The August Coliseum update has arrived!
This month, those who battle their way through the Coliseum can earn themselves the Buzz Cut avatar parts or the useful ATK Boost IV & Lux+ skill!
Battle your way through the Coliseum to receive these and other great rewards!
You can view the Coliseum Tier Rewards in-game by doing the following:
1. From the Menu, tap on "Quests"
2. Tap on "Coliseum"
3. Tap on "Tier Rewards" on the right
You can view the Ranking Rewards in-game by doing the following:
1. From the Menu, tap on "Quests"
2. Tap on "Coliseum"
3. Tap on "Ranking" on the right
4. Tap on "Rewards" on the bottom right
There are also two Bonus Boards available for those with extra Coliseum Coins!

It's just such a downgrade. We went from AB4MaxGAII to AB4Lux+, even though the Coliseum is usually there for better and stronger skills. Meh.

It definitely is a downgrade. I don't even care about Coliseum this month, that's how useless the skill is for me. I really can't afford to leave that much up to rng, especially when the rng in this game seems to hate me. I mean that's a huge difference, between meh damage that does nothing to help me, and almost x2 the same damage. I'd rather put AB2 max on my medals than plain AB4, at least I'll have a consistently okay medal instead of sometimes good sometimes absolute garbage medal.
I'm not in it for the skills this time. I'm just trying to get into top 100 this month. Secured 256th for July's Coli, which is the first time I've been in the top 1k, let alone the top 300! Plus, there's mirrors up for grabs!

I definitely agree with this. I'm never equipping Skills that aren't max, so this coliseum is kind of ehh for me. Might not participate at all

And also of note, SENA *still* isn't adding Brooms to coliseum. This is getting really frustrating. I was patient with them because I knew that JP didn't do it immediately either, but JP had brooms in their coliseum and avatar boards long before in comparison to when they were first introduced.

Bingo on all counts, Harmonie. Pure malevolence on SENA's part to withold the Brooms from us. I won't support them with my money any longer until they show something other than blatant indifference to this game, or at worse, purposeful maliciousness. I was C2P, but will go F2P for now.

Coli board skills are my intermediate skills. I use them on medals while I determine what skills I ACTUALLY want my medals to have since I have no problem overwriting them. :P Paralysis for er'one!
I only want to be in the top 1000 for this month because I got slighted the last couple times. I fell out of the top 1000 in June at the last moment and had to settle for 1007. And then for July, I was hovering around 300-400 for most of the month, until Kairi 0.2. I couldn't get her until the 31st and didn't have time to undo a week+ of damage from not having her. It will be bittersweet though. I'm not nearly as psyched for this skill. X(
Sigh, my worst fear for this game ish realized; buzz cuts... and on my birth month... SENA must hate me, lol. XD I'm hoping maybe we'll get something magical on my birthday, but not getting my hopes up after this...

Yeah, standard ABIV&Lux+ is a big letdown. I'm hoping that the Max version won't be September's and that instead it'll pop up on an Avatar Board during September (and hopefully ABIVMax&SP1 this month or next) and the DBMax skills (or DBIV, which we still don't have yet IIRC) are up there instead. Sooner we get those and the sooner DBIIIMax exists in JP the better, and getting ABIVMax&Lux+ will be a solid upgrade for my Xaldin B and possibly another medal if released in Board form.
I'm indifferent to the haircut. Nice for helmets, not one I'll use as a main. I do like that the round jumping is increased though, we now go up 9 rounds in Tier 13 instead of 6. Hoping that means Tier 14 is 6 rounds now. Would really like to get farther than last month if for no other reason than to prove I can, and once Sora 3X is guilted it'll be even easier.

Put it quite simply, I like cute girly glittery stuff. Seeing the antithesis of that in a military style buzz cut, on my birth month just really gets to me. XD Had it been on any other month I'd be like whatever, but on my birth month feels almost like a personal insult against what I adore about customization games. It's a complex mental thing, if chu want to sum it up that way, I don't mind I know I'm mental. XD

Look at it this way you can put the haircut on your character in October in support of breast cancer awareness month just dress your charecter in pink and put on the buz cut

Hmmm, it seems okay for me. I'm on tier 14, round 220 and still one-turning everything. I definitely didn't do it with this much ease in July. Arguably, I didn't have double cast Kairi 0.2 and my skills were a little less desirable, but it seems considerably easier nonetheless.
Well, at least there's less competition this time around. But yeah, Coli definitely seems a lot easier and the fact that we skip even more turns is also really nice
I got stuck even earlier than last month. Last month I made it to round 107 of tier 14. This month I'm at like round 86 of tier 14 and already stuck.
I have a killer setup for GDD - HD Namine with Extra Attack, Maleficent Dragon, and then 0.2 Kairi. That brings it out to -7 GDD. The problem are my damage dealing medals. They're tier 3s and just aren't cutting it anymore for that high of coliseum. It really must be nice for those VIP buyers who have guilted Illustrated Halloween Sora and Key Art 9. They could get so far with my setup.
Not trying to rub salt into your wounds, but don't forget KDG^. He's a killer as is and now with AB4Max and SPGAII (and thanks to my other medals +4 PAM, -4PSM and -3GDD, +6GAU), he's just indestructable.
Yeah, the combination of fully guilted KH9 and fully guilted KDG is just very powerful. I won't give KDG ATKB 4 though until it arrives with a max version and Lux+. Because that's how I get all my lux during raid events.
Ahh, yeah, I was a little bit sad that I had to get rid of Lux+... shoot, I should've thought that through and given KA9 the AB4MaxGA2. :/
Yeah i feel like this Coliseum is alot easier im on tier 14 round 5 atm i think. I just sat up all night till i got there, though with kairi its seems liek a bit of a cakewalk well till now lol im Prob stuck now thats its only a 4 round advance.
I was Clearing the Whole thing with my Level 27 3 wishes because i was able to kill all those groups of small red Enemies
0.2 Kairi- nothing
Dragon Maleficent 3 orbed- nothing
Keyart sky 2 orbed- nothing
Illustrated Kh2 Kairi- Max 2 Guages, defense boost 3
Maleficent B- Boosted, Attack boost 3 b 2 gauges, 1000 strength
Maleficent was just tanking all thos small coin purses with 80000 damage at teir 14, but well see how far i can get now with four rounds lol, i may just call it there for the moment

Dang it, now they're adding cats on my birth month... I don't like cats... but bought it anyways, cause of the defense IV definitely! Put it on my 0.2 Kairi. Definitely am not wearing the costume right now, nope not at all. XD
Anyways... things not looking bright for my birth month... though they are giving a magic gem on my birthday from gauntlet, and this power gem came from the Marie costume.... hmm... ish like they want me to max my moogle of glory to have a cool aurora glowing rainbow keyblade. :o And that reverse power and reverse magic slots on moogle just scream to have Xion HD and Xion Ex in them. XD Hmmm... maybe the stuff I've been getting are blessings in disguise... and maybe my birthday will turn out good this time. :o

Anyways, I don't think DB4 is worth it, so this is a pass. DB3 = 80% dmg reduction, DB4= 87.5%… not really worth 2500 Jewels
I swear, if I had a hundred jewels for everytime they released an avatar board that was Aladdin or animal related, I'd have enough to pull for an EX medal.
I know, I'm being silly. Of course a Disney game would have lots of animal stuff, I'm just still bitter those French avatars from White Day (IIRC) haven't come. :(
This is actually a really good deal. Defense is super important. Plus Attack Boost IV Max, and Attack Boost III with SP Gauge 1. There's a lot there. Still, I'm probably going to wait it out on this one. Just because there are too many good medals coming out [strike]that I probably will never pull either way[/strike] and my jewels are still pretty low.
Can't skip a power gem. I don't really care about DB4, but the other 2 skills are great so I'm happy with the deal. I doubt we're getting any mercy pulls anytime soon anyway soo whatever.

Amen! I'm not pulling anymore unless it's a mercy pull, so my jewels are going to avatar boards and worthy VIP. I mean, you can have an album full of premuim medals, all unguilted, and not compete against fully guilted and traited event medals and leveled blades. Nope, gems, skills and guilted medals are what you need. I'm not lured by the fancy banners and EX medals. Only whales can play in that playground.
im pssaing this, defense boost 4 isnt really needed atm for me if it was sp guage 1 was n there was well id do it, esp since i need two for my HPO
Also Defiantheart cheer up sure you got shaved heads and cats but you know what you get Axel B as a medal and who knows how awesome its gonna be because Axel itll prob be a great medal i mean look how uber powerful saix b was
