During the campaign period, a set of seven exclusive Minnie & Daisy Special Quests will be unlocked when you purchase the Weekly Jewels Extravaganza (includes 3,000 Jewels and other Special Quests)!
NOTE: The Minnie & Daisy Special Quests are not daily quests, so all seven will be unlocked at the time of purchase.
Complete objectives in these quests to earn a total of four of the new Tier 4 Minnie & Daisy Medals, along with 1,400 Jewels!
The Minnie & Daisy Medal's Special Attack can restore your gauges, so it is sure to be a great help for long battles and raid bosses!

Get ready for one more sweet surprise in this new Raid Event!
Defeat the Spiteful Sweets Raid Boss with your friends and earn Raid Coins to get the Young Sora and Young Riku Medals along with other great rewards!
And at level 30 and for every ten levels after, those who participate in defeating the Spiteful Sweets will be rewarded with a Young Kairi Medal!
There's also a chance of Young Kairi dropping from level 96 and higher Spiteful Sweets!
Work with your party members to increase the level of the Raid Boss and collect all the rewards!

So it has begun, they've brought the VIP Exclusive Event Quests here. Well hell. Not sure where I can fit Minnie and Daisy on my sets, but I'll find a spot, especially as it's Tier 4. That'll be helpful.
Aside from that, jam packed week. Good for those of us not as invested in the HSC, though I wish more Jewel Quests had shown up.

Young SRK, nice! I hope my party will be active, I haven't been playing that much lately but guess it's time to start slaying some raid bosses again. Minnie&Daisy sounds nice, if it was discounted 5€ deal again I'd get it, but not for the full price.

Wouldn't surprise me. Though this time it's more SE and not just SENA, seeing as the JP version has had VIP Exclusive Event Quests in the past themselves. Was only a matter of time before it hit the NA version.

Also, I know it's small, but I'm really not liking how they, for no reason, attached a Cid 3 to the male avatar board but not the girl one. That's rewarding people for playing as a guy and that really does not sit well with me even though I'm happy to finally have Second Chance.
The Young Sora, Riku, and Kairi medals look like situational Christmas Soras. Not really seeing the use in them personally.

They have both boards contain the same number of nodes, so they have to fill the one with the least Avatar Parts with something. It wouldn't be fair no matter how it's done, so at least the filler is a smaller boosting medal.
I've guilted Y Sora, and yeah he seems extremely situational. Boosts SAtk and MDef, costs 3SP, and the stats are lower than 7000 at Lv100. I'm guessing Y Riku is Power/Speed and Y Kairi is Magic/Power? Just hoping Y Kairi has decent stats, considering the number/level of Raid Bosses we'll have to fight. I'm up to Lv23 right now and recharging AP, so we'll see how it goes.

I put it on my Ariel & Flounder, who I know isn't going anywhere anytime soon and is in my keyblades all of the time.
It could be fair if they gave each avatar equal amount of parts. The fact that the extra avatar board parts don't give any benefit at all still makes it unfair.

I'll wait for Ikari2 instead (and use it on that one since I have DBIII on my IKairi), and I got enough for a 10 pull, so not worried.
And yes I mean to work on the event too, tho this week I'm also going to be trying to merge some medals together. ^^

Indeed, I'm going to put my second chance on illustrated Kairi 2 as well. ^_^
This avatar costume was one I really wanted, so I'm really glad we finally got it. Combining this avatar costume with Tinkerbell's fairy wings, and I've got my dream costume for my avatar. :3 Only two things that could make this better; is if they increased the accessory space so I could add in sparkles as well, and made it so chu could pick what skills chu could have on the avatar so I could use this costume all the time. :3 But Tinkerbell's glittery wings make up for it, so yeah, and ish not that big of a deal to switch costumes for skills.
I love that this raid boss is a whole lot easier to beat, especially with it being a power type so I can take it out easily with my strong magic medals. :3

Could really use some jewels to make up for the jewels they've taken away from us this week and stuck behind the paywall.
Seriously, this is a new low for SENA.
If they offered extra jewels quests for people who got the VIP pack (like daily for F2P, daily for VIP, VIP subscribers get both), then I would understand that... But to stick the whole event behind a paywall, no, just no.

Going to assume M&D are akin to RAX in that they function better unmerged / guilted for more rewards. Ugh, the space in my inventory is so crowded though. They need to pull an FFBE and up the "unit" max from 500 to 1k.

It's pretty obvious that they took the daily jewel quest and locked it behind a paywall.
Sure, we were never 'guaranteed' it, but that's just defending them for absolutely no reason. It's clear what they did here. Maybe if their prices were anywhere near reasonable, this wouldn't feel as frustrating.
I'm all for the VIP pack doing what they did here, actually. That gives more benefit to the people paying. However, they should have done a separate daily jewel quest for the rest of us, still.

not every week has a daily jewel quest. i just see this as giving extra incentive to the weekly extravaganza. not really all that different if they had simply went "this week, unlocking the extravaganza gets you 4,400 jewels instead of 3,000!" and didn't have the extra jewels earned through the quest.
It's been calculated that we get them three weeks out of the month. We already missed out on jewel quests one week this month, so this is replacing a week we normally would have had. Presumably it's replacing next week, too. =/
Tell me they don't have to give me anything all you want, but I have spent money on this game in the past, and I like playing it and want to have a chance to pull, and get avatar boards from time to time. If they start locking what used to be weeks of daily jewel quests behind a paywall like this, I'm not going to be happy, and I'm going to voice it.

Well it all depends on whatchu can and can't afford. Also, how far off would chu be from five pulls? Like just 3000 away? I'd go for it, personally. Ish most likely going to be next week or after that Kairi 2 might come. I feel it will be right after the current epic medal carnival ends, just perfect timing to replace with something most people want... so chu will be forced to pay more after chu spent all those jewels.
If chu want to play it safe though, just wait until the last day before the avatar board expires, just in case Kairi 2 appears sooner then expected before chu make chu choice. Then just buy weekly jewels and wait... thash what I did.

Those avatar boards look nice (Second Chance especially), but if I get them it'll put me out of reach for a guaranteed KHII Ill. Kairi if she is released soon and guaranteed after 5 pulls... Major dilemma, since I missed out on Second Chance the first time around. Anyone have any advice?
Personally, I think skills like Second Chance are actually more important than Illustrated KH II Kairi if you don't already have them. I got this avatar board with no second thoughts.
I don't trust SENA with Illustrated KHII Kairi, anymore. We've seen them go back to 10 pulls for Illustrated KHI Kairi, and we've now seen them do no guaranteed pull at all with Key Art 3 and HD Ursula. KHII Kairi is such a big deal and SENA knows it, I can't see them giving it to us in a five pull anymore.

What do you guys recommend doing with all all those extra 5-6* medals that will probably never be useful, guilted or not. Like Phil, Tinkerbell, Aerith KH1, etc.? I'm running out of space (320 capacity) and 1/2 are cluttered with medals I don't use but am holding out on in case​ somehow I guilt them.

Sometimes I really wonder if the so-called "international" version is even playable for those who don't want to or cannot spend actual money on it.
Compared to the JPN version the amount of stuff players can get only if they pay real money in the "international" one is truly astounding and the more I see of it, the more I'm convinced that it is not too much of a bad thing that I cannot play it by myself.

Some stuff gets nerfed, for example the Xigbar quests. It's still tricky to play the NA version without paying, though.
Being given a Young Kairi medal makes sense since that's what was promised. Though a small part of me was hoping it'd be jewels.XD
Fudge, please level the raid boss to 99 so I can easily farm Young Kairis. I can't do this alone.

This point gets thrown around a lot and, while it's undeniable that global must be played smarter than JP, I absolutely refute the idea that global is unbeatable or "unplayable" without spending money.
To date I've spent a total of $5 on the global version and I've beaten every story and most challenge/event quest to date (just not Proud Mode). It's just a matter of saving jewels and playing smart, spending them on guaranteed premium medals once I get 30k vs. gambling every time you get to 3k jewels.
Truth be told I haven't even played the 'smartest' that I could have because I'm an Aqua-addict who has only spent jewels to get Aqua medals (having all the Aqua medals has taken priority over beating the game). F2P players who have spent jewels on better medals are even farther.
This isn't an argument targeted towards anyone in particular, just a rebuttal to the general lack of responsibility players have towards this game. Constantly blaming SENA for everything (some things I agree) shows an unwillingness to take responsibility that usually the problem might be one's own poor decision-making skills.

Although, you really have to know *how* to play this game in a very certain particular way to have any chance of succeeding as a F2Per. Every decision you make in this game as a F2P is crucial, and it comes to be incredibly stressing. It's just a video game. It shouldn't have to be this way.

Like any competitive game (Strategy/Fighting/Shooters), you can accomplish the story mode or play with friends, but playing competitively is going to require strategy. Likewise, if you're not improving your rank in competitive games but not taking the time to improve your game (patience), the stress is self-induced.
Also, I've dropped all of my jewels during 3 Medal Deals thus far: Ill Aqua (30k), Ill Xemnas (15k), and WoFF (9k). Only 1 of those (WoFF) was considered a really powerful medal deal, so you don't even have to make every decision right, just 1 out of 3.
Improving your game is going to require changing habits (patience or lack thereof) which might include forgoing certain really good medals or skills because the gamble isn't worth wasting all of those saved jewels if you're not lucky. I forewent the 1st releases of Ill Kairi and Second Chance because I didn't have enough jewels. 4 months later I have Ariel/Flounder and I can get SCx2 from these new avatar boards and still have ~30k left over. No medal yet has broken the JP game (made the game unbeatable without it) so I don't think that'll happen with the global version anytime soon.
So far in this game's history, it has yet to be a bad time to start playing patiently.

I bought 3k jewels once when it only costed 5€ ... since 15€ for the whole thing seems like a rip-off, maybe it's just me. I think you can play if you don't pay but also I have an avatar in the JP version too but barely touch the JP game since I put too much time into my NA game but for new players I don't think I would even recommend the NA version. It's kinda frustrating thinking about how much stuff I get on the JP one without even doing much (medals and jewels basically thrown @ you, the RNG is better too I think but I'm not sure).
On NA it is playable though even without purchasing jewels... you might have to skip on certain avatar boards or medals especially when you reach the end of the quests and the updates take forever but it's not that bad. But then again I'm not really the most strategic or tactical player... sometimes I just scout with 3k jewels because I can't save up more than that cause it bores me to not do anything with my jewels especially beause it takes me some time to save up 3k so saving up more than 3k would take me forever.. and it can be a little tedious but aside from that it's still fun and playable.

I think the biggest single thing they could improve that would actually make a difference to a lot of things would be to increase the daily login bonus. Apparently you get much more in the JP version (900 a week instead of 500 if I remember correctly, do correct me if I'm wrong) and matching that would help a lot. With more jewels to work with, f2p could get more pulls and afford avatar boards. Even saving up to 30k would take a somewhat reasonable time assuming there's also daily jewels quests which even we have been having most of the time now.
Or, alternatively, they could make that 5€ deal a permanent thing. Or at least reoccuring, like maybe once a month or something. I'm pretty sure they'd get even more money that way too, because people like me who will absolutely never pay 15€ for 3k jewels would definitely consider it, most likely even do it every now and then. 15€ is just such a huge sum, it's not a microtransaction at all, that's like half of my food budget for the whole week! Now 5€, that sounds much more reasonable and it's a sum that I can at least begin to think about paying.
So yeah, that would be great. Not sure why they won't do either of them.

This is what I've been trying to say - $15 is NOT a microtransaction. I'm in utter disbelief that this actually got passed through, and then customers were okay with that price.
I could see $5 for a month working... But $15 for a week? That's just absurd. If I pay $15 I should be getting all of those quests unlocked permanently and not have to deal with AP limitations anymore. But I guess I'm just old-fashioned, still stuck back in the days when video games were pay once and you have it all.
Even setting aside that the business has changed, $15 for a single pull and a week of the extra quests is outrageous. A pull shouldn't cost anything but $0.99. That is a microtransaction. That is exactly what will get A TON of people pulling. The money would still add up. More people would be happy. More people would be spending ridiculous amounts of money that they don't even think about, but it would be getting them somewhere.
That's kind of how microtransactions work. I have no idea how this game even works. The point of microtransactions is that they're supposed to lure you in with really small transactions. $15 is such blatant overkill that I can't even begin to describe. For me, that's a whole flipping iTunes gift card. If it were the cost of one song, you could get me... But at the cost for roughly 15 songs... Good grief.

Ya know something? Spiteful Sweets only handing out Young Kairis to the Host and MVP is dumb. And it was during this event I realized that the Host can get MVP, meaning times that I thought I was being cool by leaving very little HP on the boss so it's easier for the others was for nothing.
This does not support teamwork.
