The wait is over! For all those who missed the festivities at the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix launch event at Walt Disney Studios, you can finally check out the special footage recorded at the event, featuring the musical performance by the Video Game Orchestra's Livan and Composer Yoko Shimomura, learning about Director Tetsuya Nomura's favorite scenes, and the fans' reaction at seeing the exclusive Kingdom Hearts 3 footage!

Too much effort, would rather watch those reacting to and enjoying the footage.
Wish I actually got a ticket for the event. I would have ditched classes that day just to see Yoko. T_T

Woooow, I was waiting for this to get posted, thanks so much for posting it. Sometimes when I'm sitting I just remember the excitement and screaming filling up inside me and everyone else when they announced Yoko, and then Tetsuya was there. Really awesome that I can pretty much relive it now because of this video.
I remember literally breaking down in tears when Missing You/Namine played... I will never forget that moment, and sometimes it just keeps me going when I keep in mind that my hard work is what allowed me to make the trip down there to Burbank in the first place. If I hadn't been working my job, and overcoming my shyness to ask for help to get there, I wouldn't have been able to afford the 98$ train/bus trip down!!!
I`m having a wide grin plastered all over my face. I started to shake from excitement a little bit during the video, and I can`t imagine how awesome it was to be there. Seeing Yoko(she looked so happy) and Nomuras reaction to the audiences applause were so heartwarming.
Little sad that the KH3 footage isn´t shown, but oh well. Well get something this year.
Yoko is the cutest person ever.

I've been told repeatedly how you could really feel the energy in the room when you were there, but it's been hard to second hand envision it until now. Even these brief glimpses show just how high that energy was. Everyone looks elated!
It was a good video, but I couldn't help thinking "Please, please just turn the camera around so I can see the secret video!" o_O *sigh*
I can`t express enough how beautiful one of the´scene is: When Nomura comes to stages, piano version of Kairi starts to play, and in the back Terranort is looking to the distance. Amazing.
This event was truly wonderful. I'm glad I got the opportunity to go and meet many people. Those who were involved in Kingdom Hearts, other staff from other sites, passionate Kingdom Hearts fans, etc. It was awesome how many people got along with each other. It's a little embarrassing seeing myself in that video lol.
Chronologically, the Kingdom Hearts III footage went in this order:
| 1. New Heartless sketches and models were shown. |
2. Demonstration of Keyblade Transformations. The guns, cannon, and then new Keyblade were shown in this order. |
| 3. Concept art for Cable Town was shown here. |
4. Sora was shown in a study walking towards a window. |
| 5. More news about KINGDOM HEARTS coming in 2015. |
I do think it was a really dick move of Square Enix to show footage of "Kingdom Hearts III" popping up on the screen but then focusing on the reactions. The rest of it was really nice, but that last part just terrible of them, really.
I can understand why everyone is mad they didn't show the KH3 footage. But when they released the UK Launch Event recap video weeks ago, they didn't show it then either, so I didn't expect to see it shown in this one too.
Still...did bring back a ton of memories of being at the UK one from watching this.

I wonder how that guy feels about his glasses being used to try to see what was in the trailer, lol.
That people even go all the length to zoom in on glasses of people just for this leaves me honestly somewhat headscratching.

's drawings capture the essence of the material much better than any blurred reflection in some glasses in this video, seriously people, it's only some glimpses of unfinished beta-footage of a video game...<__<

That's really a riot that there are people using reflections from people's glasses to get hints about the game, but I guess you gotta work with what you're given!

Yep! This is right before we pass through the arched doorway into the study; you can see the sides of the arch and the light from the window in the center.

KH3 is the most gorgeous game I have ever witnessed, CONFIRMED

You had to have been selected to receive a ticket or have been lucky to get one from the Eventbrite page SE made for it.
As for finding out, visit our our website regularly and you'll never miss any big KH news~

God, it must've been one heck of an event. Sometimes it hurts not being able to casually traverse the country end-to-end.
Wow! I just watched the video, that looked like a really fun day to be there. Some people got pretty lucky they were able to attend the event. That is my kind of event!The part where a pianist played some songs, I heard Sora's theme, then Yoko Shimomura walked out, that was so sweet! She even got to show us a bit of her own piano skills.
Then the second surprise where the KH director Nomura himself made an unexpected appearance, that is just awesome! He came out looking like a legend, haha. I loved the audiences' reactions, I'd be excited, too.
The third surprise had to just be AMAZING for those people though, and that is where I can't help feeling jealous! Nomura's departing gift being a special never-before-seen footage trailer of KH III, AWESOME! I thought the audience looked pretty stunned as well. I know I would've been. I'll bet Nomura stood back stage in the dark background to watch the fans' live reactions.
Heehee, I was looking at some of the fans' eye glasses as they stared at the trailer on the screen, trying to make out the picture which was slightly reflecting on them. But all I could see was green...maybe it was a new World or the main hero's new shamrock attire. Haha! I seriously doubt it, green is NOT Sora's best color.
I think it's nice for such an event to have been held in NA for once though.
Hopefully such a day will come when we also get to see the new footage that was shown off there. LUCKY FANS! :o (Maybe if I use a magnifying glass I might be able to make out the reversed images in the fans glasses...hmm?)

It would have been cool to his face on the recap video, since they showed the part were they say it is a surprise to him(it would have been logical at least in my opinion). Also a good opportunity to see Nomura`s glasses! :D Somehow I can´t imagine him wearing glasses.
