The Avatar. For centuries the Avatar was the ultimate being. Mastering all four elements of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth, the Avatar protected the people of the world. It wasn’t until the last thousands years that the Avatar fell behind in being the world’s ultimate power. Technology. With the advancement of guns, weapons and other technology, the Avatar wasn’t as feared a being. His power was able to be duplicated by non-benders using this advanced technology. An empire soon rose within the matter of one hundred years, ruling the entire Water with technology. Under the rule of this empire, the already powerful technology advanced in leaps and bounds. Benders, it seemed, were going extinct. The empire was hunting down and killing the once powerful benders of the elements. It’s now thousands of years after the stories of Aang and his friends. All their story is, is but a myth, a legend passed down through family fairy tales. Thousands of years after those events, and everything has gone to hell. Despite the empire whipping out the race of element benders, a few hundred have survived the attacks, taken to hiding or blending into society. That’s right, a few hundred. Once a large and proud race, benders have been diminished to a mere few hundred.
But before we can start that story, one must know of the history of the benders. Before the arrival of the Avatar to Water, before benders ruled the world, before anything, there were Energy Benders. Energy Bending is the bending of life energy. Before everything, people would bend the energy within themselves, and it was through this method of bending, that they unlocked and divided the four elements. Energy Bending can be used to transfer massive amounts of information and knowledge, but the most notable and lethal power Energy Bending possesses, is the ability to completely drain someone of their bending abilities. As powerful as this method of bending is, it is often lethal to the user, which is most likely the reason the ability died out.
That’s where our story kicks off. The first leader of this all powerful empire was once part of a great dynasty of warriors, protecting the Water alongside the benders. It was through jealousy and desperation that this man began to question the benders. Why could they bend? Why couldn’t he and his comrades bend? So many questions unanswered, waiting to be let out into the world. He spent the next few years of his life studying, and eventually stumbled upon the powerful Energy Bending. Through poking and prodding into the matter, this man quickly learned and mastered Energy Bending. How this happened is unknown, but it was through his newly found power that he began to wipe out the bending race, draining their powers and killing them off.
With the construction of his powerful empire, this man was able to transfer his abilities to the technology being made, giving anyone who held the weapon the ability to “suck the life” out of benders, rendering them useless. It seemed the entire race of benders had died out. But, like stated earlier, a few hundred went into hiding, and they hid well. The man in control of this empire eventually died, succumbing to old age, but he had a predecessor. His son, whom he raised to be somewhat of a carbon copy of his father, was taught all his father’s ideals and beliefs, and most importantly, the ability to Energy Bend.
Now one hundred years after the start of this powerful empire, benders are beginning to form powerful alliances with one another, in hopes of regaining their once peaceful Water.

Born into the rebel group, Trea grew up a firm believer of equality among humanity. It was then that Trea joined the Special Ops force within the rebel group. The Ops were the team of men sent out on missions, basically doing the needed dirty work of the rebel group.
6. Personality:
Trea grew up a very “keep to myself” individual. This stemmed from the death of his brother, whom he sculpted himself to be like. With his death, Trea seemed to lose himself as well.
