KINGDOM HEARTS 15th Anniversary Feature in Famitsu

The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly has a large feature covering the KINGDOM HEARTS 15th Anniversary.This feature covers the previously released titles and includes a summarized timeline of events spanning through the series.
There are also comments by celebrities who are fans of the series, the voice cast like Risa Uchida (voice of Kairi & Xion), Kouki Uchiyama (Roxas & Ventus), Megumi Toyoguchi (Aqua) and Mamoru Miyano (Riku), and even Masahiro Sakurai (Director of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros.)
Results of a recently conducted fan survey are also shared in this issue, in which fans were asked about their favorites such as favorite title, female characters and boss battle, which aspect of the game they enjoy the most, what Final Fantasy character they'd want to make an appearance, etc.
Series Director Tetsuya Nomura also has a brief message on the anniversary.

Stoked for translations. I also would love to get my hands on a copy of one of these somehow. Anyone know anything about importing Famitsu magazines?
Can't wait for what Masahiro Sakurai has to say about the series! This entire thing has me stoked, maybe Nomura will actually have something to say other than a "please be patient for KHIII news" this time.
Lightning, Noctis, Bartz AND Zidane??? In MY KH3??? It's more likely than you think!
But forreal, that is a cocktease and since I cannot read it, I can only guess it's something unrelated but raising my hopes at these lovable assholes being in KH3.
Unsurprising that Noctis and Lighting are the most wanted FF characters.
The fan survey is pretty easy to figure out, at least.
Zidane and Bartz in KHIII would be a dream come true. It would also be cool to see Noctis and Lighting there too. I am looking forward to finding out what rest of the article says, it looks interesting. I guess most of them are polls about favorite characters.
The Japanese sure love 358/2 Days, Terra and Larxene. I'll be intrigued as to why that's the case...

On a different note, it seems that the "100 years before KH1"-setting for the χ-series is again confirmed here, or did I misinterpret it?

Apparently Nomura has said in this article that the timing for KHIII information is still undecided. I think at this point it really is now whenever Disney of the SE higher ups want it. Maybe the 'winter announcements' have at this point turned into something else which will unveil itself at E3....

Can't say I'm really surprised that Aqua won the female character popularity poll, considering that she's probably had the most screentime/development out of the handful of KH-original female characters next to Xion.

They went with "100年以上" (100 years or more) again, yeah. I'm still doubtful that's really the case, though.

I hope to see these FF characters in KHIII.....particularly Chocobo. The best of the five in my opinion.

Outside of Radiant Garden or Twilight Town would be fine places.
Seeing Zidane on this list makes me really happy, and makes me think Square might now put him in KHIII now. It's something I've always wanted, and it would make me pleased as punch. Also throw Garnet in there, please!=)
Also excited for the idea of Noctis, of course. Because there's no way they can't not do that, right?
The fact that Kairi's third on the female character list (over even Namine and Ava) makes me pray that Square Enix will hopefully develop her now. Hopefully.

Also, the questions about what mysteries people want solved intrigues me. Most of them is about the Master of Masters. Do we know if Square Enix gave them a list they could choose from, or did the survey takers have free reign to say anything there? Because if it's the former, I think that's for sure saying that Nomura's stretching the truth in saying the Master of Masters won't be in KHIII. LOL.

Well the first survey there said that about 500 of them played KH I first while KH II and KH II FM only scored less than 200 first so I don't think that's true
I actually agree with all these FF characters although Light and Zidane would be my top picks.

Technically, Xigbar claims there was another voice, so Mansex COULD have potentially been talking to someone else or Xigbar was full of it.
Seeing as how Xigbar said this when Zexion was still alive, I'm guessing it was either YMX or that scene from 0.2.

I like how 15 ppl didn't answer Q1.
I wish that characters were ranked higher... Like, I'm a freak who likes the Kingdom Hearts story more than anything else about it (I just like putting this jigsaw puzzle together, okay?), but I, of course, see the many flaws in it. And I think a lot of that has to do with character. No matter how good your story might be, if you don't have good characters... no one will care. And likewise, you could have the worst story in the world... but if you have good characters, a lot of people won't care and will happily see themselves through it. And lately (at least for us not knowing more about a persons' past, other than the fact they're a Keyblade wielder and things like that), Nomura's gotten lazier and lazier with it. (But there have been some improvements, too, like Nomura actually adding three new girls into KH Chi, having more original characters finally, etc.)
So I really wish that was ranked higher, so he would maybe get the memo to work on them more--which will make the overall story better, too.
Also, I think I would've said I want to know what Namine is, for the "Mysteries I Want Answered" bit. LOL.
And for those wondering why Days is ranked so high, remember that most people (if they didn't come into the series with 1 or 2) started with Days;)

We posted some translations, Nomura doesn't say anything new about KH3. He asks for our patience
He keeps saying that word. I do not think it means what he thinks it means.
