Personally I doubt we will see anything Kingdom Hearts besides a 2.8 demo on the floor. Seems more like the perfect stage for FF7R's newest trailer sincere know they are doing voice work for it right now.

Yeah, but I can't imagine a trailer at PSX then another at JF. Since PSX has a history with FF7R and JF has a history with KH, we can easily guess how things will go down.

Yeah I fully expect to see the Final Fantasy 7 remake there. That was where we got our first gameplay reveal. Plus I do remember some rumors flying around a while back about how part 1 might come out in Q1 2017, so that might be clarified a bit there (though I personally hope we see gameplay of Ni No Kuni 2).

Anyways back on the topic of Kingdom Hearts, I doubt anything that substantial will be shown off there. All that jazz will probably be saved for Jump Festa as you all have pointed out. Anaheim is where a lot of Disney related events take place, so they COULD show something in that regard but I doubt it. Either way we will probably get announcements on KH3 sometime in December. 2.8 might have been delayed and all, but that shouldn't affect the announcements the trailer promised at the end of the year.

San Fran is really expensive and I'm almost certain that is the only reason why they moved it from there this year. San Jose has a pretty bad homeless problem and way too many Sharks fans...

Anaheim is close to a lot of developers and publishers in comparison.

More stuff about KH2.8 or KHIII would be nice, but Jump Festa is probably a more likely place for them.

It would be cool if they would show us again stuff stuff about the FFVII remake like they did with the last PSX event. If they have already started voice recording it makes me wonder how far into development they are. Ooh, maybe we might see Tifa and the others in a new Nomura edited trailer. I think it`s still a bit amusing how in last yer they had planned a trailer firts, but Nomura was like "this is no good" and directed a new one. :D

playing devil advocate here but would it make more sense to show kh3 there instead of jump festa becuase we would talking about it more until they show 2.8 probally at jump festa and this will keep us talking until the game comes out

Lol no way. KH3'd dwarf 2.8 even two weeks later. It's either JF with a very minimized tease or later on in January.

Yeah, feel free to blame FFXV. I certainly do. We could have been playing as Aqua this December. Instead we are left lusting after the game for another month.

i really hate what ffxv did they delay the game becuase they want to put a patch in because they did most people have bad internet really i''m mean yeah i there are people that have bad internt really come on

i have nver seen the a game without a day one patch most every game has one so will this game and probally 2.8 it un avoiadble

To be totally fair to FFXV, the patch thing is an over-simplification. FFXV NEEDED to be delayed.

whatever it runnied my holidays i wanted to play no 2.8 and south park until next year so i'll be saving my money and get gift cards for christmas

I understand why FFXV had to be delayed, but did they really have to pick THE END OF NOVEMBER? Why not the middle of November? Hell, why not the end of October?! Either way the game will still need patches.

i don't think ff7 will overshadow kh stuff since we have had heard anything about seven since last december and i think we might get it 2018

Yes, exactly. I think it is fine to blame the game for pushing 2.8 back but at the end of the day we are getting two better games for it. I'm mostly kidding when I act upset, but honestly 2.8 gets more time in the oven to fix all of the issues we don't even know about so It's really not a big deal.

I do feel bad for students who may not have the time for 2.8 next year like they would have with the original December release...but shit happens.

That may not entirely be true. There's a pretty good chance that 2.8's development schedule is exactly the same as it was. I have a hard time seeing S-E pouring more money into a project just because the delay of another project pushed its release back. It's likely that 2.8's development schedule and budget is exactly as it was, and they've just changed when the game will be released -- meaning no extra development time. It's not uncommon for companies to sit on completed games and then release them to better fill out their schedule, after all. S-E is already dealing with having to put even more money into a delayed project, I just don't think they would do it for a project that was on-schedule and developing smoothly just because it has to release a little later.

You are right that the schedule is likely the same. Nomura said in his letter to fans that they were nearing their development deadline soon, but I was thinking more along the lines of things that happen in the process of any development like finding random errors and glitches that need attention that can't be predicted within a dev cycle and have to be addressed regardless of the budget.

The kind of audience watching PSX isn't gonna be the kind that cares about 2.8. That's a strictly "only numbered sequels matter, give us Star Wars & Marvel!" type of crowd. Plus it's in Anaheim, kinda lame to hold it in Disneyland's turf & only have a remastered handheld game to showoff. I'm expecting we'll see either:

A. Repeat of last year's Square E3 conf. where UX was the warm up act.

or B. A repeat of the FF7R reveal where the reminder of the PC port was tacked on at the end.

Considering the audience at psx I wouldn't be surprised if we got a kh3 trailer over 2.8 or we get nothing but a ffviir trailer.
