Why are they doing that? They're already rereleasing the movie in 3D in theaters next year.
But if the broadway version really is good, the movie can have a little potential too.
The moving characters "pop out" from the background. Sort of like in those 3D master binocular-like toys. I don't know how to properly describe it, but I have seen it.I sort of heard about that too. How would a hand-drawn movie in 3D play out exactly?
