So the new region might be based off of Hawaii according to a theory on Serebii.
As you can see, the Firetrucks matches those seen in the trailer.

I've been online all day and I've found that the blue/white hotel we see in the trailer has inspiration from almost all major hotels around the world. Its really hard to claim anything right now seeing how little we have. I'm thinking this place will be based on Spain/Barcelona or an island.
Also this changes everything.

Well, guess I'm running a baton-pass team with that Machamp then. Wait, that's 1 of the mons that needs trading, right? Crap.
EDIT: probably wouldn't matter anyway. The Machamp thing is already going viral in the fan circles. GF will no doubt hear of it & probably change Machamp's ability before release.

Can you transfer the Pokemon from the old style Gameboy cartridges to the current games and the upcoming Sun and Moon? Have the starters for generation seven been exposed yet?

No, not from the cartridges. Only the downloadable versions that are now coming out on the e-shop.
And no, no pokemon have been revealed yet, aside from (probably) Magearna last week and an unclear image of a bird-like pokemon. Likely this gen's version of the early bird.

It actually IS POSSIBLE to get gen 1/2 pokemon up to gen 3 and beyond BUT it's a very complicated process that requires a lot of time and money.

Hey, does anyone remember that episode from the first season when Pikachu was trying on some weights that were used to train a trainer's Sandshew and Team Rocket mistakenly took the Sandshew when it was rolled up in a ball when they tried to kidnap Pikachu?
