I thought episode 5 was handled well. It's a fun breather episode. I'm curious how the Yuri subplot from the first episode gets resolved.

I'm guessing the Power Broker is gonna be the hook for a potential season 2.

I disliked how they resolved the Zemo storyline but it is what it is. They are probably gonna adapt Thunderbolts so he's gotta be in place.

I was hoping he'd go after Isaiah personally. Zemo is more of antivillian in the MCU so having him go downhill could've been interesting.

Anyone kinda find it funny that the dark/racial undertones are brought up front? I mean this is Disney we’re talking about...

So, I’ve rewatched the episodes and the one thing that still annoys me is how the show went from super awesome rescue mission to finding out and dealing with a new cult ran by kids who seem to be misguided extremists. Like the first scene of the first episode was soooo good. I want more intense action scenes. Not gunna lie it went from amazing to kinda meh

I think we'll get another big action scene in the finale. Can't help but feel the "misguided extremist" plot was strongly altered because of the pandemic, it seems a bit watered down and the vaccine plot point was dropped pretty quickly.

I think he was in the Winter Soldier film. At least, that’s what IMDB says. That’s a film I didn’t watch I think, but I imagine Sam fought him there and they decided to bring him back for episodes 1, 5, and 6.

Gotcha, also nothing queer happened despite that one person saying to continue watching. It costs them $0 to say nothing and get people's hopes up. They got me focusing on background characters to see if they added an easy to miss kiss like Rise of Skywalker.

He would come back anyway in an Avengers crossover along with all the other heroes from tv series.

I can’t imagine Captain America being stuck on TV when we have a bunch of characters from shows going to movies (eg Ms Marvel) and characters from movies going to shows (eg Nick Fury, War Machine, French villain guy).

It was nice to get quick confirmation of a new movie with the new Captain America (well, not officially confirmed) but at the same time that article came out well before a lot of people in the US would have had a chance to watch.

This was a good series, it didn't always quite hit the landing, but when it did it did so well. I think this show really highlights the advantages of a series over a movie, they got to explore the characters more and show us more of their mundane life and family

The action scene's were really well done. Sam is definitely at his best when taking to the sky.

I like how nuanced they made Walker, though I wish some of that complexity was given to the Flag Smashers as well, they were definitely not as well fleshed or rounded out as they should have been. I'd have liked it if at least one of them turned on Karly when she said they'd just kill the hostages.

I really like Sam's Captain America costume it strikes a great impression and the way he uses his wings is really impressive. Love how he used the wings to help stand his ground and the Redwings were awfully handy. He's like a good blend of his old Falcon mantel Captain America and Ironman, which I'm down for. Sam definitely has the heart for the role of Captain America.

Not going to lie, I'm not really thrilled with the whole Sharron is the Power Broker thing. It does make sense, but it also kinda feels so out of character for her. I still think she might not be the real Sharron, but we shall see. I really want her to be Mystique, but that's just me wanting my favorite Villain to finally be part of the MCU.

While I really like the sentiment of what Sam did for Isiah, I don't think that's something you should surprise someone with. Isiah might have not wanted his story out there like that. Still it is an important story to tell, so I get why Sam would want it included.

I'm looking forward to seeing Sam as Cap in a future movie and hope we get a second season. Bucky still needs a new code name if he's going to say he's no longer the Winter Soldier

I kind of enjoyed the finale.

I was pleasantly surprised the Karli died. I thought it would be a lame change of heart near the end because she was misguided and stuff. Well, no. She went full ideological till the end and paid the price.

Happy also that Walker got his redemption arc fulfilled. He really is a great character that has more to offer than his arrogant smile first suggests.

I have some mixed feelings however with Sam speech though. I enjoyed the fact that he is trying to find a midleground by not antagonizing anyone. He is indeed asking the good questions. But the "just try to do better" part didn't worked on me. Not only did it felt artificial, it was the lecturing I was a bit afraid of. Point out what's wrong while not proposing any solution is a bit easy in my opinion.

The resolution with Isaiah was great though. Very emotional and all. Good stuff there.
