as possible to get to the Target Neo Shadow. I had to suck up and used 100 jewels to revive myself because I died once in the last battle, but I was able to defeat it afterwards and got my Nick and Judy objective. Now I'm gonna attempt to finish off the other objectives before the last day.

I'm really starting to hate these battles that's getting ridiculously stronger and require to buy stronger and newer medals to have a better chance of beating them. Most of my strongest medals I often used are no longer able to achieve some of these objectives. I'm still holding onto this game because I just want to see this story through.

same here. the rewards are tempting but what good is it if you have no budget for jewels to get premium medals to need to get said rewards.

Placed 9th last high score challenge. You are able to reach the 1M+ side, just not easy is all. Yes, it does require bonus medals but more specifically, it requires a full equipment set of them. So you need 180 Cost just to be able to have this entire full set. I'm currently Lv 196 and only have 178 so it's annoyingly tedious. You get more points per kill if you get the maximum amount of hits per medal while not killing each enemy until the last medal has been used. This means you need each bonus medal to activate upon hit while being able to kill with the final hit. I personally lucksacked my way into 9th place via the Paralysis skill. I quite literally pinged my way into killing each Invisible and considering my Lv 6 KH1 Cloud with +1000/+1000 was only able to deal 1HP per hit on what I remember being the Lv 250 one, it takes quite some time and an extreme amount of luck. So is it possible to get to 1M? Completely. Does it require money to be consistent? Of course.

So what you're saying is score farming works a lot like Lux farming: Using medals with many multiple hits that do little damage and still defeat the enemy in one turn at the end?

Lux farming is slightly different because the possibility of killing your raid boss at higher levels turn 1 is near impossible nor does it even provide an additional reward. Unless you mean missions which in that case then yes, you are correct.
