Since Eraqus sees Terra, and not Aqua or Ven, as a son, I think Terra was probably raised by him, while Aqua was found by him as a young girl (probably around 10)

I support this idea. ^_^ I was always worried that the "Terra was there longer" thing might make Aqua's comparative skills seem unreasonable, but if she was 10, seven or eight years of training could probably be enough time to catch up.

I hope so. I don't think they did in the Japanese manual though. My guess would be Terra is 20 -23, Aqua is like 19 and Ven is 14 or 15

Because Eraqus told Aqua privately that he cared for Terra like a son. He never told Terra how he felt.

To me, it was kinda like an FU really. He could have said: "I think of the three of you as my children" or "I think of you and Terra as my children" but no, he just says he considers Terra a son. Aqua was probably a little pissed at that.

they didnt in the jap manuel, not taht it really matters to me.
