I'm not overly convinced that there'll be too much KH info. FFXV is much closer to being released, so I feel the exciting news will be a release date for that, maybe some collector's edition info, or something.

all i want is more kh3 info or news plus the phone app for kingdom hearts to wet my appite until d23 in japan stuff also can we finally get a release date for final fantasy xv so the team can go to the other team and focus on kingdom hearts 3

Kingdom Hearts III news would be really awesome. Being optimistic I think we might get a short teaser(gameplay or story, I will take anything), and then an interview from Nomura, the same way like in E3 2013. I really hope they would show something big, but I have a feeling that they will save it for the D23 event. How knows, maybe Square ends up surprising us?

This is definitely the place to do it. Also, don't even convince yourselves that KH3 won't show at E3 (Be it there conference or Sony/Microsoft), because it 100% will without question or doubt. Even if they just flash the logo for a few seconds lol Square even commented on how they could now focus on another big title since XV has finally been announced and the demo is out.


I really want TWEWY2 and for a proper Sleeping Dogs sequel to be announced. I thought there was one in the works all this time but the game labeled Triad Wars (Which takes place in the same universe and engine) is in no way a sequel, and is online only :/

This is exciting. Should be a much more SE info heavy E3 this year. They could be announcing/showing off anything though. My prediction is a large focus on FFXV, with some sort of season + year confirmation on a release date like Fall 2016 or whatever but no actual exact date. KH should appear in some way, either more KH3 news or some news on that mobile game or a localization of Chi or 1.5/2.5 on PS4/XB1. Maybe some Bravely Second news (tho that might be in Nintendo's event instead).

Now, just because I want a lot even tho I have no faith, here's my wishlist:
-FFXV announced for a late 2015 or early 2016 release. Exact release date.
-KH3 given a release window, Winter 2016. First long trailer shown that announces a Disney world and some of the original story. A good minute or two of gameplay is seen, showing off the visuals and new abilities and combat.
-FFXV and KH3 are both promised to release on PC, even if not alongside their console versions.
-1.5 and 2.5 announced as one mega collection for PS4/XB1. Called something like KINGDOM HEARTS I.5 & II.5 HD ReMix+, it will also include 3D and be released in Winter 2015. KH1, KH2, Re:CoM (with Days cutscenes), BBS (with Re:coded cutscenes), and 3D announced for ports to PC in Q1 2016, each will available separately ($15.99) or as a Kingdom Hearts Franchise Pack (59.99) on Steam. 3D's theater mode has a new 7 to 10 minute cutscene when you beat the game: A prerendered video with lots of action like Another Side/Another Story and Birth by Sleep.
-KH[X]chi available on PC in NA and EU before the end of 2015. Maybe also on Android and iOS.
-TWEWY2 coming to 3DS and mobile phones in 2016

I'll eat my hat if 1.5/2.5 are really going to be announced for the current-gen consoles, I still don't see how this will be even remotely possible besides streaming them.

Between Kingdom Hearts 3, any other KH game, and Just Cause 3, this is very exciting to hear!

I, personally, wouldn't mind a FFVII HD Collection. Like, they don't even need to remake VII for me. Just give me that upscaled PS4 version, a Crisis Core port, Dirge of Cerberus port, a remake/localized version of Before Crisis, and you have yourself a deal, SE:)

And for brownie points, they could even throw in Advent Children Complete, Last Order, and the Case of Denzel videos.

Also, what are our chances of getting something new FFVIII or FFIX related? I ask because those two seem to be the FFs that don't get a lot of attention. Especially IX...

Anyway, personally REALLY hoping for TWEWY2, Bravely Second localization, and a FFXII remaster with Revenant Wings cutscenes, or something (I also really want Fortress, but I know that'll never happen).

Also... what about a possible Dissisia and Duodecim port for the PS4, getting slapped with the new Dissidia game when that eventually hits consoles?

And anything KH related is amazing for me (and actually what I want more than anything). That goes without saying, of course:D

And though I know this will also never happen, I'm going to have false hope anyway, and pray that we get some sort of playable Kairi or Naminé thing.

We... we really do need to see some Stella stuff again, as far as I'm concerned. It's almost gotten to the point that I think that maybe Luna is Stella, after all--even if SE did say she was a new character--so here's hoping we see a nice bit of Stella stuff at this event:D

Also, didn't Nomura say that originally Stella's design didn't appeal to him much, but he eventually changed it up so that it did? (I might be misinterpreting things...), if so--and we haven't seen it yet--I really want to see this new design of hers, and E3 would be a great time to showcase it!

There's no doubt in my mind Frozen will be in a world in KH3. It's had a huge amount of success worldwide, and even if SE didn't ask to include it, I'm sure Disney would make sure it was put in.

Which is why, if a new KH3 trailer is at E3 and we get a world revealed, I'm hoping it's something else OR multiple worlds. Because Frozen, while a welcome addition in my opinion, wouldn't be surprising and I want a world or two to feel surprising.

Like majority of the worlds in KH3D when they were revealed. I never would have guessed any of them would have been put in the game before being shown off.

I do think it would be an amazing idea for them to repeat the Type 0 formula. Do a DDD HD for PS4 with a code for a KH3 demo, although I don't think KH3 is in any state to have a demo ready.

More than likely, the most optimistic idea I can think of would be the ReMIXes being announced for PS4 along with DDD also being remastered for PS4 as well. And of course, whatever the smartphone game is.

Here's my 2 cents about the whole PS4/Xbone thing.

If Nomura wants every KH game on a single console(s), why have every game except the grand finale of the saga be available all on one platform? That defeats the purpose. It would make sense to port all the games to PS3 in order to get them all worked out (since PS2-era HD Collections have been common for years), and then take the PS3 games and further polish them for PS4.

If Dark Souls 2 can do it as quick as they did, KH should be easy peasy. KH is not a graphically demanding series.

Honestly expecting this to be more focused on Dues Ex, Tomb Raider, and Just Cause. They’re all big sequels to well received games and I honestly believe they will all be released before FF 15. Those games also would demo well. Considering how this is a whole conference just for Square, they would be crazy to just show trailers.

I do think we will get some teasers for FF 15 and maybe KH3 considering those are the titles that pop up in most people’s heads when you say ‘Square Enix Press Conference.’ I just don’t expect much.

I’m more curious about Nintendo though. Square is running there press conference at the same time Nintendo usually does theirs, be it a conference or a Direct.

I am so damn excited for that conference. I hope KHIII gets a bit of the spotlight since that massive teaser showing people watching Kingdom Hearts 3 footage that has yet to be shown to the public. I would also like to see FFXV and Star Ocean. I am too excited for this years E3.

I don't think we should even try to be optimistic for this. It'll probably just be like all the other events. Sora would not like what I'm saying! But, it's true... they're forgetting how to keep their fans excited. If they gave us a trailer of kh3, with new footage and images of Sora and Riku, that would be different!

The way I see it, there has been such a drought of KH news, that anything will probably re-hype me. So long as it is actually new information and not rephrased old info, I will be really really excited. It probably helps that I'm not anticipating KH3 landing anytime soon, so I don't think big news should be coming out anytime soon.

I've heard that in the long panel about FFXV that was held yesterday where they responded to fan feedback for Episode Duscae, the developers stated that FFXV would have little to no presence at E3 in favor of Gamescom.

If that's true, what could Square be planning for their conference? The lid's been blown on Just Cause 3 and the new Deus Ex. Hopefully, it's something exciting and KH related.

Even then, I didn't expect the conference to only be full of FFXV. Hell, I thnk we'll see KH3 but not as much to make it one of the main topics, perhaps just a new trailer, or new clothing, or a few worlds revealed (as well with another HD remaster coming).

I fully believe their going to be making a lot of announcements on sequels to familiar IPs. Star Ocean is definitely a given, considering 5 is coming out, Bravely Default will no doubt be shown off, etc. But I'm betting there will be a number of surprises, such as FFX-3 (which should surprise no one actually).

Also hoping for a FFXII HD Remaster to be announced, but I cannot see a conference focusing that much on an HD Remaster either.

Hell, I'm even willing to bet (hope, actually) that SE might even have a new IP to show off.

Semi-related: PC-Focused E3 Press Conference Announced - GameSpot S-E will be attending this one too. Sure it'll probably just be XIV, but you never know. Afterall they didn't mention KH3 getting an XB1 version until later into E3'13, they could pull the same with a belated PC announcement.

If there is a PC version of KH3, I'm going to squee; I got a decent pc that runs XIV fairly well. It should be able to handle KH3, and that will also save me some money. ^^

Had it built when my gran was still alive as a budget gaming pc since my old thing was on its last legs and I couldn't play modern games on it. Heck, it even hated Steam..

Usually when publishers have their own conference, one game is the star of the show and gets big reveals. If it isn't going to be FFXV (which it seems like it won't be with the gamescom info, what else could it be besides KH3. I think it's possible they're ready to blow their load on the game with a real full reveal. I don't see any other game they have other than Deus Ex or an unannounced title. It's probably just as likely it could be an unannounced title, but I think KH3 is the only announced title that would fit this spot for square enixs own conference.

Other than what the demo would actually be, I don't think this is a far fetched timeline at all. Gives them about four and a half years of development and keeps the fans in the loop about the game every several months without a year long dry spell starting just next month.

I'm expecting a new, definite KH3 trailer. But more FFXV and Deus Ex related things during this E3. Maybe a showcase on the Unreal 4 Engine, what they can do with it? I mean, that could be interesting for other companies, to know what they can do with it? D23 seems to me to be of more importance for the KH things

We're getting FFXV at e3 so that's cool, idgaf about III because that's years out whichever way you slice it and its slated to pop up at d23 this year. I just really want a DDD HD to be announced here, I hate holding my breath for a game we may not even get. I'm hyped for that more than chi. I mean, its got story behind it but the gameplay doesn't look like anything great and unless it gets the re:coded treatment, I'd rather have it integrated into III somehow.

and tbh I expect games like tomb raider to get the most exposure however at the same time I see that being at the Microsoft show floor.

No kidding on ign. IGN recently tried to pull a DCMA on Blue Gartr too..bleh. They had to pull every IGN video and article off that board, so I kinda have a low opinion on them anyway.

Ign isn't to be trusted. They fired editors for giving unbiased reviews on games where they accepted bribes, and they note when sequels of games have funner gameplay than past entries before sticking it with a lower score.

I still don't get how IGN is still considered a big source after all these things. It's all known that they're extremely biased with reviews and any guides on their site from games which weren't too popular are just neglected and never heard from again.
