this also serves my biggest gripe with the idea of "BBS Volume 2"; I didn't want those old ass graphics. looks like the egg is on my face now!

There's plenty of egg to go around. I still think the idea of Aqua aimlessly wandering the realm of Darkness another playable installment sounds tedious. BUT, I love Aqua, PS4 graphics, and I'm sure they're going to tie it all in to III, so, bring it on.

lol people are going to be disappointed when it's not everything the original concept video made it seem like it'd be.

I'm excited because not only does this mean worlds like Castle of Dreams in PS4 graphics, but haunted destroyed takes on Disney worlds? Hell yes!

My body is beyond ready for this. Playable BBS Volume 2, holy crap I'm so pumped. I'm still in disbelief.

They even KNEW how bad we wanted BBS Volume 2. In the previous ReMIX trailers, they just listed the games right after each other. But in this one, right after Chi, they paused and go "And..." and then BOOM. BBS VOLUME 2.

They paused for dramatic effect because they KNEW.

Really hoping it will release for the xbox one as well. Not wanting to get a ps4 for one game. Since I planned on just getting kh3 for the xbox one.

Yesssss! So much hype right now. When they brought up DDD HD, I was like alright, seems straightforward enough, Chi came out and then I was like :0. But then they had to hype it even more with the 'And' and then Aqua came put and instantly knew It had to be Volume Two but of course it's called 0.2 but yes, I've always wanted to know what would transpire in a game like that. Square Enix made my day.

BBS Vol.2...wow...thats just awesome.
But im kinda pissed now that its for PS4 only and not for the PS3 too...its most likely because the PS3 cant handle the graphics of BBS Vol.2.

A DDD HD remix was to be expected sooner or later (The X Cutscenes too) ... But WOW! They're actually making BBs V2 ... a lot of people are gonna love this (It's about Aqua after all). I still can't ... *heavy breathing*

Good thing I never had a 3DS to begin with, and I gotta buy a Ps4 for KH3 along the way anyways, god, I love you SE! <3

That's most likely completely on the spot.
They will use BBS 0.2 and Aqua to show off the actual system that will be used in KH III as a sort of inofficial demo, so to speak.

I'm quite curious how they're going to change things so that DDD works on a PS4, and I wonder if this one's going to have any extra goodies in a somewhat Final Mix style, like more superbosses, cutscenes, etc. Oh well, I'm so excited! I never actually expected BbS V2 to actually happen, it just seemed like a lovely fantasy up until now. I really can't wait to see how that turns out, it looks so pretty :3

I hope they really work with the dualshock 4 to unlock the most from it. When you play a game like Tearaway Unfolded which uses every little part of the DS4, you see the potential a lot of games aren't using.

In Tearaway, if you tilt the Dualshock 4 backways you can throw things into the controller to throw back out into the game. The same can be used for KHDDD. When you're next to a barrel you can swipe down on the touch pad and then use the controller to move around to where you'll throw the barrel, then hit R2 to release.

We also have three extra buttons to add to the gameplay as well which is really good.

I woke up to what I can only describe as Christmas for me! My only worry is .2 and how good an Aqua centric game can be. Other than that, I am absolutely stoked at all of the KH info we've been receiving this year.

So they are actually making it ONE movie this time or is that just bad wording?
Personally I think that sounds way better then what they did with Coded and Days, just as long as you can fast forward and reverse like with normal dvd/bluray movies. Thank God I don't need to play that game after all, it was really eating me up inside lol

If you played Zero Point in BBSFM, you'll know playing through the Realm of Darkness is definitely cool enough for more than one playable episode. Zero Point made me crave BBS Vol 2, and if Vol 2 is just another single playable episode, that's totally enough for me. 0.2 isn't going to be an entire 20 hour game. It calls it a playable episode, just like Zero Point.

This is fantastic. Despite loving KH3D, something got in the way and I was never able to finish it, and it was somewhat short. Now that I'm playing through each game again, this should come our at the perfect time. I do hope we get a sort of final mix edition for it, and I cannot wait to play that extra episode of BBS as well. It being on PS4 is just icing on top of the cake. Truly excited for this.

KH HD 2.9 Final Collection, coming soon

This is it, the final lead-up to 3. I'm surprised no one here though is excited at the prospect of a big box set for PS4, specifically for all the collections and not with #3 since you'd have to wait for that release. I never played my PS3 copies just cause I knew there'd be an announcement eventually. If only you could transfer your data!

If anyone is upset about this being for PS4 at least getting this will mean you aren't late to the party for KH3. Plus a pricedrop was just announced.

At this point, I hope any all inclusive KH collection isn't a numbered title. Just make it something simple like "Kingdom Hearts Saga Collection" or "Kingdom Hearts Dark Seeker Collection" and so forth. No more numbers and decimals please. 2.8 is as weird as it needs to get. 1.5 and 2.5 were fine, and the 2.8 + 0.2 thing also makes sense, but pls stahp.

*adjusts my glasses* Well, from what I've read, there's not a real standard way to represent fractions or decimals in roman numerals. Usually, the romans just wrote out the appropriate word, like "tres septimae" to mean 3/7, or used some amount of uncia, which is 1/12, and semis, which is 1/2, but the latter was never standardized. Numerals and decimal points looks really silly, but any other way would look sorta overwhelming, especially since they probably just picked up roman numerals at first to look cool.

Excited to play 3D on a main console! I'm also glad they're including a video with any story-relevant information from chi because I'll probably never play that. The BbS thing is nice, but it just says "episode" which could be as short as the episode they added to BbS Final Mix.

They either do that because they think roman numerals look fancier or because the numbered titles are almost always written with them in official media and this serves to try and underline the importance of the collections to them.

Despite stating concern for the "spread out" of the series, they only lessened it instead of truly getting rid of it.
With x[chi] (both browser and phone version) getting canon too, the spread even got wider again. Which is probably why they include something related to it in 2.8...

The spread is definitly still a problem. It's not as wide spread but it's also not spread in a way that's cheap. Hopefully they'll act like they actually care about the spread and port the old remixes. Don't need no fancy collections or 2.9s, just playable discs on ps4.

That's probably true as well, even more when I consider some of the things posted in some parts of Forum Insanity...ahem.

They do care to some extent or the remixes would not have been made in the first place at all although Nomura never being happy about having the Final Mix content only in Japan might have also had something to do with it.
Well, they could do something similar like with FFX and FFX-2. It's made by the same company and I doubt that Disney would have any objections.

If I have to be completely honest I do not think Square gives a single crap about any of the Microsoft-consoles (all versions of the Xbox flopped heavily in Japan) or the fanbase belonging to them. Any Final Fantasy title on XBox did totally crappy so far on Microsoft systems (in Europe most people also get FF for the Playstation instead of Microsoft), which is why I was genuinely surprised that when KH III was unveiled at E3 2013 they announced that it would also come for XBoxOne and I'm still convinced that it only happens because Microsoft threw a truly sizeable pile of money into Square's coffers.

Tbh at the moment I'm more convinced the remixes was a quick cashcow to tide fans over and an attempt to try and gain back some fans they've lost over time to console spread and lost interest in a series so hard to keep up with. (in our years here we both know more relied on YouTube than wasting money don't have to keep up with this series) (then more lost ones once they realize all the backstory/myth is in interviews)
Hopefully they pitch a port idea to Disney then. Disney is always up for quick cash which ports would give them.
