What inspires you to write, draw, etc? Discuss!

everything, but mostly humans and all the little things that they say and some how convert that into a full design.

Mostly anime and music. But with the music, it has to be Classical because of the raw emotion. I lead that emotion to form into what I want it to be. I use it mostly for RPs though.

Is anyone like me where they'll listen to just one little chorus or a small part of a larger song and get inspired JUST from that piece?

It depends on the song. There are times that only a chorus will inspire me more than twenty songs.

I find a lot of inspiration in science, nature and fantasy. Things like comic books/manga feed my imagination as well. Music inspires me as well.

I find that instrumental music inspires me more than music with lyrics.

Tragedies inspire most of my art work. Nature can do it, too. Anything I find beautiful can be interpreted in my head into something incredible.

Life experiences, mostly: I write from my memories and emotions. Music helps, but I consider it secondary to the root feeling or event that inspired me to write in the first place.
