Dang that Beauty and the Beast medal sounds better than Illustrated Kairi.
Wow this update is amazing! I can't believe how good the illustrated Beast and Belle medal is. And it seems they're going to do the same thing they did with Minnie and daisy bu giving 8 medals total over 2 weeks. In that case, it's even better! It's actually reasonable to have a guilted tier 5 medal and it's an amazing one at that!
The illustrated BaB has 5 cost though. Isn't that too high?
I was already planning to unlock the VIP quests for a week, and this just about seals it. Not sure if I want to pay up $30 for guilt though...
Hot damn this is a nice update. Ill B&B is a sweet medal, Xaldin can do more damage than Marluxia A if fully Guilted (which few can do atm, because screw those Lv400 Magic foes with obscene HP levels seriously WHY!? At least Brooms are coming in the future, so I can Guilt him a month or so from now, and we might have the SP Cost and AB Skills by that point, which would make Xaldin B a cinch for my Divine Rose setup), and free Jewel quests. Pretty dang good.
Ill B&B is basically Sebastian 2.0. 5 cost instead of 6, +3 Gen Str, removes enemy buffs, AoE, and a good damage multiplier to boot. I gave my spare SP Cost 1 Skill to this one and I do not regret it. Gonna be even better next week when I can Guilt it, since with Tier 5 80 is the minimum and 150% is the max, meaning it can deal some really good damage. Straight upgrade to my TT+30 setup, so much worth it. Removing enemy defense buffs is amazing, especially for higher level foes. Still can't beat the 410 Speed quest yet, but I'll keep trying through the week. I have a better shot now, and next week at least I should get much farther. I want that Sun Stone.

On its own yeah, it's rather high. Pair it with an SP Attack Gauge skill though to lower the cost to 2 or even 1 SP and it's amazing

Xaldin B's last mission is straight-up impossible for me. I am saddened by this. The rest of the event was either a breeze or very close to it. Then when they make me think I've got it, they throw that mob at me that's level 400 with bars in the yellow, and it has to be cleared in one turn. I don't stand a chance. I don't even know what would give me the chance, I'm not even sure guilted Marluxia B would take out this mob in one turn.

Yes, but if you don't have an SP Attack Gauge skill medal, it is prohibitive to use. And that skill medal isn't laying around for the taking, ya know. I mean, that is one rare medal.
You can get one or two from the current avatar boards.
I wish I could have that medal. It would get me further in Coliseum, since right now my issue is that I can't activate all of my medals with Belle to decrease the defense of the bee. If I had this medal, it would take care of both in one. I wish VIP packs were cheap.

Anyone can make a educated guess when the next SP 0 skill will roll around? I never invested in that skill. And 2,5k Jewels right now is pretty expensive when those boards usually costing 1,5k Jewels.

SP0 does not exist. "No Cost" does, but it is an RNG skill. It does not active all of the time.

Square Enix shoot themselves on the foot by being too greedy if it was $15.00 for the guilted medal I'll buy it but $30.00 for gulited or $15.00 for an unguilted medeal is too much

Yeah. Only downside is that even though they have a 100% trigger rate, you still need to have the regular amount of gauges available. I hate that. Other than that, SP Gauge I / II is amazing. <3

Meh, not really. Only if chu don't need heals but chu need to erase a enemy's buffs... in other words, pretty rarely, and that 2+ sp cost makes it something chu would only want to use if chu need to. However, if chu paired this medal with Illustrated Kairi 2 to make up for the extra sp loss and heals, it would make a great medal.
Love the happi coat too. ^_^ Didn't think we'd get Japanese stuff, but I guess Square doesn't want to waste assets, lol. Whatevs, ish nice to have either way. I actually wore a Happi Coat too before, idk where... I think it was Bon Festival in Hawaii... most likely. XD
Belle & Beast could be amazing in certain situations. Plus, if you guilt it, it would be very powerful. Buffers don't typically have even half decent multipliers. This one is Like 2.29 (it's either that or 2.59 I forget) or something. And then its Tier 5.
This medal would ensure I clear the coliseum level I'm on, since I can not make it work with Ariel & Flounder AND Belle (one of the enemies has a defense buff). Throw my SP Gauge 1 on Belle & Beast and it'd be a done deal.
It's a good medal. But $15 to get it at all, and $30 to get to guilt it. Ouch. SENA needs to make those prices reasonable.
I normally don't pay for VIP. Once I saw the Illustrated Beauty & the Beast medal. I felt like it would be a life-changer for me. I also bought the current avatar boards to obtain the SP Guage 1 medal. I have to say this medal changed my gameplay dramatically. I wonder what SENA plans for the Anniversary.
How do we trigger the Raidboss from the Happi Event? My party managed to do it once, but after that nothing. I just triggered a Raidboss from the Happi event, but it turned into a Behemoth. Is there some stage or another event or something?

Yup, he can give MVP/Host around 8400 Event coins, so you can complete everything when you beat him twice.

O, I think you can trigger him through the regular Omega spawn method. Mission 57, 57, 10 and then instead of 160 (for the Omega Behemoth) the event missions. The event mission has less heartless then the regular missions though, so it might take a few more runs through the event missions. Just managed to spawn the Adventurer.

I just did it on first try. I didn't extensively test it though. I probably got lucky then <.<

Wow, I totally forgot those existed.
So I decided to try it with perks. Went 10, 57, 57, but before I could get to the mission I wanted, a Guard Armor spawned. Weird... so I tried again, it happend again. So now I removed my perks, went 57, 57, 10, final event mission twice. Another Adventurer spawned.
So it might be because you used perks that it didn't work. They decrease the amount of heartless needed to defeat I guess, and this method relies on 80ish. Also, you need to have spawned at least 5 normal bosses since the beginning of this month before you can spawn Omega's. So try it without perks and see if that works. Worked for me. Also, you cannot spawn two Adventurers immediately after each other. Another boss (regular or Omega) has to be in between, but I'm sure you know this rule.

It also depends on if you want to have a guilted Xaldin. I don't know how your deck looks so I don't know if you will use him.

Well, since Marluxia B is AoE I'd say it's still a better medal in many situations than Xaldin B. So yes, do guilt Marluxia B, it's an amazing medal if you give it a good slot. Mine has 2.90 boost from Divine Rose and with Attack Boost 2 max it just kills everything, wipes the stages clean even with high level enemies.

I dunno man. Just did it a third time, I'm positive it works. After the second I went mission 57, 57, 10, 160. Spawned a regular Behemoth, killed it, went 57, 57, 10, Advanced Event Mission twice, spawned a lvl 3 Adventurer. No perks.

I've heard, and more importantly tested, and Marly B is not that great for this event.
My strongest setups so far have gotten the mob down to about 2 / 3 bars of green health. I'm hoping someone can friend me that has KA3 (with ABIII), so I can complete the event. ;A;

Agreed. I'm not sad that I have to miss out on getting Xaldin B guilted. Marluxia B is a way better medal. Even if he wouldn't help you beat the XIII quest, Xaldin B isn't as useful anyway. Especially since SE has been making so many Organization 13 B medals Single Reverse Speed.
I wish my Marluxia B could be guilted... But I'm very happy that my Tama is now guilted. The Divine Rose is starting to become relevant for me now.

Only the whales or those who have plunked loads of money in guilting Premium medals will be able to snag the final 13 mission for Xaldin. So cruel, really. I'm more a "Cheap to Play" and I couldn't beat that last mission. I saw Pigginatti (on You Tube) just blow right through everything like a breeze. He is a major whale.
So, hopefully, you can at least get six Xaldins and then use M&B if you really want to use him.

YouTube has made stars of some gamers, where playing games is their career...their job. Sweet, huh! While I understand funding someone in order to get entertainment and also get tips on how to play the game, but a F2P or even C2P player won't get anything from watching the whales. Could be just a fun community type thing too, but I sure wish I could get in on getting paid to play KHUx all day and every day. I dunno, I say bravo to anyone who can do it.

I wondered about him. He plays the game an insane amount of time. He's constantly streaming. I was always wondering "Doesn't he ever have a job to go to?". I knew that people donate money to him, but I didn't think it was that much.
As far as being a whale goes, though, I don't think that he is at the top of the list. TheAaroniousOne is the biggest whale I know of. He gets like all of the premium medals and guilts them. I believe he even has Key Art 1. I could be wrong, I haven't watched him a while. Pigginati, if you watch, has a bunch of premiums, but like none of them are guilted (with the exception of HSC medals, and HD Ursula and Key Art 4 (?) which came three orbed in their pulls.)

There's a pretty big trend nowadays towards watching people play video games rather than playing them themselves, started largely by gamers like Pewdiepie. No matter where you stand on the idea, some people really enjoy it and if both parties benefit (they enjoy watching him play and he enjoys getting money to continue playing), what does my opinion matter?
Something I've read regarding why people enjoy watching, in this case paying, is they're able to vicariously play through the game and partake in the community, but they can avoid all of the frustration of losing or having bad RNG for this game.
Another thing to think of is, while "getting paid to play KHUx all day" might sound fun on the surface, many streamers face health risks trying to pursue their goal of being the next big streamer (like Pewdiepie). Here's an interesting article about it:

I agree, SmellyOctopus doesn't take money from viewers, makes guides that are much more helpful (for both F2P and P2P), and overall seems to have less of an ego and care more for this viewers.
I finally defeated the final Xaldin Boss but Marluxia B, didn't have anything to do with it... I made a pull and got Key art 3 and an additional marluxia A so I could reroll mine and went from 84% to 99% (used mirror for 100%) so I defeated it with this setup
Sebastian no dots (1sp), Key art 3 no dots (AB2 + Lux), Owl 100% (No Skill), Casual Roxas no dots (AB2), Marluxia A 100% (AB3 Max) and a Friend Key art 3 150% (AB3 Max)... Nova 196 and I had to try several times until both AB2 activated so I could defeat the thing... now I have Xaldin B... don't know if I should guilt him or wait to see if anniversary has some kind of event where guilt rates are even better.... don't even know why I wanted Xaldin B was just annoyed at not being able to beat that boss
