KINGDOM HEARTS Earphone Jacks Now Available on Square Enix e-STORE!

Earlier this year in January, we reported on some fabulous KINGDOM HEARTS earphone jacks styled after two iconic symbols in the series: Sora's crown and Roxas's X. Now, the two have finally been priced and dated, and made available for purchase through the Square Enix e-STORE!
Each earphone jack will cost 1,200円 (roughly $12.94 USD) and measures 30mm high x 20mm wide. They're made out of Zinc Alloy, with a Zirconia jack piece.
They will be released on May 17, 2013.

I'm no expert in earphone jacks, but I assume that these should fit in anything since they didn't specify.

They are inserted into the headphone jack, so they should be the same size as any headphone port, which means you can plug it into your Xbox controller for all you want lol xD

Don't worry, I actually didn't know originally, they are kind of like plugs for your earphone port. The earphone port is where you plug your headphones into whatever device so that you can listen to the device through the headphones. These jacks are just for flash and to bedazzle your device, they don't really do anything besides look pretty when you aren't using or have headphones plugged into your electronic :) Personally, I'm considering getting one of each and then just plugging them into the LE KH game consoles I have, it'll look nice with the Roxas one plugged into the LE KH DSi and the Sora crown into the LE 3DS (whenever I get it -__-) but besides that...they're pretty pointless <.<

The little thing that you plug into the headphone port. These are decorative ones you can insert into your devices as a cover for the holes when they are not in use.

Those look cool. I would just wonder if it would get annoying with it poking out of the jack. They have some pointy tips and I can just see myself getting jabbed by it. Not that it would really hurt XD

My friend got one a few months ago that wasn't KH and it looks pretty cool if you don't have a cast that naturally covers the headphone port. I would honestly get one and then hope that they eventually make KH covers to have with your KH headphone jack. Then you just need one of those awesome KH wallpapers and it looks awesome!!!!! ^_^ Or you could always bling out anything that has a headphone port, like:
- 3DS
- PSP
- DS
- phone
- Controller
- Computer
- CD player (if you still own one)
Anything that has a headphone port that you see often can be "bedazzled" KH style haha

^ Ditto. The only times I don't have my earphones plugged in are when I'm charging my phone or when they're plugged into something else during work. Though, I won't say no to the crown~ Might consider picking that up.
Yeah I'm always listening to music. I might stick it in my 3DS and trade off between it and my laptop...

They brought special KH headphones for the DDD demos at E3 last year ^_^ They were nice too, let me try to find an image:

Yeah, definitely doesn't look very comfortable. But on the bright side it doesn't look like it'll require an actual piercing (ON YOUR EAR) to wear.
I'd feel like a robot screwing those earrings into my ear but maybe that's just me O_o I never even knew about the earrings to tell you the truth, and I'm kind of glad I didn't. Those are quite the earrings (not in the positive way haha). Also, where'd you get the photo of the packaging Sign? More KH merchandise that SE sends to you guys years in advance!!! O____O jk

These are fab. I kindof want the crown. I'd prefer it for a gaming console, either my 3DS or PSP, but then I would be looking at it upside down. That and I also love to have deafening headphones on.
Maybe one of these days, if I haven't abandoned my iPhone, I'll trick it out.

I also think it's great how small it actually turned out. When samples of these jacks were first revealed, many were concerned with the diamonds embedded into them and how aesthetically unpleasing they are. If they're that small, that shouldn't be an issue anymore in my opinion~
The only problem I have is that IF the crown is that pointy and prickly, if I put it in my pocket I don't want to poke myself everytime I want to reach into my pocket and grab my phone >_<

lol yeah :( With the imminent KHDDD Play Arts figures coming out as well, I've officially resorted to my penny-pinching mode so even $13 is way too much to take out for me.
Perhaps they might be cheaper if they're brought overseas. Japan's pricing is usually expensive until converted accordingly to NA's general pricing.

I honestly can't see them bringing them stateside. They seem to only bring over the main figures line, but rarely anything else. I mean, they WOULD bring over the Formation Arts figures but apparently there is a problem in the US with random boxes that SE can't sell them, so they stick to the Play Arts, Static Arts, and keychains :(
BUT, if they did bring them over, I'd be pleased, why not? They should at least bring them to the conventions they hit every year (SDCC, PAX, NYCC).

The JPY is down and the USD is getting stronger, so I think we'll see it be about the same price or more because of the stronger USD.
