Some new scans came up featuring a special interview with Nomura. The images are nothing too special but the information is. Click the thumbnails below to enlarge!
-The Organization XIII battle exists because there were a lot of demand from the fans.
-Quote: "KHII:FM - There is a member, who didn't appear before, seems to be weak upon first impression and will die easily because his appearance was in the first stage."
-Since it would be difficult to make such a hard Organization fight in the middle of the story, all of the most difficult Organization fights will be in "re-battles" outside of the story.
-Quote: "Please, feel the true strength while playing."
-Interviewer: What's been said isn't fully clear...
-The re-battle against the Org. XIII is for the people who wanted that specific challenge. You can't just win with brute force. Equipment, abilities, actions: it all comes into play during the fights.
-Zexion is one of the members that is easy to knock down.
-You can't use recovery items in some fights. It is important to be prepared.
-Quote: "When fighting against the Org. XIII in Standard and Proud modes, you get the feeling that they are weak modes. I want you, by all means, to fight in Critical mode because it is the only mode that strengthens the experience further." (laughs)
-The Mushroom XIII were originally planned for KH2, but never made it. They decided to re add them into KH2: FM. Nomura feels that catching all XIII Organization Mushrooms gives the feeling of capturing Organization XIII, but they have no direct relation.
-The new Secret Movie becomes a continuation of the Secret Movie from the original KHII. However, the condition to see it are harder.
-Quote: "I want you to try to complete those conditions, it is worth it."
-Because Re:CoM became a fight in three-dimensional space, the action became more intense. My feelings are that I tried to make them almost complete.
-The action is high. He feels the game has been extended. The addition of new abilities and reaction commands helps. The timing was changed and it is now severely balanced.
-There are parts in the game, particularly during boss fights, where the player will NEED to edit his deck. Nomura says he doesn't want newbies to give up if they get stuck, and to keep trying by editing their deck.
-The number of cards and the stock techniques have increased as additional elements in Re:CoM.
-The games are extremely enjoyable. Nomura wants you to play the game "by all means".
-There are five mini-games for 100 Acre Wood.
-Possibly in Riku's chapter, there is another method of calling the King out besides using the MM miracle.
Thanks to 2ch Poster 651 for the scans, and Tomo from KH-2.net for the translations.
