This morning, Kingdom Hearts series producer Shinji Hashimoto announced at Paris Games Week that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX would be coming to PlayStation 4 in one complete collection called Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX. You can now pre-order the collection from Amazon and the Square Enix Online Store for $49.99 USD.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX contains Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days HD Theater, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded HD Theater with over 150 hours of content to play through. All gameplay in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will run at 60FPS.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will release March 9th in Japan, March 28th in North America, and March 31st in the PAL Region.

Because Nomura said there's a secret message across the 3 ReMixes' box arts, I'm really keen to see what the cover art will be for the PS4 rerelease. Could it be a brand new artwork to match the 2.8 and KH3 artwork? Or, an amalgamation of the 1.5 and 2.5 artwork? Regardless I can't wait, 60FPS!! My life is complete

In all seriousness, I have three thoughts on the I.5/II.5 boxart:
* Optimistic - New cover that will lead to KH3;
* Conservative - Reversible cover that includes both I.5 and II.5;
* Pessimistic - We'll get something bland as the current, placeholder art.

VERY simplistic compared with past covers, but it's still cooleo~
Personally, I do always like seeing new, hand drawn artwork for the cover art. The placeholder is classic enough though, so I'm fine either way.

Does someone know until when the pre-ordering for the limoted edition of 2.8 is still available at amazon? Since I live in Europe and amazon is finally shipping games worldwide, I was hoping to preorder both 2.8 and 1.5+2.5 in the same order to reduce shipping costs, but I still haven't as I am waiting for a limited edition of 1.5+2.5 :/
the limited edition is essentially just a "day one" edition. which means it lasts until they run out of copies.

The $8 shipping? Yes, it will most likely arrive release date (sometimes before release date). Depending on where you live or how reasonable your local post is, of course.

I also pre-ordered the NA version. I wish we were getting the box, but I definitely still want the pin. Coolest looking one thus far imo.
However, I do intend to also import from Japan to get that box. I'm currently signing up for Tenso to get the job done. Members on this site as well as Reddit have recommended it as a good middleman.

In my opinion the PS4 versions will be much better than the PS3 ones: 60fps on gameplay, most likely all the bugs and glitches from the previous versions will be fixed and the loading times will be improved, it has been confirmed by Nomura that the PS4 version will have some graphical improvements, etc
So yeah I think you should play them on PS4 if you have the chance :)

Seems fair. But to be honest, I don't see myself coming back to these games, really. But if I do, I'll go with your plan.
Since it's going to be digital too, the PS4 version will be available there "forever" so there's no need to rush buying until you actually want to play.
The limited edition copies of the 1st remix were so hard to get. I thought it would stay at the SE Online Store a bit longer before it went on the waiting list. It's going for $100 on Ebay and I hope nobody stupid bought it at that price.

Your best bet for the 1.5 Limited Edition would be Ebay at this point. I think it be too late to join the waiting list and if this wasn't released in Europe, I highly doubt it would go up at this point. Anybody please correct me if I'm wrong.

No they don't let you know. I've asked customer service numerous times about FFXV Ultimate Edition but they would give me a generic answer. Just sign up on the waiting list and wait for us to e-mail you... >.> Anything that detail nobody has the answer to unless they work at Square Enix Online Store ;).
Yeah I know what you mean but I just gave up on some of their collector edition stuff. Ultimately just put your name on the waiting list and hopefully they'll get back to you. Even if you do somehow get an email for the limited edition, cancel/return the standard edition.
Same here.. I just got the limited edition remixes and haven't had the chance to open them up yet. Have fun once you get your standard edition!
