Unfortunately for those who want to continue to discover the mysteries behind Beast's Castle, no new story quests have arrived in KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ. Instead, a new Epic Medal Carnival has arrived with Illustrated Ansem and Boss Marluxia as well as another High Score Challenge with Uncle Scrooge medals!
Epic Medal Carnival Filled with Darkness!
"So, you have come this far, and still you understand nothing. Every light must fade, every heart return to darkness!"- Ansem, Seeker of Darkness 
Consume the world with darkness! The big, bad bosses of KINGDOM HEARTS are here!
Illustrated Ansem is a super rare Reversed Medal that does massive damage and lowers the defense of a single target in exchange for your HP! On the other hand, Boss Marluxia is a very unique and super rare Reversed Medal that attacks random targets for a total of 13 times!
Not only that, there’s a small chance of getting an even rarer version that has 1,000 more base strength than the standard Illustrated Ansem and Boss Marluxia! 
* The rare version of the Illustrated Ansem and Boss Marluxia Medals has the boosted strength stat highlighted in yellow, instead of the standard white text. 
* The rare version of the Illustrated Ansem and Boss Marluxia Medals can have its Special Attack Bonus strengthened by using the standard version of the Medal as well.
* However, make sure that you don't fuse the rare version onto a normal version, or else you'll lose the stat boost!
Additionally, Roxas, Axel, and Xemnas have been added in the form of Epic Medals!
But wait, there’s more! If you have previously missed out on the Roxas & Axel & Xion Medal or if you are looking to get a better roll on the Special Attack Bonus of your existing Medal, this is your chance! If you draw Illustrated Ansem orBoss Marluxia before the end of this Epic Medal Carnival, we will be sending you a Roxas & Axel & Xion Medal as a bonus! 
* You will only receive 1 of the Roxas & Axel & Xion Medal, no matter how many of the Illustrated Ansem or Boss Marluxia Medals you are able to draw before the end of the Epic Medal Carnival.
* The Roxas & Axel & Xion Medal will be sent at a later date.

The High Score Challenge has returned!
And from this High Score Challenge onward, being defeated will no longer prevent you from getting a score!
Aim for a high score this week to earn the valuable ATK Boost II & Lux Plus skill, which boosts your damage while also increasing the Lux you receive, as well as Attack Boost II and Attack Boost I!
You might notice that the High Score requirements for the rewards are much lower this time. Why is that? You'll just have try it to find out!

I was really hoping I'd get more time to save up jewels before Boss Marluxia hit so I'd get more chances at it. Did not expect it so soon...Hopefully I'll be able to make 2 10 pulls on Monday, increasing my odds. Plus, another shot at the RAX Medal is awesome. Here's hoping I get lucky and snag mah scythe baby. ;^;

I don't think this epic medal carnival is worth it at all. The 3 new tier 3 medals are all pretty crappy. The 2 new tier 4 medals look kinda good but there's some significant downsides to them.
I'm still quite ambivalent about pulling, the skills don't seem that great, only thing that makes me want to pull are the aesthetics
i'll only do the attack score thing for the mirror medals, but i'll pass on the carnival.

Meh, I've only just changed my avatar since launch day, haha. I'll mostly be spending Jewels on Medals, seeing a show I need good Medals for when the harder bosses come out at me.
Another pull I really want to do but no jewels :v Sucks to be a poor f2p. Oh well, maybe someone in my party gets lucky, the new highscore challenge is literally just pay to win, only one target so the only way to up your score is to get as high bonus multiplier as possible. Meh.

Haha, you're not the only one that changes the avatar's clothes every time. I did that with a game, but I just can't remember which one. It feels realistic to change your avatar's clothes on a daily basis, lol.

Yeah! Congrats~ Although I was a bit underwhelmed after getting Demyx instead of Marly, I really like his Special (though I hate his cost).

Congrats! I'm hoping to get Boss Marluxia, because Marluxia is my favorite member (also why I want the Org Events in the JP version to be localized sooner than later, since Marly will be November's and the Medal is supposed to be brand new if Demyx's event is any indication). Someone in my Party got lucky enough to pull 2 from a single pull, so here's hoping I get lucky too!
I got Xemnas, too. Is he really that amazing of a medal? I already have so many great Power medals (including Axel, boy did I get lucky to get him). Is he a better medal than Xaldin?
