Just curious, what exactly would happen if MX where to succeed in using the X-Blade to open Kingdom hearts? I know, I know, keyblade war, but what exactly does that mean? Keyblade weilders everywhere will magically show up and start fighting for no apparent reason? Eraqus mentioned something about blanketing the worlds in darkness again when he adressed the topic and that pretty much makes sense to me.
The worlds are sudddenly filled with darkness which leads to people fighting for the precious light once more. One problem: how is that the balance MX claims it creates?
In other words: what will happen if MX were to start another keyblade war?
Is there already an answer or do you guys have any ideas?

But how is that a balance between light and darkness? To me it seems that fighting would cause even more darkness within people's hearts.

In Xehanort Report, he stated if he is the first to open KH's door, he can create a next world which light and darkness are balance.

I always thought that if MX succeeded that keyblade wielders around the KH universe would come, some would side with MX and think he is doing the right thing, other will think he's being a tyrant or something and oppose him, thus massive battles with people swinging giant keys. Janitors will dominate.

Yeah. It happened before. Hence the giant field of fissures, damaged mountains, and crap load of keyblades stuck in the ground...but to be honest I think they exaggerated a little bit...that must have been an ugly war if all of those keyblade wielders were cut down.

The Keyblade wielders' great war over Kingdom Hearts was fought by defenders of the light, servants of darkness, those who sought to reconcile the two, and those motivated by nothing more than lust for power. A whole spectrum of thought was swept into the conflict, and the worlds that did not go to war found the war brought to them. In the end, the whole world was cast into darkness.

That was how the ancient Keyblade War drew to a close. To this day, no one has ever managed to open the door to Kingdom Hearts

Hmm..as in Report, Xehanort stated that no one actually manage to open the door to KH.
So....

The "winner" of the Keyblade War would eventually open Kingdom Hearts and create a new world where Light & Darkness coexist in balance.

Point is, MX is kind of the good guy when you see it that way. He wants balance. To create balance, he must start the world over. Makes sense, right?

^^^In truth I believe that was the original intention of MX but then I think he lied all about having balance inorder to get power.

In the game it starts out as speaking about it as legend but Xehanort shoves proof of it's existence in TAV face (literally) with all those keyblades and the damaged battle ground. Glad i could be of service :3

I just realized something. If the Keyblade War started, a bunch of keyblade weilders would flock to the door of KH to fight for its power. For that to happen, there has to be a bunch of keyblade weilders in the first place. My question is where the fluff are all these weilders when Sora is saving the universe (Twice!) by himself?
