Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep was one of the most anticipated games from Square Enix in the lead up to 2010. Chronicling the journey of three friends, this prequel to Kingdom Hearts followed Terra, Ventus, and Aqua as they were lead to their fates that shaped the future of Kingdom Hearts.
Brought out in brand new vivid detail, this adventure has been revamped exclusively for the PS3 in Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX-. You can see some of the new details added to the game in the screenshots below.

Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- releases in Japan on October 2nd, with North America getting it December 2nd and December 5th for Europe.

Everything looks gorgeous. Really, truly so. I'm digging the one with Aqua, Stitch, and Gantu. And the one with Master Xehanort, too, of course.

O_O I can see very faint and bluish veins through the skin on MX's bald head that weren't even in BBS+FM, Re:Coded's secret ending and DDD.

Also, is anyone afraid that TGS is just going to feature 2.5 since it's not out yet?

Does anybody else fear the worst from these screens again? I remember being very disappointed when comparing the screens for KH1.5 and the game itself.
I'm hoping since they said they were able to work harder on the graphics this time around due to being used to it that these screens are legit, but I don't know...

While I'm gonna have to agree with 2.5 being featured heavily at TGS since I believe it'll be the last big game convention for Square before release, I gotta disagree about a KH3 absence. It's been in development for a good year n a half now I think we'll see something, whether it be minor or a decent trailer.
Im sure the game will look gorgeous, even with these screens being somewhat compressed. Always hard to tell unless its on a full screen that it'll be running on =p.
It feels kind of strange saying this, but Master Xehanorts head is just beautiful! The hype is killing meeeee! D:

SOON! Really soon there will indeed be HD BBS on a decent sized screen! I am looking forward to the game even if the screenshots are glorified too much from what I get as long as I get to play Terra's file on a large screen!:biggrin:
Sign and Ethy have played BBS and they say the game looks just like the screens.
Still waiting for more info on resolution and framerate. 1080p should be mandatory for a PSP remaster. 60fps would be nice but I doubt they care about hitting that.

Armor is worn near the end of the game and per-the-norm of their usual promotional habits, they don't show screenshots from the end. When they decide to promote the Final Mix materials in these games, they will probably show more screenshots with armor then since a lot of new content for BBS was in the Mirage Arena.
Holy crap Lea's hair looks delicious. I don't know why but I want to eat it. It looks like frosting or something. I'm excited for the BBS portion to not have those longish loading times hopefully.
I'm so looking forward to this game, and 2.5 as a whole. December can not come quick enough. So what if i'm meant to be writing my dissertation at that point.
I have to admit that I'm somewhere in between Tinny and Sdog in that whilst I hope we something from KH3, I'm starting to worry recently that because 2.5 will be so heavily focussed on that we won't see 3 at all.

They're not bringing in capes. They spent time during the Square Enix Presents segment to explain this.
I'll never understand the obsession over the capes. It only makes the LS>Batman comparisons hard to ignore. (especially after Nomura actually drew batman) >_<

I'm just gonna let out a huge sigh of relief that the game looks as advertised. This actually means quite a bit to me. Not that the actual appearance of the game matters as much as the idea of 'lying' does. That just really irked me.
