So becoming attached to people online the same way you do your friends in person is considered "stalkerish?" I think it's safe to assume that many people here rank the people they know online about as high as people they know personally. While it's much easier to fake shit online than off, Hellpark is right when he says you can still get to know someone online well enough to know them.

But yeah, it's possible to get to know someone online just as well, even if not better, than someone irl. Some of my online friends I actually feel closer to than my friends irl.

As far as love, online, I believe it's possible too. You can't be completely sure, and can't count on it 100%, but it's not too far fetched to say you've fallen for someone you know online. Some people just make a connection.
