The manga was more in depth like most mangas are to there Animated Counterparts.

The manga wasn't more indepth.
It was completely different.
Different characters, plotline

Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald..
All of those characters are soooo much better than the ones on the show.
Manga pawns any other storyline.
Its alot less kiddy.
And has nothing to do with Ash.

I easily found Puppetmon to be the most tragic character of the first season. He had a bit more depth then the other dark masters. Me and my sister found it especially sad when he went upstairs after TK had made fun of him and said in "I can make a friend" in a hopefull tone.
As for which has the better plot. Well, for me it's Digimon hands down. The fact that the characters evolve throughout the series alone is already one step further than Pokémon.
One thing I really did like about Pokémon's plot is that a few episodes of the first season intertwined with the movie as it was coming out. I was impressed at how well that was put together.

Also, are you reffering to Cherrymon? Puppetmon was getting pretty paranoid up to that point, he just went over the edge, but hey, he's a dark master after all.

Handheld Pokemon games pawn almost all handheld games imo.
They may not have the best plot or gameplay, but I really enjoyed them.

but now Adventures 2 is on DVD the complete season set.
(crud load of money though... I've been trying to find it at least less than 65 bucks >.>)
