Servbot please Capcom, seems to be tons of cool Capcom characters but im not sure which Marvel characters to hope for as im not a big fan (hear Dead Pool's cool though).

Apparently, all Marvel characters are going to originate from the original world (Earth-616), so I guess that means not to expect Marvel Zombies or Ultimate designs.

It's also going to be an even roster, which doesn't surprise me.

And as for the unknown shadow that I couldn't put my finger on, it seems a lot more like Dormammu than Mephisto.

Actually, I was thinking the same, I was editing my post (about Zero's design from Megaman Zero). According to the podcast, they are pushing above 30, but I don't think they're going to reach a 56 character roster like MvC2. Early to mid 40's seems about right.

And changed my design want for Megaman, I decided I'd prefer to see Star Force Megaman.

That's a lot of Spider-man reps-- I'm torn between Venom and Carnage. Venom's seem to last longer and more important to the series, seeing that he's managed to pull off his own mini-series and the whole Anti-Veon thing going on at the moment. The guy in the podcast, I forget his name. Chris Baker's (Marvel's character licensing manager) the name, he said that since there are a lot of characters that have been made popular recently, they're pushing for them more than usual also wanting to be a lot more diverse in the cast, than having almost everyone be from the X-Men (on his side of the company).

I'd hope for a Carnage color-swap for Venom, as well as an Anti-Venom. WEW. ;3
Also armored Spider-man with Symbiote Spidey swaps too.

I wouldn't see why not. Wouldn't hurt to have a plot. It's not like it's going to bring down the quality of the actual game in terms of the actual fighting. The game's been in production for over a year now (almost two) and already have at least 30 fighters as of now, and have a whole other year ahead of them, and that's if they decide to not push it back.

Venom and Carnage have not been relevant in years. Carnage was killed at the beginning of the New Avengers team by Sentry and that was before I'd even started reading comics. During that time Eddie Brock has also not been Venom, Mac Gargan has. And the only reason people gave a shit about him was because he was on Norman Osborn's Thunderbolts and then Norman's Dark Avengers. Neither of those characters deserve a spot in the game if we're basing things on current popularity status.

And Anti-Venom? I don't read Amazing Spider-Man, but no one really seems to care about Eddie Brock's new turn ever since he came back in New Ways to Die.
