IGN.com Presents 358/2 Days and BBS Footage!

IGN.com has released a video showing small snippets of the new Kingdom Hearts titles 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep in action from the Square Enix party, DKΣ3713. The video is embedded below. Though the clips are small, the gameplay looks great!
I thought I'd also point out that in the footage of Ven fighting Lucifer, he has definitely shrunk not unlike Sora in the Alice in Wonderland world from Kingdom Hearts! Looks like a fun battle.
HIGHER QUALITY SCANS RELEASED
Seems Gamekyo.com has released high quality versions of the scan released a few days prior to the DKΣ3713 event which can be found translated here. Now that we've heard about the trailer and demo impressions, we can put these images in context.

Ven is shown beside the Jaq the mouse in Cinderella's world, Castle of Dreams. It appears he has shrunk to a similar size as the mouse in order to help create Cinderella's dress for the ball! This is a better look at how Ven holds his keyblade! It certainly is a strange angle. The second screenshot shows the new technique known as the Shot Lock System in use. Terra can lock onto multiple enemies and shoot sparks of light out of his keyblade. |

| More views of the Shot Lock System in action. It appears the technique is very similar to the shooting ability Sora has in Kingdom Hearts II when he uses the Wisdom drive form. The major difference being that multiple enemies can be locked on with this new ability. The name of the Shot Lock System attack is called the "Photo Charge". Ven can also use the same technique, but his is called "Star Burst". Players of the Birth by Sleep demo at DKΣ3713 were able to try the technique out first hand. |
