The patch for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX is set to go live in a few hours and thanks to Aibo, and Zephyr for translating, the patch notes for some of the updates have been revealed. It is unknown if this is the extend of the update or if there will be more involved, e.g. bug fixes.
For Kingdom Hearts, all event scenes can be played in Theater Mode.

Additional cut scenes for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. In Theater Mode, you can select the Chapter "Day 357: Tears". It draws on the last battle action scene; please enjoy it.

Seeing the fight with Xion is going to be great! It should have been there to begin with, but i'll take this over nothing. Though I do wish that we got a new cutscene that connects to KH3 in some way.

It's unknown if there's more to the patch as of now. These translations were available via two separate Playstation pages so they might be giving fans the opportunity to choose what patches they want to download (like how Lego Dimensions lets you choose if you want to download additional patch levels).

So, I'm not an expert on these things, but why is the theater mode patch 10GB?
Are they crazy??? 10GB for KH1? The whole collection was 20 on the PS3. You are essentially downloading the whole game!!
There must be something more.
I'm glad the downloads are separate. It also sounds like the Theater Mode cutscenes are repackaged with the full game.

I never played the original 358/2 Days. Is this new or old content? It's such a crucial point to the ending...I'm shocked this wasn't included when 1.5+2.5 initially released.

I mean, it's old content but new at the same time? I'm guessing the cutscene will show Roxas fighting against Xion's various forms, so if that's the case, the cutscene is new.
Downloaded the dlc but the scene is the exact same. Maybe they're releasing a patch later that will activate it? Either way, this was my first time going back into watching 358/2 Days since I played 1.5 four years ago and oh my god it's so subpar. Just comparing the scenes to that of the remastered KH1 and KH2 and the edges are horribly done, no crispness whatsoever. The texture on the Twilight Town clock tower even starts jittering during the Tears scene! It might not have looked as bad years ago but it's an eyesore nowadays and I remember why I was so uninterested to watch it again for the new collection.

Really? It's not at the bottom of the cutscene list or anything? Maybe when the patch goes live soon or whenever today, that's when it'll be added? It's weird it's not there after downloading the dlc.

So why do we care about this? I mean, if S-E actually cared to fix the actual issues with the game then that would be one thing, but they continue to flip everyone the bird and not fix stuff that has been pointed out thousands of times already. S-E doesn't care about of us because we continue to buy their crap. Unless we stand up and make one of their game sell incredibly poorly then they will continue to put the least amount of work into every game they release that they can get away with.

"making one of their games sell poorly" is an incredibly stupid idea for a solution-- constructive but firm feedback has always been and will always be our lingua franca. 0.2's initial rebalance edit is evidence of that.

So far the actual patch hasn't released. It's extremely late which is baffling since they gave a time for the patch to go live. The patch might actually fix the bugs and glitches that are still present, but we won't know until it's all clear

I translated this tweet, and it turned out that the delivery of the patch along with the additional content was delayed due to a server error.
I know this may be petty for me to ask, but I would love a Lion King world visit in Birth by Sleep as free dlc (I felt as though this could have been a thing in the original game but wasn't due to PSP hardware).
The plot can be Terra serving Scar and battling against Mufasa, Ventus adventuring with a young Simba and Nala outside the Pride Lands, and Aqua helping Mufasa rid the Unversed.
I just watched the new scene, and I really like it! The best scene in all of Days, simply because of the fighting. Really good.

Thank yyyyooooouuuuu! My gosh IT WAS SO GOOD! They kept Xion's distorted voice which I loved in the original fight. It was also cool to see Roxas use his abilities like glide during the fight. And the way how the floor panels shatter at the end, brilliant! I wish a bit they had integrated the battle quotes too, but I really liked what they did even without having them.

That was pretty cool, I just wish the whole movie matched it in quality.
Finally! It was always so weird without the fight (Xion: "I'm Here! I'm dead for some reason!") and it's so nice to see Xion's final form. Too bad they're just using grunts. Would have been nice to hear one of Xion's old battle quotes (and her voice is distorted anyway, so an old DS voice clip probably wouldn't have sounded too odd.) But in the end I'm still pleased.

I think that's because KH1 and KH2 scenes are rendered in engine (with a few exceptions) while the preexisting scenes from Days are prerendered and were lifted straight from the DS game and upscaled like with Re:COM. wish they would have put in that extra little bit of effort and rendered all the scene in the same quality at least

Wow. I wish they had a PS3 version of that CS but I'm glad they fixed so many bugs. Makes me happy, since I know my PS3 won't last forever. ^^ (As people know, I don't want to buy those games again, don't see a reason to unless my PS3 gives up the ghost.)
If I can get friends to go for KH, I can now recommend this collection with a light heart. ^^

Seems they have a problem with spaghetti code, and this might be the same problem lol. Ya swat 1 bug, and 5 more pop up. Seems to be like cockroaches in that respect..
The added cutscene/theatre mode are not yet available in the UK (and I'm assuming other PAL territories) :(

When he goes to teleport to the middle of the floor, the effects are still there but Marluxia just randomly teleports to somewhere else, I.e, next to Sora or all the way on the other side of the field. I mean, it's not too bad. You could probably still beat him but it's very annoying when you have those three death holes and Marluxia's suddenly beside you hitting you into them. :/

That kinda is bad. If it's random and there's no way to predict where he'll warp I guess the only way to be safe is to reflect everytime. Sounds like a pain. It's sometimes hard to not get pushed into the holes even when you know where he's coming from and with what attack.

It doesn't seem entirely random; from testing the glitch out earlier, it seems like he just travels double the distance he's supposed to from the direction he started. Say, he was a little off from the middle of the arena when he went to teleport to the middle, he'd end up on the opposite side.
On a side note, has anyone in PAL territories been able to download the Additional Scenes and Theater Mode yet? I've been peeking in on occasion all day, but they aren't there. And the ones from the US Store don't install as part of ours.
Glad I waited until now to say anything. I was on the verge of carpet bombing Japan last night with how pissed I was.
Everything I showed in my video (except KH1's horrendous audio issues) was fixed, as well as a few others I didn't show.

Everything with a magnet effect is significantly slower, Marluxia's death pool move is broken, and the Warp Snipe RC is basically the new TR Tower RC.
Just get 1 or 2 people to test your game, Square, it's not that hard.
With Days being my first Kh, I have to say it looks rather amazing! It feels so good to be able to see Xions armor finally updated to HD. That being said, LOL at Roxas only having to hit her twice, meanwhile I had to hit her like a million times

It should be available to you right from the start if it was properly installed. I got the collection for my birthday recently and the theater mode along with every cutscene was available for me the moment it was installed, and I hadn't even gotten off the Destiny Islands yet on my save file. Check your downloads and data for the game just to be sure it was actually downloaded.

So unlike the other games, all the cutscenes are availible in theater mode. Even if you didn't unlock deep dive
