Getting sooo tired of this NA game. The same old, same old. I see all that is going on with the JP game, and all we get is the same old junk in different colors. Still no real Brooms in the game, still the same daily jewels amounts, still the same stale old stuff.
I've been playing less and less. And I am no longer spending a penny on pulls, except for maybe gem pulls. I'm sticking with what I got and leveling up keyblades. Will pop for a good VIP medal week, but that is it. SENA, you're killing this NA version slowly, in an agonizing way.

Yeah, that's way too true. In the end, I didn't manage to get Extra Attack on PTR last week, this week's union cross is just plain boring again. I liked the weeks they put old medals in and back then I honestly thought they'd gradually add more and more old medals and it'd fun farming again. They even took out the adventurer or at least he didn't drop the existing medals anymore. What the heck.
After the last broom quests I was hoping they'd finally get "casual", starting super heavy and gradually getting more accessible and was quite disappointed to open the game this morning and find a ton of gem options and even possible magic mirror quests. Magic mirrors. Seriously? I spent them all two months ago and I'm already back at over 100, so these quests are nice, but really not necessary. Gauntlet is okay, but I see three different gems on the banner which means it'll probably drop one and a "oh, sorry, our mistake, haha, 300 jewels for that, here you go" message. Ugh. It pains me to see that everytime I think they finally added something that's long overdue and get hyped again, they remove it and it won't be seen for a few weeks. Considering I still get hyped over things in the game seems to mean that I still have some hope in me, so Sena, please, keep that little light alive.

Seriously now? What did they do wrong this time?
It's good that both of you seem to already have a lot of stuff, but that doesn't change the fact that there are always new players joining this game. The deal is perfect for those. I often also get angry over this game, but I feel like it's just unnecessary this time around.
Also, whatever, they can continue doing mistakes imo. That's 300 Jewels for me, so whatever.

So when are we getting actually good looking avatar parts xD Maybe it's just me but I really don't care about all these weird pineapple ornaments and Abu plushies, where are all the cool hairstyles, pretty clothes and all that neat stuff? I mean seriously clover glasses? I love dressing up my character okay that's important. Almost as important as having a glowing keyblade and sparkles. Forget EX medals, I need more aesthetics.

I mean what bugs me the most about Union Cross is that it's super tedious. Most of the time I do like 80 % damage cause my mates are either afk or level 10. I don't mind helping someone once in a while, but it's hard to try and get the missions done alone.

Uh, there's no secret. I only guilt during campaigns and I use mirrors only on medals that need <5 guilt or for medals that are really good and worth the effort which I don't come across very often. I basically live on a little bunch of VIP medals and orga medals, so I'm able to hoard loads of magic mirrors. xD proud mode throws these things out like the banners throw Abu at me (which I find disturbing, are they indirectly throwing shit at me?).
I'd love to have the male clothes available for my female character, I usually find those cooler. But this would probably mean it'd would have to be accessible the other way round which Sena probably wouldn't allow. Yeah, I could just switch to my male character, but I got so accustomed to my char *o*

I wanted to speak on this, but figured I'd probably sound like a broken record. We too rarely get any avatar parts that are actually usable unless you like wild, silly accessories like these clover glasses or if you like dressing up in animal/Disney costumes.
Still very sad these never made it to global:
Granted, they probably aren't to a lot of people's liking either, but... I assume more people would want these than those strange pineapple headwear,clover glasses, or yet another Aladdin themed costume.
Usually I just accept that other people like those kinds of things and move on, but in this game it can be hard to do.
Although the last Arabian costume came with that really nice headpiece that actually goes perfect with my set while giving me the Skill Perk I need.
It replaced that headpiece from the Japanese set (furisode, I think it was called) which is really nice.

Oh yeah these glasses suck lol. But I actually liked the weird pineapple ears...though I don't have normal Mickey or Minnie ears maybe thats why lol. I have been using it with my Summer Minnie set cuz I thought it was cute.
I can also see the tiredness with Aladdin stuff but I thought the shoulder Abu was adorable. I'd like more cute little dudes like that. I like the Zootopia arm ones from last year, too.

You gotta be fair there, it's way easier to make fun and cute accessories for a chibi sprite instead of a 3D model in a really dark and serious setting (not to mention that Aqua has her own canon outfit and wasn't meant to be a blank canvas like our avatar so they had to balance customization and recognizability). SE was testing the waters (quite literally) with the customization in 0.2, if it was well received, they might expand it in 3 or another future title.

It lacks in every area, really. Even and especially the fact that you can customize only certain parts of her dress and not the whole thing.

Heck, you might not even get any more in-depth if they decide to add clothing customisation to the game

Since [KH0.2] is a short episode, the plan was to add them in to give some sort of additional content for replay value. As for [KH3], there are already plenty of other factors implemented for that sort of replay value, so it all depends on the state of development as time goes on. |
For something last minute that they didn't really put some effort into, I'm happy with what we got. Some representation for unused Disney properties (in the form of Marie's cat ears) and I got to have a lacy blue/white sleeved Aqua that could wear Minnie Mouse ears around Mickey (they were having some role play while the cameras were off).

What i want more then anything really are some more angry adventurer quests. Id like them to start droping herc and Phil. i have poison resist on mine, and id like to get ground air or 1000, plus id like to trait roll on that hd aqua we got back in January, i thing it be a bit more relevant if i could get a good trait on it for raid bosses

I dunno... I personally don't consider this a justification. Sometimes, you might have to choose to do not instead of doing poorly.
Or at least this is how I do things on my own, bot for hobbies and actual work. I have a lot of ideas, and I try to do some of them the best way possible in the alloted time.

Based on past experiences I understand these concepts are somewhat dangerous to express, so I'll better clarify: this is but a personal view on this particular mechanic and how it was executed. This isn't, by any means, me saying I could've done a better job by myself, me thinking Nomura and/or the team are "unworthy" of my money or something, or deciding for everybody on the planet that it's a bad thing no one should like.
I praise doing the best and not settling for a last ditch effort very highly, and I don't think this particular feature resembles my personal way of thinking, hence the disappointment. Disagreeing with me is acceptable and legit.
I just realized this is also tremendously Off topic by now, and I started it. I apologize. End of my personal rant with 0.2's customization here.

I just wanted to close up by saying I've been reading some behind the scenes developer reports from Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands and they mentioned putting some things in just because they wanted to. They knew Troy Baker liked and wore funky socks so they wanted to put in a reference to that by completely animating his character's shoe coming off and having his sock on display throughout an episode, so the concept of a team wanting to do something - whether an in-joke or something out there as a testing grounds for other things - isn't that foreign to me and it makes sense when you actually hear why directly from them.

Nothing of this excuses 0.2's hollow shell of a customization. I've seen non-chibi games with a far better and more detailed custom.
Of course there are, there always will be games that are better in certain aspects. Still, whether or not the developers decided to add it last minute or not, it might've been their tentative version of a possible customization feature for the console games. And I for one would be kind of appalled if I felt like they spend more time on customizations than on the story of 0.2. An elaborate choice of outfits and colors and whatnot for Aqua would've felt like "Well we are cheating you out on the story we promised, but hey, clothes, am I right?!"
So yeah, I'm not a fan of the customizations either (I don't really want it, to be honest, I'd be fine with a color palette/old outfit change for Sora&Co though), I personally think it works better in UX anyway and I wouldn't be overly sad if they decided not to go with it in the future. But if people love it, bring it back! As long as I'm not forced to put certain outfits on Sora because of perks and stat bonuses...

What about being a glorified demo with a main-game runtime of two hours or less?
You're already running the game thin just by collecting the customization items.
What're you gonna do, spend an hour customizing Aqua just to fight Devil's Wave while looking a little silly? Like c'mon man. Getting a little more riled up than you should.

I don't think anyone needs much luck beyond getting a Boosted EX Sephiroth. I think the game just handed me a golden ticket. Lol.
It was the third pull. Still have enough to pull two more times for the guaranteed medal, but am thinking I maybe shouldn't do that and save for the future. I mean if I pulled another Sephiroth life would be so good... But that most likely would not happen.
