i like the design, but if i were to buy a new ps4 it would be a pro and this seems to be a slim.

I'm just gotta rip a similar pattern get a skin printed for the Pro I do not yet have
(Unless Square does me a solid and does a pro bundle for the US)

I personally love how it looks. I would honestly consider upgrading my PS4 to this if it came west side (even better if it was a PS4 pro as other people have already mentioned). The FFXV one came out here, so maybe this one will as well? Then again, they might wait till KH3 where that one is going to have a LOT of interest behind it.

It looks awesome but I'm honestly not trading in my MGSV PS4 for this one. Let's see what the future brings, still hoping for a KH3 themes PS4.

I misread the price & thought it would be $39.80 for the special PS4 in Australian dollars. The design looks pretty good, but the fact that so far, it's a Japan exclusive makes me wonder if there will be a PAL version available next year.

I would seriously consider trading in my OG PS4 for that (provided I can also bring in my 2TB HD).

the design is simple, from the picture it really doesnt grab me but i am being dishonest because if it came out in NA i would be set on buying it lol

So wait, is the top cover (not face plate) purchasable separately? Because 3,000 yen (~$30) + NA PS4 Slim ($300) is cheaper than importing the whole system + import shipping fees.

I don't know if SE will release a KH3 PS4 given this aesthetic (checkerboard) has been the pattern on every LE KH console thus far (except the GBA SP), so IDK how they would even design it given they seem pretty infatuated by this pattern.

As a lot of other people have said, if this were a PS4 Pro, I'd feel much more obligated to make the investment; for now, I'll stick with my OG PS4.

If they make that sort of faceplate available for the Pro (does the Pro have faceplates? I don't know, I'm not up-to-date on that technobabble.) then I'll 100% get it, though; I'll take any opportunity I can get to flaunt my love for this series.

The Japanese market is clearly more cost efficient and don't care about horsepower with consoles henceforth the reason why the PS4 Slim is being marketed there with skins as opposed to the PS4 Pro.

A Japanese ps4. What's the point? Unless someone can confirm you can change the language from JPN to Eng at the start up screen. And I converted the price. It costs over 300 dollars. Well actually its 294 but with shipping it'll be over 300.

I was just watching a video on Youtube about this LE PS4 and the narrator said that the top cover by itself is different from the top cover on the actual system, albeit with a similar design. Is this true? My ability to read the Japanese on the official site only goes as far as Google Translate, in other words, not very far.

For those interested in seeing the final product (it's been MIA since announced and I cannot find any online photos), this beauty arrived at my doorstep today.

The images are a bit grainy, I can take high quality photos in a couple of days if anyone wants. Some things to note:

Oh wow its so pretty kupo1121! Based on these pictures, I think its the most beautiful looking KH LE system we have gotten to date. I guess the larger size of the system gives them a lot more to work with.

I bought the top cover too and I have to ask, is it super flimsy and comes off at the slightest pull or is it just mine? I lift my ps4 using the gap because it's hard to lift it from the ground and it comes off immediately. I put back the original ps4 cover and it doesn't do that. Probably because it's sturdier. Is mine defective or??? Mine also has this small dent at the right side, maybe it's a production thing maybe it's because they use a frickin paper envelope instead of a box to ship it:mad:

If it was available in Europe, I would definitly grab it.
Also, it would have been nice to do a Pro instead of a Slim.
But yeah, to be honnest, the design is reaaaaally cool! ✨
