On Kingdom Hearts Insider, we strive to provide visitors the latest, most accurate updates on everything Kingdom Hearts. Today, we are proud to announce that we will be covering official updates on the highly popular browser game, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]!

Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] was first revealed on 19 September 2012 during the events of Tokyo Game Show 2012. Here, players may create and customise their very own Keyblade wielder character to their liking and embark on a journey through Disney worlds, meeting familiar characters seen throughout the series. Based on the infamous Keyblade War, the game utilises many RPG-style elements; you as the player will be exploring the worlds, defeating Heartless great and small, and clearing special missions from your higher-up.

Although the game and associated announcements are currently in Japanese, our lovely site staff members have kindly translated the maintenance update notice for everybody's reference. It is hoped that with this translation, players will be able to stay abreast of what currently is taking place in the game, as well as stay informed of events or, for those who are into details, changes in gameplay mechanics.

Without further ado, we present to you our very first translated update notice, done by Kazr10!

Conclusion of 1st Anniversary Event!

The Anniversary Event held from 17th July till 14th August has ended.

Till the maintenance on 21st August, you can still exchange your accumulated Gummi Blocks for the exclusive prizes in the Gummi Trade Shop.

With regards to the unused Gummi Boosters, all of them will be changed into 3 Mog Medals each. The medals will be distributed to your Present Box after today's maintenance



Arrival of 3 Assist Boxes!

After the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 11th September, "Kingdom Assist Box" and "Premium Assist Box" is available for purchase in the shop. Inside them will contain a x4 Boosted SR+ card, and the skill "HP Up IV". Only 1 of each can be purchased during this period.

Also after the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 21st August, "Daily Assist Box" that includes a Boosted SR card is available as well. 1 can be purchased each day up till a maximum of 8.

This completes the Sora, Riku, and Kairi Key Scene set!

New Assist Card Roster

After the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 11th September, new Assist cards can be drawn from the Moogle Shop occasionally found in treasure chests. Ripe Kupo Fruit is to be used for the draw.

※ After the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 11th September, there will be a guarantee 1 x SR whenever you use 3 Ripe Kupo Fruits for the exchange.

※ During this period, new assist cards will come with a boost effect. Strength of the boost depends on the rarity of the card. Boost effect will last till 11th September.

※ Also, all assist cards will have a chance of containing the skill HP Up

※ There will be an increased chance of Moogle appearing from treasure chests after the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 21st August.

Current Event Missions

■ Raid Boss Missions

After the maintenance on 14th August till 24th August, limited Raid Boss missions are held. There will be a set of missions commencing from 14th August after the maintenance, and another set commencing from 18th August.

Exclusive Rewards: 1 x Limited Avatar (Summer Holiday for males, Seaside Salopette for females), Boosted R+ Eric, Boosted SR Flotsam and Jetsam, AP Plus, Card Deck Plus, Orichalcums and SR+ Yen Sids,


■ New Guilt Targets
After the maintenance on 14th August, additional Guilt Targets have been added.
Together with this, a new event mission based on the completion of the Guilt List has been added. As well as Heartless missions based on the Guilt Targets.

Additional Guilt Targets: L20 Wizard, L444 Wizard, Morning Star, L666 High Wizard


■ Trial and Guilt Target Missions
After the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 28th August, Trial missions will be held where there are criteria based on Continue, Turn and Card counts. As well as Heartless kill count and Guilt Help missions.

Exclusive Rewards: Boosted R+ Lea, Boosted R+ Eric, Boosted SR Flotsam and Jetsam, AP Plus, Orichalcums, SR+ Yen Sids, SR Fairy Godmothers, Attack Up V, Counter II, Berserk III, Combo Plus, Reflect Guard, Boosted SR+ Ariel and King Triton

Raid Boss

After the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 28th August, "Fortress Crab" and "Fortress Crab Subspecies" will appear.
※Advantage Keyblade is Olympia till 28th August.

Fortress Crab? A new Heartless!? Yes, please!

Till the maintenance on 28th August, based on the time you spend to defeat a Raid Boss, the appearance of the next Boss will depend on the following:

・Raid Boss defeat within 5 minutes
　→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 5 minutes. Level will be increased by 10. Subspecies Gauge increased by 40%.

・Raid Boss defeat between 5 - 15 minutes
　→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 7 minutes. Level will be increased by 5. Subspecies Gauge increased by 30%.

・Raid Boss defeat between 15 - 30 minutes
　→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 10 minutes. Level will be increased by 1. Subspecies Gauge increased by 20%.

・Raid Boss defeat more than 30 minutes
　→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 10 minutes. Level will be increased by 1. Subspecies Gauge increased by 10%.

・Subspecies Boss defeat within 5 minutes
　→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 5 minutes. Level will be increased by 10. Subspecies Gauge increase by 50%.

・Subspecies Boss defeat between 5 - 15 minutes
　→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 7 minutes. Level will be increased by 5. Subspecies Gauge increase by 40%.

・Subspecies Boss defeat more than 15 minutes
　→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 10 minutes. Level will be increased by 1. Subspecies Gauge increase by 30%.
 
※ Both Fortress Crab and Fortress Crab Subspecies have their own separate levels which will increase individually.
※ Level of the Raid Boss will reset to 1 at 0:00 each day.



LUX Rewards

■ Adjustments have been made on the LUX rate from field Heartless and Raid Boss. LUX value will fall by a factor of 1000, ie. a usual 1000000 LUX earning from a hit on the boss will become 1000.

■ From 18th August till 24th August, exclusive rewards can be earned through the player's individual accumulated LUX.
※ By earning up to 4000000 LUX, you can earn rewards such as Card Medals, Combo Plus, Reflect Guard, Orichalcum, Boosted SR+ Ariel and King Triton, R+ & SR Fairy Godmother, even SR+ Yen Sids!

D'aaw, now. Who doesn't adore this card? And it comes with a boost!

Field Materials Campaign

After the maintenance on 14th August till the maintenance on 28th August, there is a chance to pick up 2-4 materials per try. Also, respawn time of all field materials will be 30 minutes during this period.
