KH3D Novel Side Riku Cover Revealed!

Now this is something that I've been waiting eagerly for, being a fan of Shiro Amano's artwork for the series! The Square Enix Gamebooks Store just updated with a page for the second KINGDOM HEARTS 3D [Dream Drop Distance] novel: Side Riku! It does however, contain slight spoilers though, so view at your own risk!
Remember, this novel will be available for purchase on September 27th for 800円 (roughly $10.21 USD)!

That cover is so beautiful. I would buy the novel simply for that cover.
The cover is so cute :) That scene in the game was so cute too, the music was the cherry on top to add to the cuteness in the game.

I think Komory Bat carrying Riku is much cooler and cuter than that, it was the same as Faith Line just a different name.

[SPOILER="Spoiler"]When s/he landed on his shoulder in the game (I was actually surprised by the scale of it), I was expecting something along the lines of this cover to take place, to be whisked away Fly-by Knight style.[/SPOILER] It is, indeed, much cooler and cuter depicted here.
The cover art is as beautiful as always~ I wish that some company would translate these novels and release them over here.

He also is shorter in terms of height (in comparison to KH2 obviously) and has different clothes albeit similar. That is big enough of a difference.

3D doesn't take place that long after KH2/Re:Coded so even if they used an older model for Riku it would be the KH2 model anyway. They'd have to real finicky to make an entirely new Riku (and Sora for that matter) model just to show him a few weeks older. I guess it would have been worthwhile to see Riku 1/8 of an inch taller.
