It's Disney we are talking about. They are always taking about how some characters are secretely gays in the interviews, but nothing happens on screen. They are afraid to take narrative risks and that's why in my opinion everything they do feel so empty these days.
Then if i am wrong and Bucky turns out bi, I will gladely swallow my words.
Note that I still have to watch episode 1. XD

I am usually not a big fan of bringing politics into a show as it often falls flat as some poorly articulated propaganda/lecturing that never serves the actual story. BUT if there is one show that should tackle this issue, it's this one. The racial topic definitely fits the narrative here, so they should go for it without hesitation.

Oh wow, wasn't expecting it to get quite this dark. There's still a lot of things left unanswered, but I guess we'll get answers to it in the next few episodes.

Seems like Sam isn't going to have the shield until the last episode, I assume he'll reclaim it in the next episode.

Walker seemed completely unhinged and on edge this episode, everything that went wrong did so because of him. I'm surprised that his friend didn't seem to see that and encouraged someone that was already not quite there to take the super soldier serum, guess if it's your friend you're less likely to see the faults. It's a shame Lemar died, was expecting him to be a contrast to Walker as someone that doesn't go over the edge despite his friend going head first. Though I guess Lemar dying, was the perfect catalyst to push Walker to killing someone in cold blood.

It's sad that it seems that Bucky's ties to Wakanda have been damaged on this mission. I kind of hope it's still mendable because I would like to see more of it, especially with him having the moniker of White Wolf.

Sharon remains an enigma, she doesn't seem to be working with the flags mashers or the powerbroker, at least not obviously. Last week I got the impression she might have tipped of Karli, but it didn't seem that way in todays episode.

In retrospect, it was good that WandaVision was released before The Falcon and the Winter Soldier because the latter is leaving such a stronger impression. This show makes reminds me of all the reasons why I enjoyed the Marvel Netflix series.

This show keeps surprising me with how forward it's tackling things, no wonder there are some people losing their minds, calling it BLM propaganda for reflecting reality as blatantly as it has.

This episode started differently than expected. I really didn't think Sam and Bucky would retrieve the shield before Walker was taken away. Honestly I'm really surprised that Walker actually was held accountable.

Everyone seems to be saying that Sharon is the Power Broker, but I once again have the feeling she's working with the Flag Smashers. Though I guess the two aren't mutually exclusive at this point. Still I am confused by her drastic change in character, especially considering she was snapped so hasn't really had that much time for this kind of drastic change (unless being snapped gets retconned). Honestly at this point I feel like it's more likely she's Mystique or a Skrull than actually Sharon.

I really enjoyed seeing Bucky and Sam grow closer and finally let their macho walls down. I think the two would make for good friends and honestly only benefit from each other's company.
Seeing Bucky take a liking to Sam's sister was also a lot of fun.

I'm lucking forward to seeing Sam in a new Cap costume and how he'll handle the situation.

I just watched the first five episodes this weekend. I tend to be very nervous when big studios attempt to address political issues as I feel that I am most of the time being lectured rather than entertained.

Well I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw. Not only do they take risks by tackling super sensitive issues, they even managed to do it in a way that makes us think and see everyone point of view organically.
I personally like that they are showing that going extreme in your positions usually ends up in violence, whatever your political believe is and it's a great attempt to depict the world as it is, which is complicated.

Anthony Mackie is doing a great job showing the internal conflicts he is having. Bucky is great although I feel they tend to use him as the funny sidekick sometimes which goes in contradiction with his past. Even the new cap is having a real moral dilemma that makes him much more than a mean antagonist.
And I like so much the fact they are dealing with the economical repercussions of the blip. This is what I wanted to see, consequences! Marvel really shines when they have the time to develop their stories, compared to the movies who need to go straight to the point.

Anyone kinda find it funny that the dark/racial undertones are brought up front? I mean this is Disney we’re talking about...

So, I’ve rewatched the episodes and the one thing that still annoys me is how the show went from super awesome rescue mission to finding out and dealing with a new cult ran by kids who seem to be misguided extremists. Like the first scene of the first episode was soooo good. I want more intense action scenes. Not gunna lie it went from amazing to kinda meh
