YOU'RE BOTH IN!
I honestly really love Cars. I think a lot of it had to do with how much I didn't like Happy Feet in comparison. See, first I saw HF and thought it went from cute to boring to downright weird, and then it beat Cars for "Best Animated Feature." I thought, "Okay, let's see what Cars was like." And when I saw it, all I could think was, "See, that was GOOD, because it did what it was supposed to do: it entertained me!!"
Still, a lot of people don't like Cars compared to the others, and I think it was because they were expecting something deeper, and the plot felt too conventional. But I thought the simplistic plot contributed to the overall theme of the story: sometimes it's good to just slow down and enjoy life for what it is.
WELCOME, NEW MEMBERS!
Sorry, I was away from KHI for a few days, but now I'm adding you all in!
So Danica, have you seen Toy Story 3 yet?? (And I really want to see that Toy Story fanfic when you're done!)
If they made anything beyond the ending, would it hinder it? Or would you be willing to see just at least a little and or one more of it?
It's my favorite Disney/Pixar at the moment as well...although I was crying a bit. I'm sad I didn't bawl as much at the end but oh well...maybe when I see it again on DVD, I might. Sometimes it takes me days to react. XD
Also watched Finding Nemo yesterday, it was great watching it but I didn't laugh as much as I did the first time which I found odd especially Dory's Whale-calling scene which was a scene I love very much. :/
EDIT: I found this on Tumblr. :3

I think the ending was so perfect that another movie would mess it up. I would love to see more of Bonnie's toys and everyone else but I really feel as though that would take away the effect of the ending.
lol Wall-e was my favorite Pixar movie until I saw TS3. I don't know why, but it seems to always get to me which doesn't even happen with Up, although I absolutely adore Up to death (It managed to get my Grandpa to cry and he is the emotional equivalent of a rock). Plus, that scene when Wall-e and EvE were in space was absolutely breath taking to me. I need to watch Finding Nemo again though.
Spoiler Show
XD. Yea.That didn't blow my mind; I've known that for quite some time. XD
I have never understood the hype for Ratatouille. Seriously. I saw it and it was...cute. I guess. A rat that cooks. Aw. But people are like OH MY GOD IT'S SO AMAZING and I'm like ._. really? My friend actually like...bought a pet rat because of that movie. x_x It was kinda gross, not gonna lie. And it smelled.
Monsters, Inc. is severly underrated, if you ask me.
Hey Organization_42, I think I have my first chapter of my fanfiction up! But I won't post it on here. :/
I was wondering if you'd like to read it and see if it's worthy.
