Appearance: He is tall and fair skinned with ragged, medium length black hair and blue eyes. He wears a gold ring with an illegible engraving on it. He doesn't know what it says, but he has had the ring for as long as he can remember. He wears a black cloth jacket with a white t-shirt under it. The t-shirt has a swastika on it, not because he is nazi or anything but because of its old meaning of good luck. He wears blue jeans and black shoes with white socks. Now I suck at describing faces, so imagine it however you want, perhaps like Squall or Riku.

Ability: He can toy with a persons consciousness, get inside their head and read their minds, control them or drive them insane. If you can't resist him, he can do whatever the hell he pleases with the dark hollow that was once your mind. If he spends an hour pushing your mind to it's limits and exploring the most primal areas of your soul, he can eventually learn to use your power about 3/4 as well as you do, depending on what it is.

Ability Limits: One with a very strong will may resist the complete obliteration of their consciousness, and the more he uses his power the more corrupted he becomes. It takes a great deal of him to dominate another's will, so he can only do it one one person at once.

Personality: It's certainly rare for someone to really get to know Michael, but when you do he really is a nice guy, if a bit misguided. He sees the world in black and white (figuratively), and he will always take action should he see something as evil. He plans to bring the ones responsible for locking them up down one-by-one and allow the powered ones to take control, overcoming the ones who once imprisoned them. If you try to hurt him or anyone else, don't expect to keep all your limbs intact, much less all the aspects of your mind. Yeah, like I said, he is a bit misguided. Though he hates the ones responsible for this place, he certainly won't be leaving the current threats to this place alone; the red eyed children (if that is truly what they are) will pay dearly for those they have hurt.

Bio: He discovered his abilities as early as four, but the trouble really started three years ago, the day of the vote one whether or not it was constitutional to allow them to be locked up like this without the consent of their parents or guardians. They doubtless would have continued even in it had been ruled to be wrong, but never-mind that. He tried to break into the supreme court, destroying the minds of those he encountered along the way there. When he got in, he tried with all of his energy to command every mind in the room. He came close, but then he suffered a complete mental breakdown, his mind reacting to the stress of controlling all of them. He eventually recovered, but when he had they ruled to keep him in the destiny clan, and his actions had influenced the count to vote that they were dangerous enough to keep away from the humans.

Other: With enough use, the powers that he copies may evolve to be as powerful as the originals.

: Justin "Jump" Ambrose

Age: nineteen

Gender: Male

Appearance: Justin is five feet and ten inches in height. His body type is slim, naturally a blond, yet his eyes are a sinister blue-emerald mix. His nose is rounded, ears attached to his head. The boy's arms are fairly long, and his shoe-size is about a nine in males. His posture is one he takes pride in, his shoulders are broad and straight, when he stands he's definitely a bit pretentious and overwhelming in how he looks.

He favors dark greens, teals, blacks, golds, and whites the most in his attire. Often he wears black hoodies, blue jeans, and an undershirt fitting any of the other colors. Often one will see him lighting up a cigarette as he does smoke.

Ability: Jumping [Teleportation]
Justin posses the ability to move across distances by forming a wormhole or gate within himself, which allows to appear instantaneously anywhere on the planet. When focusing on an object of equal mass, he's only done this once on his roommate which brought him to Justin.
Ability Limits:
Justin hasn't exhibited the ability to move objects several times his own mass via touch. He also has to have a clear image of where he is teleporting or, attempting to 'jump' will not work.
Personality:
A delinquent, there isn't a better term. Justin was already given a hard time by several people that he knew, so he generally can appear stand-offish at a glance but in truth just likes to dissociate other's equilibrium for his own amusement. He's a cunning bastard to say the least, his quirks come at his sharp tongue and though he can appear as if he's acting like he's better than others, he never states that he is so the facade is a bit unsavory.
Bio:
Originally justin was a petty thug, that was involved with a gang known as The Eight Vices, that originated in South Dakota his home state. He came to realize his own powers around age twelve, and moved onto the investment of his talents for The Eight Vices. He was known as the lock, so the "jump" they called him as he kicked off their plans. He ran with the wrong crowd for a few years, but to tell you the truth he'd always been an orphan.

The Eight Vices gave him an opportunity to stand out, though when hearing about an event. In truth this was Justin's first encounter with an investigative police team. Private detectives were acting in cooperation with a local gang to catch the Eight Vices' supernatural construct, Justin was their target.

At the time Justin was eighteen. Upon pulling into the lot to make the transaction with the opposing gang, they also carried a supernatural with them. As Justin took a step, the air seemed to get colder, his breath formed in front of him. "What the.." Justin panicked, unable to make the jump as the eight vices, over the gun fire and making their way back to armored van, Justin was knocked out by one of the moving men from the opposing gang. He later awoke at the police station, where they gave him the option of being shipped to Destiny's Home or to serve time in prison, being tried as an adult as he was eighteen.

Rather than merit this, they had his file, and he wasn't an experienced teleporter yet so he took the best option available. At least there, he could work on his powers, before opting to leave the school without a second thought. Criminal state of mind.

Its been a year now, and he's grown comfortable, prior ambitions he's held them off, for now. Its relaxing just to be here, and pissing people off just seems to be in his blood and daily routine. He loves it.
Other:

  • He likes to be cool and wear finger bands, wrist bands, and a choker.
  • His favorite finger is the middle finger.
  • Justin knows a little kido and jujitsu.
  • Justin also dances and will sometimes carry a boombox with him after 2pm when class ends.

Not promising perfect activity after Tuesday but I'll do what I can.

Name: Calipher (no last name)

Age: 17

Calipher’s hair is of a particular brown-red tone, falling down and accepting gravity, not a single hair moving past his glasses. He would be physically fit, but not possessing the overall bulk that muscle-headed buffoons hold. It isn’t as if punching him in the rectum would be treated as a breeze of air. He is not fragile, but not a slate of steel at all, and could be blown away with the right amount of force inside an attack. He stands at an average 5’11, with lightly, and I mean very, tanned skin. There do not appear to be any evidence of accidents or battles on his body at any time.


His clothing would resemble that of your average student, though it may be darker than the actual norm. Appearing a student is appearing as a harmless young man lost on his way. A long sleeved dark shirt with gold running down from the golden line in the center, right at his collar and heading to the very bottom of his shirt. His pants are ..well, just as dark, and his shoes, you can guess, dark and proper, good for grip. The appearance doesn’t get more simple than this, consult the character model for much else.


Ability:
Shadow Sneak - Calipher is capable of manipulating his own shadow. It is his exact size(not flat, actually taking his mass and mocking it once risen from the ground) and is unable to, in normal conditions, increase in actual size. The shadow itself however, is very elastic, and can stretch itself to great length, losing width in the process of this. It is not invulnerable to elemental strikes, but is capable of resisting them and even having the strike revolve around it, so long as it may maintain itself. Regardless, it would not last forever. The shadow takes commands from Calipher’s very mind, as together they are practically one being that can split in two, letting the subtle part of shadow take place. Another unique quality is that the shadow can be split into pieces, multiple, dangerous pieces than can span across a good distance from Calipher himself, and even stick to a target or ally, giving him the exact location of the enemy without them even feeling a thing.

The lethal factor of his shadow results in any area of it able to form itself into a sharp, piercing spike that can thrust itself into a foe, capable of acting as a finely sharp dagger, it may also be just limp and soft, capable of retrieving items or wrapping around objects and people. The most defining feature would be that its effectiveness increases on dark surfaces, as it is capable of changing tone to fit its surroundings. By no means can it change its color, a shadow will be a shadow after all and will remain some tone of black, but it can change the contrast from darker and lighter. Along with it, it is capable of taking new form, no form can be larger than a human being, this could be animals or something of the like.

Lastly, his shadow grows stronger in few aspects, so long as there are other shadows nearby, helping it extend, build a greater strength. It finds strength among shadows just like it. It can ROB other objects and people of their shadows, even take control of them to use for himself. Without his own shadow, Calipher may make temporary use of another person or object’s shadow for usage, giving him up to three powerful weapons. His main shadow is not affected by light, yet the ones he borrowed can still be eradicated if exposed to a constant powerful ray of it, slowly burning it to nothing.

The shadow can meld with objects and foes, acting as a sentry and a potential weapon. When merging in an area or areas of ones body, it cannot be felt and may only be detected by visual means, not uttering a sound as it creeps up your leg or takes position along your back. At any given notice, it may achieve a physical form and emerge from ones skin, prepared to strangle, snap, break, or stab whatever Calipher wills. Calipher does not need to be conscious, awake, or alive for this shadow to act but cannot decide on its actions other than protecting him, unless told to do so.

Merge - By keeping at least a partial amount of his shadow within him at all times, Calipher is sensitive to shadows and surfaces within a good radius around him, allowing him to better locate targets in a surrounding area that may be hidden or on the move. With his shadow remaining within him, he is capable of moving much better, and is very flexible in turn. His ability to endure attacks involving elements is handled with supernatural ease. He could literally let his hand burn with fire, and can endure it, even send it towards whatever he would like when time allows. By being one with his shadow, Calipher’s line of vision is linked with his shadow, allowing him to see in two areas at once. Since they are one, actions come more fluently, and due to how quick it moves, it increases his own agility. The very best of it actually permits him to become the shadow itself, break him down into a smaller form and reconstruct him elsewhere. While merged he is nearly invulnerable to almost any physical attack seeing as his body adapts itself to the shadow’s abilities.

Without the formal presentation, in short, it would allow him to accomplish everything his shadow is capable of doing and more. Consider the ability to see through blackness with ease one of those abilities.

Inhuman - Calipher isn’t human. Human’s can be frail, easily broken, and serve as rag dolls for many ‘accidents’ that occur through everyday life. Due to his ancestry and his own origin in the realm humans know as ‘Hell’, he isn’t limited to the basic human limitations placed on them. His awareness is supernatural, just as much as his endurance and ability to withstand powerful blows with much more ease than a frail human body could, stabbing and slicing as well, adding an immunity to shock (not surprise, just freaking out in general after losing a limb or something). His strength is extraordinary, but due to putting so much of his potential into his brain, his physical potentials are left nearly unchanged as he doesn‘t waste time in hand-to-hand combat. He is willing to believe his brain power would far exceed any average being in the tactical area, within reason.

His speed is not drastically high, but he is evasive when avoiding strikes is necessary.

Ability Limits: There is no limit to Shadow Sneak, only a limit to how many other shadow's he can really take and the size it can grow on its own. The information is right above.

Personality: Alternatives is definitely a word to associate with Calipher, because he always seems to have one, and finds an opponent with multiple methods to things interesting. He is one to appreciate tactics that have very defining results, such as binding a foe by the neck, and using him as a rag doll to attack a companion, and they could double as a shield as well. Those kinds of alternatives to confrontations are what makes him enjoy it, but the obvious is a very large mood killer. If you have plans, use them. Despite what he is, Calipher finds humanity rather interesting, so prone to weakness and emotional attachments that they so desperately need to feel whole.

While you know what pleases him, what he despises happens to be failure. Sounds like a rather generic crime boss, yes? This goes for even himself. He greatly hates it when a plan doesn’t come through as he hopes. This goes hand in hand with stupidity in both words, and actions, again, even his own. From this, everything else can just be worthy of a palm-to-face. Above all, he is calm and has plenty of insight.
Bio: He is from another world and is merely doing light traveling to know what goes on in the worlds around him. He enrolled as a 'student' but is merely here to observe others.

Other: His mental resistance is high and getting into his mind and thoughts would be difficult. He'll know when someone tries.

Ability: Supernatural Sensitive - From a young age Asahina showed signs of having strange powers. She would see apparitions, and hear voices speaking to her. This is because she has a link to the realm of the dead, among other things unnoticeable to the average person. After accepting her 'gift' she is able to communicate and interact with spirits of all kinds, be they friendly or malignant. Some come and go, some stay with her, either to haunt her or to take solace in her.

Ability Limits: Sometimes in places where a violent death has occurred, or where many are buried, the influence of the dead can overwhelm Asahina. This can put a massive mental strain on her, or if the spirits are violent even cause her physical harm.

Personality: Too darn timid and nice for her own good, Asahina can't stand it if someone thinks of her with negativity or if they are bothered by something. She tends to break down in high pressure situations, because of this; she can be a bit of a pushover and has self-confidence issues. Regardless of this, she still has her own values and sense of mind. The conflict arises when her own morals clash with someone else’s, she tends to fold up and give in to them. When talking with others she does so in a soft voice, and measures each and every word, being careful to not say anything stupid. It wouldn't be too far-fetched to say that Asahina has a bit of growing up to do; because of her low self-esteem she tends to rely on others, not wanting to put pressure on herself.

Bio: Growing up as the youngest child in a family of five, Asahina was often overshadowed by her brother and sister. They were full of charisma and excelled in everything they did, meanwhile she stayed out of the limelight. Her family was not aware of her ability, only certain consequences it brought about. Poltergeists would often land her in trouble, when they weren't abusing her they would break things throwing the blame onto her. At school and at home she became a 'problem child' to those around her. Hearing about the home for the young and troubled her parents decided it was best if she were sent there.

Other:
-Likes soft and cute things, is almost never without her plush Moogle
-Has a wonderful singing voice, though the only ones who have heard it are spirits.
