So, after all the ads, after all the coverage on the news, why don't we have a thread on KHI dedicated to the impending Electoral College yet?
What are everyone's predictions? Personally, I would much prefer for Romney to win. I believe that his fiscal stances are exactly what we need right now. However, I am not going to be in denial here. He has a rough road to the White House; Romney has to win more swing states than Obama does, many of which have polling that is favorable to Obama at the moment. I think that Romney will probably get Florida and my state of North Carolina, but it can go either way in other important states like Virginia or Ohio. If Romney doesn't get both of them, then the election is pretty much over tbh.
Interesting thing though, no Democrat has been elected twice in this country since FDR, with that one exception of Bill Clinton. Wonder if this will remain true. Also, no Republican has lost an election when it has fell on November 6th. Redskins Rule also predicts a Romney win. Doubt that these silly traditions will remain true though
