For those of you who are unaware, Japan Expo is an annual convention that takes place in Paris, France celebrating all things from the land of the rising sun, from culture, to media, to everything in between. With Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- releasing in 2 months and Kingdom Hearts 3's recent announcement, who knows what new information they'll reveal there?
Japan Expo 2013 takes place from July 4-7 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. Check back with us often as the days go by. You may discover something new! The event will be broadcast live on the Japan Expo website!

For the full game, of course. But for just demos, just getting a feel of the gameplay should be enough, whether it's watching it from a presentation or actually holding the controller.
They actually use the full game at events like this.

And now it's also Riku. I do think we've had enough Sora though, so far, in terms of KH Play Arts, in first place comes Sora with 11 different versions (including the 2 not out yet from DDD) and in second place comes Riku with 3 (including the 2 not out yet from DDD). I'm not that majorly surprised, as HD 2.5 surely gets announced only at TGS.
Despite that, it's in Europe, Europe never got Re: Chain of Memories on top of KH 1: Final Mix, so for us in the EU 1.5 is practically a complete new package that may warrant a bit more Q&A with Nomura.

Honestly, maybe the KH fanbase is just humble but I find that it is rare they "brag" and show off. Heck, the winners of the Nomura signed lithograph I didn't know even received their prize until I saw a photo during E3 when someone took a photo of their "KH collection" which consisted of that and a few keychains. Safe to say I was floored haha
That or the contest is just a lie, like the E3 one for NA with the shirts and posters :(

I think if Mickey were in Halloweentown, they wouldn't give him an outfit that is pretty much already what Donald is. I mean, Goofy's like Frankenstein or a zombie, Donald is a mummy already, I would think Mickey would be some other ghoul (I always saw him as a vampire).
I wasn't expecting any new news at the conference so I can't say I'm disappointed, since I'm not ^_^ Nice to see Nomura making so many appearances as of late :D

It's really nice to see him. With all of the news, game play, and discussion, I tend to forget that Mr. Nomura is the one that has made it all possible and if I were to meet any-one person in my life it would be him. I've been playing the KH series since the first game came out in 2002 when I was in the second grade and have grown with it. While it would probably sound weird to most people I know, This series has definitely shaped my personality/outlook/humor/ and overall-self. I'm assuming most on here know what I mean. It has also supplied me with 1143+ hours of entertainment and adventure. And I feel kinda bad for those people who write it off as a kids game and aren't aware that BBS is probably the saddest game I will probably ever play, or that this series has the most complex story and characters/character ties I've ever seen. I can't wait to relive this series again with the remix's and then see what Mr. Nomura has to offer us with KH III. Whether we Kingdom Hearts fans would choose to end our adventures with sand between our toes on Destiny Islands or enjoying some sea-salt ice cream on a clock tower watching the sunset. I'd like to thank him for making me who I am, and supplying me/ all of us with what is my favorite thing in my life. :)

I was unaware someone on KHi went or you knew someone that went (since you make it sound like you know how it went down, which is good) and that second part is just obvious lol I should have been more specific, but the reason I asked was because some autograph sessions involve the person autographing all these papers prior to the session and then not showing up and them just handing out the pieces of paper to those in line. Anyways:
- Did Nomura allow them to sign anything else (did he sign a lot of things and then give them that photo you posted earlier as well)?
- Were they allowed to take photos with him or ask him any questions (with a translator there obviously)?
- Were they allowed to pose with him and take photos or was there not enough time?
- How long did the session last?
- Did he try to rush people out of there (or did the security try to)?
- Was the line organized and how were the 100 decided, was it just whoever got there first? If so, did anyone notice that a lot of people got turned away after the 100?
Just a few question, I'll probably think of more since I've never heard of Nomura having an autograph session...ever! :)

I don't understand where that insult came from but either way, I just stated that at some autograph sessions in the past, the person was not even in attendance and they merely handed out papers so how could I know whether or not "100 people lined up and got something signed by him one by one." There is a difference between "using your brain" and "making a wild guess."

This. It's sad, but the display stand is one of the most hyped things I have towards this figure (and Riku). SE used to never release their KH figures with stands, so Kairi and Axel from the original line are super easy to knock over AND you could never pose any of the Sora's in a cool pose where both feet were firmly planted (Roxas either).
Finally they are releasing these with stands (as they are all these figures) so we can make them look 5x more badkupo with cool poses :) I found a great site where they are a little bit over $50 (you got a great deal I'll admit) and I can pick them all up, the new Formation Arts line (which is looking to be my favorite set in the series), and the newly released Poison Ivy Play Arts (certain figures besides KH I have to pick up, far and few between).
