Aqua and Terra seem like a thing to me
even in the dark their bond was powerful and neither is princess of heart

Spoiler ShowOut of curiosity, how does everyone feel about the pairing between Ventus and Aqua? I've seen a LOT of people pushing that recently, and to be honest I never considered the idea before.
The reasons I've seen people bring bring up primarily stem from two things.
First people like to look at the pair as a thematic parrallel to Sora and Kairi, only with the gender roles swapped. With Aqua being the hero and protecter, and Ventus being the damsel and one in need of protecting. There's actually a scene in 0.2 (Aqua seeing Ventus in Snow White's coffin) where people believe it's implied that Ventus functioned as Aqua's "light in the darkness" in a similar way Kairi did for Sora in many similar instances (I know any comparisons to Sokai aren't exactly a good thing, but I guess with them being the only cannon ship now people think any similar character dynamics might develop in the same way). Her not mentioning Terra in the same light probably only strengthened that interpretation.
Then there's that "good morning" Aqua gave Ventus upon his awakening. Many, many people I've seen say that her tone comes off as very suggestive (to the point of it being hard for them to ignore), and even go as far as to say that had Sora not been there, they would have done... things. Like, idk if the voice direction was purposefully trying to imply that or not (I certainly didn't get that vibe), but if they were to become a cannon couple, I honestly don't think I'd mind all that much. Really I just find the idea kind of funny, but what would you guys think if they somehow became a cannon couple?

What in the ever loving fuck? Who interpreted it that way??? I'm honestly so disgusted that such a sweet and tender moment could have been interpreted that way.Spoiler ShowOut of curiosity, how does everyone feel about the pairing between Ventus and Aqua? Preach.I don't understand Aqua Ven shippers at all. Everything about them screams mother and child/big sis and little bro. While yes, Aqua somewhat parallels to Sora and Ven somewhat to Kairi, their character do not match one to one. Aqua is arguably a mixture of Riku, Sora, and maybe a sprinkle of Kairi (they have the least in common). Ven is 99% Sora and 1% Kairi.
Saying "Good morning" to Ven after a very long coma and petting his head like a mother would to her child is not 'suggestive'. I don't know how anyone jumps to that conclusion. It was a very sweet reunion after the devastation that left Ven sleeping there for a decade.
I don't ship Ven with Terra or Aqua. It's just weird.
The Wayfinders were made with the idea of how sharing a paopu fruit connects people, not romantically so... that's fine? lolI could care less as a whole about the Wayfinders, so shipping anybody from TAV never occurred to me.
As far as possible het couples go, I guess it's because I became slightly attached to them in KH2, before Xion was invented out of thin air because Nomura figured Roxas needed a girl for motivation in Daysever existed. I like Xion, but I see her as like a little sister to Roxas and Lea.I'd still prefer Roxas and Xion to Roxas and Nams. I just... don't get Roxas and Namine as a ship? They barely knew each other, whereas Roxas and Xion had an entire year to grow close, and their chemistry feels more natural.
For me, if it's not SoRiku, then I'd rather he be alone. *shrug*Always the vibe I've gotten from him tbh.
Sora and Riku are my only ship since I was little.
Spoiler ShowWe still wary about certain spoily details now or no? Just to be safe for wandering eyes...
I'm just really hoping that the Secret Ending isn't indicating that only Riku will be getting involved with whatever plot KHIV will have. I doubt that, of course, especially with Ven being such a key piece. But, I was sort of hoping Kairi would've showed up with Riku, wherever they are. I'm still hopeful as KHIV would be a good time to emphasize the friendship between Riku and Kairi.
Spoiler ShowSee, I'm the opposite. Whenever Kairi appears, it's a complete fail. I'm so tired of this demand for more with her; the war has already been lost with that character. I'm hoping the next game is another Riku-Sora dual scenario taking place wherever they are in the Secret Ending because Riku dived straight in after Sora 3 minutes after the KH3 ending.
