Lol. I don't know the first part, but the part with Bieber is from CSI.

Black Swan needs to win SOMETHING.

Yea that was expected. TKS deserved it, but I'll be damned if I wasn't the only one who notice that montage contained some spoilers to the movies.

Also Franco was totally faded or on something the entire time.

Another movie that wasn't advertise won best picture. I swear that they need to advertise these things otherwise 75% of the US will miss seeing this.

I've seen plenty of advertisement for The King's Speech. Also the movie has made more 100 million, so that sorta contradicts what you've just said.

I not mad at it but when i first heard of the nominations, i honestly didn't know the kings speech was about and it was too late to even go see it because it was not shown in theaters that was near me. Also i didn't see any ads or commercials of it.
The same can be said with Black Swan, 127 hours, and Winter's Bone.

Agreed. I thought True Grit was better than The King's Speech and The Social Network. Both great movies, but True Grit was better to me.

I also thought Hailee Steinfeld should of picked up Best Supporting Actress too.

another year, another slew of frustrations and oscar politics

the king's speech winning best film pretty much proves the academy loves romanticized briton history and world war 2. have yet to see it, but i dig geoffrey rush when he's not a pirate and allowed to act.

I still think True Grit deserved something.

jesus tits it should have at least won some technical awards, at the very least sound editing

u mad bro?

the academy needs to get off nolan's dick

1969 version is better .

the 69 version is great and all, but after seeing the coens' adaptation i much prefer the down to earth "pre-hollywood" approach for a story about finding out what "true grit" really means

They don't ride it hard enough. Both The Dark Knight and Inception should've won Best Picture, and he should've won Best Director for both, as well as Best Writing -- Original Screenplay for Inception.

I mad.
