Series Director Tetsuya Nomura has just tweeted on the official KINGDOM HEARTS Twitter, telling fans they can expect the latest KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue trailer on 9/13 at 17:00 JST (4:00 AM EDT / 1:00 AM PDT).

A slightly longer version of the newest KH2.8 trailer will be released five-ish 9/13 Japan time. The link to the vid will be posted here, I hope you watch. In this vid, there'll finally be…! And before that…! -Nomura

Some Disney characters like Mickey, Donald, Goofy or even better Maleficent would be nice. MDG landed in Daybreak Town for the third time now, there has to be reason for this.
Oh, this really sounds like we're getting something new. Maybe some 0.2 gameplay, that's honestly what I'd like to see the most at this point. There's already so much to speculate on thanks to the Chi ending, I can wait until December for more plot revelations, for now I just want to know that the game plays well. I've heard good things from basically everyone who has gotten their hands on the demo, but I really want to see more myself too!

This is exciting! I hope that we see more stuff about Back Cover, especially to see how Skuld would look with engine they are using. Hmm, more stuff about DDD would also be nice. Maybe some cutscenes and how the game runs on 60 fps. I am a bit conflicted about 0.2. I am hoping that they show more it but if they do, I am not sure do I want to watch it since it`s a short episode and they showed quite a bit about it already a few months back. I have been avoiding stuff about it but ehh, I guess my curiosity and thirst for PS4 graphics Aqua will get the better of me. I am looking forward to see if anything has changed in 0.2 during the course of these few months.

I'm conflicted on 0.2 footage. on one hand, I'd love to see more things about the RoD and possibly the other corrupted disney worlds parts, but at the same time the entire game is a couple hours long tops, so the more they show the more they spoil lol.

I think he has a sketch of a character that will only be shown for 20 seconds that will then be thrown away but revered for many years as the ultimate form of that character.

So, Ventus is a Dandelion, Ventus is the Player, the MoM possessed Luxu, and that theory about Unchained Key being Kairi's dream inside the Realm of Sleep all confirmed, then.

Tbh, I don't think I'd really want stuff that big in this trailer, but all the same... I wouldn't put it past Square Enix to include those types of things at all.
Other theories I have is that maybe we'll see a version of Ventus trolling Aqua in the RoD, similarly to how Terra did?
Or maybe Square Enix lied to us all, and will actually have a small snippet of something KHIII related at the end of the II.8 footage. *cough*Frozen*cough*
There's also the possibility we could see Riku and Kairi's new outfits (if they actually get them at the end of II.8, or something, and not in III).
And maybe even learning what Lea's "mystery errand" in Radiant Garden was, if he shows up after it in II.8?
None of this will at all be revealed in the new II.8 trailer, I know, but still... I'm still boarding the hype train, anyway!:D

Some kind of collectors edition announcement or at least the boxart reveal would be nice (I don't expect that in the trailer itself, but some kind of announcement or reveal from Square in the next few days would be nice).

That is true about the collectors edition. Even if we don't get one (I expect Square to create a big fancy CE for KH3 whenever that finally comes out), I hope we at the very least get some kind of limited edition or deluxe edition. A steelbook, artbook, pin or anything would be fine with me.
I don't think they will announce a PS4 collection either, but I REALLY want them to. I have a few friends that either wanna get into KH or they wanna get caught up with the series, and a PS4 collection would be the perfect opportunity for them to do so (they don't own a PS3). Plus having the HD collections in an even higher resolution at 60 FPS would be AMAZING.

It could be that the trailer being uploaded after the conference is much longer than Sony could allow in their conference, which runs for a limited period of time.

That's my guess as well. Announcing a PS4 collection next year would make sense instead of announcing one before 2.8 comes out. Especially since, if KH3 comes out next year, the announcement of that game's release date will make people more excited to buy a PS4 collection.

OMFG IT LOOKED SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL but it getting delayed to January after all the hype surrounding the December worldwide release is a bit of a bummer. Better a delayed game than a rushed one but still. :(
