Lot of crack weather going around where I live and everywhere else, so it got me to posting this thread.

What's the worst weather to go through? Doesn't limit to where you live, could be anywhere else. Been through bad weather, then tell all of what happened. Natural disasters are also welcomed.

I'd guess that a hurricane would probably be worse than the tornadoes we get here. Sure you can evacuate, but if you can't, then you have to stay through all the wind and flooding left behind. Worse natural disaster would be an earthquake since you can never exactly tell when/where it's going to show up and can cause widespread destruction.

Today was my first time being through a tornado warning. I freaked out even though one didn't show up, but the lightning show up like crazy afterwards.

P.S. Do tell if a thread like this has been made before.

Common Weather: Hot/Humid days. I hate it when it's too hot outside. Honestly, I would rather have it too cold than too hot.

Natural Disasters: I would say that the worst of these would be an Earthquake, just because it tears up everything.

There was a monster of an ice storm that knocked out the power all around my state for a week.

I was freezing my ass off.

lol. There was one blizzard that wiped out our power two winters ago. It was like I was in 'The Day After Tomorrow'.

We've had a few blizzards over the years that dumped 4-5 feet of snow. One time it got so cold after a blizzard that the snow wouldn't melt, and 2 months later there were still patches of it left over.

Other than that there really isn't any risk of other natural disasters. Pretty safe city I'd say.

Blah..... I guess when I get the chance to get on a computer I'll post the link.... not that it matters much... its a semi-old thread.

If you want to look at it anyway... you can go to my profile -> threads created by me -> page 3-> Natural Disasters :p

We freaking got snow. In April. Like, on my birthday, it was snowing.

I've been through so many Tornado drills that, honestly, I don't even care anymore.

Oh, JuttingRock, we've had much worse here. Actually, that happens a lot.

I also hate when blizzards knock the power out.

Yeah, I live in North Dakota.

A year ago, we had a pretty bad icestorm that knocked the power out for a few days. . .We live in a big, pretty open, house, so we had to cut the house down to the kitchen/livingroom. Not fun. I went to my friend's house after a bit, left my parents to freeze. XD.

I was in Florida when Hurricane Andrew hit. I think it was 1994. It was really crazy. The army was there, there was broken glass all over the place from the skyscrapers in Miami. Pretty bad time for people.

Yeah '92. I went through it too. Our part of Miami got demolished.... eye of storm went right over and tore us apart. Heh you saw the skyscrapers so Im guessing you were downtown.... not nearly as much damage up there as there was by us. Heh.... still got home vids of the before and after. Memories lol.....

Crappy weather: Hot and humid after an afternoon thunderstorm. You feel like dying. Thank god for AC.

My daily life in the summer.

Fun weather: Hurricanes are really fun, well, if they're small. You get to skip school and run around in the wind and rain. I remember Charlie, and Francis. Those were so fun, and its always fun to walk around the neighborhood and laugh at other peoples uprooted trees.
Luckily for us out trees are far away from the house, and our roof was recently fixed, so we didn't loose a single shingle. :D

We in Iowa have been having tornados all over the place lately.

Last week one took out about half of an entire city, and death count was 9. It was about a half hour or so away from where I lived.

Just yesterday there was another tornado about an hour and a half away that wasn't nearly as bad. Numerous others have been sighted recently, and our weather all this week is supposed to be packed with thunderstorms. D:

Hot, humid, thunderstorms. wtf D:

most natural disasters are pretty equally devastating, earthquakes seem like they'd be the worst, but when you think about the hurricanes, tsunamis and stuff we've had recently, they've been just as bad.

hot & humidi is the worst for weather, hands down.

Hmmm.

Do firestorms count? If not, probably a category five hurricane.

I love Minnesota. Never been in anything serious, just a lot of blizzards.

I do remember a tornado when I was like...6 or something, though. That's the only one I've ever been in.

But this week there's supposed to be a lot of thunderstorms.

Bangladesh has been having many storms these days.

All of these started after the recent Cyclone.
