As many of you know, Funko sure has been busy churning out new Kingdom Hearts products the past year. 

 

Funko was also nice enough to send some of their merchandise to us to review! Today we'll be taking a look at the plush series. A few of you were lucky enough to catch us at D23 where we gave away these toys. 

 

Funko sent us a store case of these cuties. I'll admit when the announcement first came that they were producing these, I thought they looked too off-model and unappealing. In person, though, their cuteness is more apparent. Their details are mostly printed-on, but it's pretty clear that these are actually modeled less for die-hard fans and more for youngsters. They're pretty durable in that regard, so if you have little ones in your family who like watching you play the games, you can give them to the tots without fear of them ruining an expensive detailed action figure, but also don't have to worry about them losing or choking on tiny pieces.

 

The display box is pretty nifty. Apparently, though, all the display boxes come with Three Mickeys, Two Goofys and one Donald. Considering, however, Donald was totally un-requested by our D23 followers, maybe Funko's on to something.
