for desiring a radical change and then being incredibly apathetic towards working towards it

Uh, okay? I'm sure everybody wants jobs to be back to high levels and earn some money.. like a thousands dollars times 10! Right now, there aren't much jobs lately and Housing is low.. yep, it's bad all right. But if some certain President had kept his promises right, who knows, he would have my vote.. I hope he loses big time!

How do you expect ANYONE to fix the mess that is our economy in a span of only 4 years? Does that really seem plausible? Especially when everyone is against you because of your skin color, because of your birth place, or because of your political party?

It took Theodore Roosevelt 4 terms (despite only being alive for 12 of those 16 years) to get America back on track after The Great Depression, something that our own recession has been compared to, and it wasn't even his policies that did it. It was World War II.

And you wanted Obama to fix this in 4? doodily get the diddly outta here, especially if you're not even trying to make a change by going out and voting.

I voted about a week ago. Definitely recommend early voting.

I think everything I would have wanted to say has already been said. Romney's probably going to take Florida and North Carolina, Obama's probably going to win the electoral vote by a wide margin anyway, and the popular vote will be extremely close.

You are honestly the worst kind. You want something done but you don't want to vote? Get off your ass and stop riding on the sway of other people's decisions. You can't fix eight years of destruction in only four. Ever heard of that saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" but you can certainly destroy it in one. It will take years before our economy makes a full turnaround as long we don't screw it up by voting in the wrong people. I'd like to see you try and fix this mess in four years.

Wow, everybody, enough of this! I was just stating my opinion and leave as it is, but no, you had to go be all mean to me about this. I just want some jobs back, that's all.

Also, how did I lost my 119 posts?? Mine is 94 now.. how did that happen?

Haha it doesnt matter because congress is moreso in charge of taxes and domestic policy. so either candidate spewing about taxes is meh. Representatives in the house and senate are kind of more important. However we just like to over dramatize what's going on. But I digress and I'm kind of anticipating an attack from someone on here for my comments because that's the way our country handles political stances and parties. Yay election day!!!

You walk into a thread and say something and are surprised when people disagree with you? That's great.

You want jobs back but won't vote. That's like saying you want spaghetti but won't boil the noodles. You end up with really crunchy spaghetti. People are being "mean" to you because you apparently love the taste of it and we find that repulsive.

You wanting jobs back is fine. You not voting for a President for not being able to recover employment in four years is not. You're saying he should lose for something that is largely out of his hands? Do you even understand how capitalism works in tandem with the government? There's only so much Obama can do without being called a god-hating socialist (oh wait...).

To be honest, I'm kind of hoping you don't vote at all. If Romney rides in to the White House off the votes of people like you who don't have a firm understanding of politics, economics, and the history of America, then I'm going to be pretty sad.

There are plenty of valid reasons for not voting...if you genuinely feel that neither candidate represents your interests, it's perfectly reasonable not to vote. It's just not reasonable to be uninformed, or worse, apathetic.
