You can easily find a valid postal code on the search engine of your choice, but the application period for beta testing closed on the 15th.

Livestreaming gameplay here, Dwarf Woodlands.

I haven't watched the livestream any yet, so I don't know if it came up. But I just wanted to say for anyone in it that after you change cards in your deck, you need to click the rightmost option to confirm it. I was expecting a big confirm button or something, and it took me like a half hour to figure out. So I wanted to save everyone else any headaches on it. ^_^

AHHHHH!!! WATCHING IT NOW (in case SE takes it down if you aren't allowed to). THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH, 30 seconds into it, Dearly Beloved starts playing and I'm going nuts right now!

EDIT: After watching the full hour and rewinding a bit on some parts to try and see if I would have understood it with my extremely basic Japanese, I think it's safe to say that I could have made my way around the game understanding most of it, so I'm sad I didn't enter, but I nonetheless still would have taken forever haha (it really took me 7 seconds to realize it said "Potion" imagine how long it was going to take me to use the menu lol

Having said that I do have a few comments with questions (questions will be in bold to make it easier to read):

- It's safe to assume the lily-pads we saw are not from a new PatF world, but from Dwarf Woodlands in the Dark Forest.

- Why do you along with nearly every other player I saw resemble Leon's clothing? Was that the only clothing option in the Beta?

- Were the loading times decent? I can't help but notice that the loading time between the Dark Forest and the Dwarves cottage took 1 minute and 18 seconds to load one section of the world O_o

- How does the gameplay work exactly with the cards? When I was watching the game, it seems like you essentially make a deck of cards (with Sora being OP haha) and then it randomly gives you 3 to attack with? Do you have to have a minimum of a certain amount of cost in your deck? The reason I ask is because why couldn't you essentially make a deck of just Sora and then constantly be dealing 1000 damage at least, eliminating any beginner heartless with ease?

- Do you ever see other players in the worlds as well or do you only see them when you work together on a tough boss?

- I love how the symbol for Wonderland when you change location is the Cheshire's face

- I really hope they eventually make these cards into real TCG cards like the KH TCG, even though it isn't new art, I really like them :)

- What exactly was the menu with the Moogle in the bottom right for? With all the 3 tabs on the right, and how did you get like 7 cards that time when you went to that screen around the 36-minute mark?

No, there were other outfits but this was the one I liked most.

Were the loading times decent?

Honestly, considering this is a PC Browser game and not a console game, the loading times are decent enough, especially what with all the content featured in the video coming from a server in Japan. Additionally, I was at 100mb/s speed so other people with slower internet might not be as fortunate to wait a minute while in the beta, then again, much of the players were in Japan so it would be Lightning fast for them.

How does the gameplay work exactly with the cards?

Well, you have 4 categories in the cards: Physical, Speed, Magic and Assist. Not sure how Assist cards work, but Speed is things like Sliding Dash, Blitz, etc. with Physical being Fire Raid, Thunder Raid, all that and Magic being Thunder, Fire, all that goodness. You basically make a deck of 9 cards, they all have a rating for their power and the cards all control your HP. When I began, I had 1000HP, but after I added some pretty OP cards, got to 9000HP. And there is a limit for how many cards you can hold total; You have a limit of 100 cards, and so far I've got 61.

Do you ever see other players in the worlds as well or do you only see them when you work together on a tough boss?

So far, I have not seen a single other player except in the hub. Additionally, it seems boss fights are one-on-one? I'm not sure, it must be something the team is still working on or I still haven't found out how to do it.

That screen is to exchange Moogle Points (hereon MP), much like Chain of Memories and its remake, into cards used in battle. I got 10 cards because I exchanged 2000MP of my 7000MP to get those 10 cards. You basically have the option of getting just one card, or a stack of 10, of course, you're gonna have to end up discarding/selling/trading your cards due to the limit of 100.

That is the team screen, in the email sent before the beta, they said we would all be in pre-determined teams. That page is just that, it shows you the team, and if there is a boss (to get tons of LUX) and the bar with blue and red shows how much LUX I guess is needed to defeat the other team but the thing is, both teams are #24 so it's either a glitch or a progress bar...

How did the battle with Darkside work?

I'm not sure what the case is with it but the second time I fought it, it was a Lv. 15 and I was Lv. 5 so I thought I might as well try, but I died. So I guess it works in that either everyone needs to contact everyone about the boss and raid it altogether, or each person takes turns in depleting the HP, but of course, the latter would take too much time and the opportunity would go because there is a timer of 15 minutes I believe.

What was the screen that had the "Base Card" on it mean?

It's like how in Final Fantasy XIII, you can dismantle armor and weaponry to get you components, but in this case, it just gets you Munny, the shop is closed at the moment, I'm not sure if it will open in the beta at all but I'm assuming its for the shop. Additionally, this part of the game is really good if you have too many cards and need Potions and Ethers.

EDIT: I am mistaken about the Base Card page, it's similar to Command Melding and the such, you put a base card and put other cards that add to its strength and defense. Additionally, leveling it up to a limit of 50.

There are four outfits for boys and four for girls. Technically two unique designs each, with an alternate color swap. Just to add on, there's only one skin color available right now, two unique sets of eyes and 3 different hairstyles (with 3 colors to choose from) for each gender.

It's honestly the best outfit out of both genders.

Depends on your connection speed, your browser, and all that jazz. Expect lag always, though.

Only in the plaza, boss fights are one-on-one while your team is also attacking it on their own. Um, best example is to play Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade...

Every 15(?) minutes a new Darkside is summoned to be fought and will have a different level. Your team competes against the other to whittle down it's HP and defeat it. Many different people are attacking it at once, which is why sometimes you can be fighting it one minute then the next it is defeated even though you saw the HP bar being full.

Again, play Airborne Brigade on the iPhone and you'll get a VERY good idea of how this game is playing for the most part. (The card system is closer to Guardian Cross' system, though)

Overall it is like every other social game. But cute.

Oh damn! That is one amazing card. I envy you so much right now!

Since it wasn't answered above; Assist cards are equipped in a separate tab from the action cards. It's in English, so shouldn't be hard to find. You can equip 5 total, and they don't add to your CP cost, so you can use your strongest right away. They give passive buffs, and their main focus is increasing your maximum HP and Lux income. There's a slot for special abilities, but I haven't seen any with them, so I'm not sure if they're present yet.

As far as Assist cards go, I'd recommend searching Wonderland, as I found a bunch of silver Merlin and Cheshire Cat cards that give great bonuses. You might be inclined to go all Cheshire, as his base stats for both are significantly higher then Merlin's. However while his HP keeps going up as you level him, the Lux kind of patters out. Merlin goes the other way, focusing on Lux over HP. So at high levels they're more unique and Merlin becomes a lot more useful. So if you have 5 silver Cheshire Cats it would be good for low levels, but I'd recommend upgrading one or two Merlin's as well to maximize Lux income.

Also, something else it took me a while to figure out. If you mouse over an ingredient when upgrading your keyblade, it will tell you what world it can be found in.

Even though it looks repetitive, it looks like a lot of fun! It seems they've also thrown in the updated music from HD. For a beta version, this is looking pretty promising imo! :)

a bit of useful info about card fusion.

if you fuse cards with the same attribute (e.g. Sora (red) and Auron (red)) you get bonus Exp from the fusion

if you fuse two cards that are alike. (e.g. Mickey N and Mickey N) you instead get something called a "Limit Cut" which, based on my analysis, increases the maximum level of a card by 5. (there's also a counter when you fuse that goes down every time you perform a limit cut. I have yet to see whether it can go lower than zero)

From what I can hear, it's actually the CoM music.

Vəntus is right. From what I've listened so far, I can tell that the musics played in Wonderland/Agrabah are the ReCoM versions because you can notice by their instrumentations.

In the plaza, it plays the Dearly Beloved Reprise version from KH1.

Hmm I'm not sure. It must be an original world; as a resting place for KHx.

It has a lot of resemblance to Radiant Garden so I would assume it's Radiant Garden before BBS by thousands of years, additionally, Dearly Beloved that plays is actually the remastered one from KH(FM)HD.

It's a weird blend with Traverse Town, Radiant Garden, and I felt part of it reminded me of Traverse Town (with the various hills the town sits on) and the fountain plaza in the dream Traverse Town.

Yeah, I assume it was some other world that was new for Chi but it resembled RG a lot with the big castle in the background that doesn't look completely like the castle in RG.

I know you asked Vəntus, but as far as I explored there were no Disney characters around. You get to a certain point where a high leveled Heartless sits and you're can't really pass.

i've beaten the high level Heartless in all three of the worlds but it still didn't unlock the stage any further though =o

I wouldn't imagine there to be anything past there. It is a beta after all.

Like for example in Dwarf Woodlands there was a level 40 Large Body Heartless and you know unless you had fantastic cards (I did not) and a good level (obviously I didn't) it would kill you.

BP?

Battle Points. You get five and they limit how often you can attack in a campaign. They retore themselves after 45 minutes or so. You get a "first time attack" for free then any time you want to attack after requires using up your BP. You get three choices on how to spend your BP. You can use one and do a regular attack, use 2 and have x2 the attack power, or 3 and and do x4 the attack power.

And a campaign is like when you face off against Darkside, right? Is that why you can't have the same person fighting Darkside over and over and in 45 minutes slowly defeating Darkside single-handedly?

Well, not exactly. If you have BP restoring items (i have a ton of them) you can just use them to keep attacking. You might not beat it, but you can definitely attack it a lot of you have BP restore to spare.

there are times when Darkside's HP is very low. and with the good cards you can actually defeat Darkside single-handedly. XD

EDIT: If you notice while in combat, there are times when you get a critical strike from a card. The reason is that despite the Random Number Generator choosing your cards for you, if the first card is a physical attack, second card a magical attack or the third attack being a speed attack then you get a guaranteed critical strike so it pays to have all three kinds of cards in your deck :)

I don't know. I've seen a lot of beta's where they don't give back the saved data, however they send an url to your email to get a special item when the fill game launches.

Is his health low because other's have been attacking him? And what level are you sullenclown, you seem like you are taking down everything O_o



Personally, I'd value an in-game item over saved data because you can easily get to that point again, but a special item generally is exclusive to you for a while (until down the road they release it as paid DLC or something).



If anyone can record another segment, I'd love to see more that there is to the game. If you can't that's fine, an hour is enough, but if possible, it can't hurt haha xD

i don't know if you noticed but there are times when Darkside goes back to level 1. that's the time his health is easily depleted

Ahhhhh, I didn't notice that haha xD Also, in terms of damage, how much more damage does an SR or R card do compared to a C card? I'm just curious how VITAL they are in terms of really doing damage :)

P.S. There hasn't been a confirmation when the actual game opens right? Because I plan on going ASAP! ^_^
