[spoiler="My... Well, what IS my power?]
The Road You Have Chosen: Light
Spoiler ShowName: Llyndellia Dwain (Llyn)
Age: 22
World of Origin: Born in Prydain, raised in Kuzcotopia
Weapon: “Dark Hope” – Keyblade
*A long Keyblade, Llyndellia’s weapon indicates the confusion of her nature. The handle is black adorned with dark purple filigree, the blade silver and shaped like a sword. White lace-patterned filigree weaves up and around the blade, forming the key-shaped edge and sparkling like the sun. The key chain is a heart torn in two, one side black and one white.
Special Abilities:
-Triple Firaga: release three balls of flame in rapid succession;
-Fire Surge: cloak herself in fire and fly at enemies;
-Demon Drive: create countless ghostly copies of her Keyblade and send them flying at enemies; takes a great deal of energy, thus she uses it infrequently.
The Road You Have Chosen: Dawn if she succeeds, twilight if she fails
Appearance:
Llyndellia’s appearance always set her apart, although that is one of the few things she likes about herself. She stands at around 5’5” and is thin in spite of the fact that she can eat more than anyone she knows. It suits her well, though, allowing her to have the speed and agility necessary during battle and causing her opponents to underestimate her as well. Her straight black hair falls above her shoulders, a couple of inches longer in the front than the back. The violet color of her eyes stands out in sharp contrast to her pale skin, often giving her a ghostly appearance.
When it comes to fashion, Llyndellia couldn’t really care less. Her goals come before pretty clothing, so she generally tends to wear comfortable, functional attire. Her black leggings, flats, and knee-length purple skirt make it easy for her to move quickly without getting in the way. A black short-sleeved shirt and grey jacket completes her ensemble, simple and good for any weather.
Personality:
Quiet, calculating—not superior, but separate. Llyndellia keeps herself detached to avoid forming any bonds or relationships with anyone. Her goal is foremost in her mind and she is determined to keep it that way. Some find her to be cold and aloof and she has a hard time opening up to people. She has lost so many family members and friends that she would rather keep to herself. Driven yet distantly kind, she will take down anyone who stands in her way. Only the few people she is close to are permitted to call her Llyn; needless to say, no one has called her by her nickname in many years.
Llyn's Favorite Color: Orange
Biography:
Llyndellia Dwain was born to a family of commoners in Prydain. Her father, a blacksmith, made weapons for the capital of Caer Dathyl while her mother was a seamstress in the castle. They led a relatively comfortable life, although Llyndellia does not remember a great deal about her home. When she was three years old, Cauldron-Born attacked Caer Dathyl, slaughtering many innocent people before they were forced to return to their master, her parents among them. An orphan with no siblings or other family, she and other children in the same predicament were allowed to live in the castle and, as they grew older, would become servants to the High King.
A year later, however, Llyndellia was picking flowers for a banquet in the castle when a strange woman approached her, telling her that she would give her a new home if she wanted it and teach her how to harness the power within her. Llyndellia had no idea what she meant, but when the woman reached out her empty hand, a strange sword appeared and she held it out for Llyndellia to hold. A warm sensation spread through her arm, and the woman said that she was destined for greatness. The woman, Master Niex she was called, spoke with the High King and Queen themselves, and they gave their permission for her and a young boy from another village to be taken far away from Prydain. The boy, Darien Fflemoch, was four years older than her and, seeing her distress, took her hand and assured her he would keep her safe. Comforted, Llyndellia followed Master Niex and Darien, leaving Prydain behind.
They trained for fourteen years in the Master’s world, a place called Kuzcotopia. In the time that they didn’t spend working, Llyn and Darien would visit Emperor Kuzco, a close friend of their Master, and his personal amusement park. As she grew older, Llyn became dedicated to learning all there was to learn about the Keyblade and protecting Kingdom Hearts, which the Master said was constantly under attack. The only thing she cared about more was her best friend and partner, Darien. The two became close friends quickly, thrown into an amazing situation together as they were, and before she knew it, his Mark of Mastery exam was right around the corner. The night before the exam, she decided to tell him. After he became a master, there was no knowing if he would leave... Now was the time, and she finally found the courage to say the words: that he was her light. The moment when smiled, when he told her that he reciprocated that affection was constantly on her mind ever since.
Darien became a master, and their own master was called away to fight in a nearby world. Dark Wielders had been searching the worlds for information and for followers, and they were wreaking havoc that the Master said must come to an end. She never returned, and Darien added the duty of completing Llyn’s education to their growing relationship. And then they came. The Dark Wielders came to Kuzcotopia looking for them, knowing that their master had been training pupils. The emperor hid them in the palace and when the wielders finally left, vowing that they would be back within the week, he told them they should leave for their own safety.
They departed immediately. Llyn and Darien ran from world to world, avoiding the Dark Wielders where they could but never really feeling that they belonged anywhere. They returned to Prydain, thinking that they could at least complete Llyn’s training there before deciding what to do next. Their home, however, had changed. The world had already been lost to the Dark Wielders, the forests scorched and villages reduced to rubble. The few people left who saw them attacked on sight, believing their Keyblades to be instruments of ruin rather than protection and wishing nothing more that to destroy them and their wielders. They tried to reason with them, but nothing could console or comfort these people; Darien was severely injured in the attempt, and they only just managed to escape into the nearby forest.
Their relief was short-lived as monsters of darkness—Heartless—appeared out of the shadows, drawn to the lights of their Keyblades and their hearts. Darien told her to run, but she refused to leave his side. Summoning a portal to the paths between worlds, she pulled him along, but they knew they would never make it like this. She felt him shoving her forward into the portal with the last of his strength, and the last thing she saw as the portal closed was the creatures overtaking him.
The next four years were a blur. Llyn was gone and Llyndellia took her place. She didn’t smile anymore, didn’t laugh. She was lost and had no idea how to find her way out of the darkness that had swallowed her now that her light had been spirited away. It wasn’t until she encountered a group of Dark Wielders in Disney Town that she knew what she must do, what path lay before her. They were once again seeking followers to aid in their quest for Kingdom Hearts. When she declined, they attacked, but the new flicker of life kept her from running. She fought back and viciously defeated all of them, but her mind was already flying ahead to her new goal.
Kingdom Hearts. The place where all the hearts of the worlds converge. An aggregate of hearts. Perhaps his was there... The light she had lost seemed in reach, and she began on her journey. It didn’t matter that the legends spoke of doom to those who opened that door. It didn’t matter what happened to the worlds if she succeeded. Beyond the door was her hope, her light, and she would reclaim it no matter what.
Battle Report: Forced to abandon her anonymity, Llyndellia aided in the attempt to preserve Radiant Garden, evacuating with the rest to the Land of Departure before eventually ending up in Kuzcotopia, the home she hadn't seen in years. After finding out the devastating truth about Darien, she resolved to race him to Kingdom Hearts. Should she win, she would force the creature possessing him to desist; should she lose, she would become its slave forever. Her resolve has wavered slightly, however, with the advent of her attachments to some new friends--or, rather, allies to use when necessary. She now prepares to travel to Traverse Town with Jayden, Neku, and Leon. If anyone has more information to aid her in her race to Kingdom Hearts, the light wielder faction located in Traverse Town would.
Spoiler ShowName: Darien Fflemoch
Age: 26
World of Origin: Born in Prydain, raised in Kuzcotopia
Weapon: "Forbidden Path" - Keyblade
*Having changed from its original form, Darien's Keyblade is now dark blue with a long reach. Black ivy creeps up from the hilt to the tip, tangling together at the side to make the traditional key-like shape. The key chain is the heart-shaped moon of Kingdom Hearts steeped in darkness.
Special Abilities:
-Dark Firaga Burst: summon a ball of dark flame that shoots off smaller bursts of fire before exploding;
-Sanctuary: creates a shield that restores energy and heals wounds for himself and those around him; takes a great deal of energy, thus he uses it infrequently;
-Dark Drive: can create ghostly images of himself to attack multiple enemies; takes a great deal of energy, thus he uses it infrequently.
The Road You Have Chosen: Darkness
Appearance:
Standing around 5'11", Darien's appearance is about as ordinary as anyone else's. His lean figure is muscular from the years of training he endured, giving him a more intimidating stature to match his attitude. Jet black hair contrasts with his pale skin, his light blue eyes a middle ground that keeps his features from seeming too jarringly opposed. Although he prefers to remain clean-shaven, the amount of traveling Darien does often means little time and some dark stubble.
In terms of clothing, Darien has more important things to worry about and chooses whatever is the most functional and fits him well. Most days find him in loose-fitting black pants and sneakers with a dark blue collared shirt, as well as an unadorned black leather jacket. Plain attire, yes, but the last thing he wants is to stand out.
Personality:
Before learning the true nature of things, Darien was always warm and caring. He eagerly shouldered great responsibility and heavy burdens from the time he was a child, and it was difficult for anyone who met him to dislike him.
That Darien has long since died. He has become cold and calculating, a man who cares for no one more than himself and his goals. He has a sense of humor, albeit a dark one, and makes sarcastic and biting comments often. Manipulative, devious, selfish--these are the traits he believes are necessary for a life of fulfillment. Darkness could free them, and so he allows it to course through his veins. Darien will lie, cheat, steal, and intimidate his way to what he wants--and so help anyone who stands in his way.
Darien's Favorite Color: Purple
Biography:
Darien was born on a small farm in Prydain, the only child of a mother who had never expected to be able to have children at all. When he was old enough, he began helping his father with what small chores he could, slowly becoming more capable as the years passed. They lived a simple life, thankfully ignored by the Cauldron-Born and other wicked creatures; Darien always remembered the love his parents showed him and how hard it had been to leave.
But he had left. When he was eight years old, a woman approached him one day when he was in the field by himself. Master Niex. She had shown him her Keyblade, let him touch the hilt--and then his parents were telling him that he would be leaving, going to train with the Master.
To find a better life.
It was difficult at first to handle leaving his mother and father behind, but the Master promised that she would bring him back to see them whenever he wanted. Besides, he had to be strong. He was the man now and, as the Master also took on a little girl as her apprentice as well, he had to take care of her. Llyn was younger than him and had already lost so much. Darien silently vowed to look out for her as a big brother would.
As they grew older, however, it wasn't her brother that Darien wanted to be. They spent years training together, visiting Emperor Kuzco's private amusement park together--always together, no matter what they did. Finally, the night before his Mark of Mastery exam, he found out that Llyn actually reciprocated his feelings and every concern for what would happen the following day was wiped from his mind. He had wondered if he would have to leave Llyn and the Master if he passed the exam, even considered going back to see his parents. Now none of that mattered. Darien would stay until her training was also complete. After that, wherever they went, they would go together.
Yet even the best of plans can be thwarted by the villain known as Time. In only a short amount of time, their master was taken from them and they had to abandon their home. Darien continued Llyn's education, but it was never the same. Title or not, he didn't feel like a master. Then even Llyn was gone as he willingly sacrificed himself to get her to safety. Knowing she could endure without him, he let himself sink into oblivion.
When he woke, it was in a land of darkness he'd never known of. It was barren, devoid of life and light; only Heartless existed here, and in far greater numbers than he'd ever seen. Darien fought his way through, desperately searching for a way back home, until he finally lost all sense of time. As his resolve faded, his mind changed. It was like his thoughts were no longer his own. He fought them at first, but soon... He could see the truth in them. The Master had taken him from his home and made him into something he wasn't. He had spent every moment of his life living for others. The darkness allowed him to finally care for his own welfare. If all the worlds were like this, there would be no heartaches, no repeats of his mistakes. To be selfish was to be true to yourself. The light blinded people to that fact. It needed to be quashed.
Darien allowed the Heartless to guide him back to the realm of light and is now the head of a faction of dark wielders out to control Kingdom Hearts, the only thing that can unleash an all-consuming darkness and banish the light forever.
Battle Report: Darien and his crew of dark wielders were responsible for the destruction of Radiant Garden, but that was not their only objective. Moving from there to the Land of Departure, they eventually found their way to New World with suspicious new allies in tow. Voideus's destruction of the world didn't particularly bother Darien, but his continued presence and role within their group is an issue of contention between himself and the alleged god.
Finding his way to Kuzcotopia, he met Llyndellia for the first time in years, but neither was the same as they had been. Darien in particular was finally discovered to be a fake--an impostor. The creature possessing him is still an unknown entity with mysterious origins and goals. When he failed to find the door to Kingdom Hearts and made a bargain with Llyndellia to race her to it, he decided it was time to look in unexpected places. Perhaps there was no door in the realm of light, but certainly there must be a back door somewhere. Now he travels the worlds, unsealing their keyholes in the hopes of revealing such a hidden entrance.
[spoiler="My... Well, what IS my power?]
Name: Jayden Merton
Age: 25
World of Origin: Born in Atlantica, raised in Traverse Town
Weapon: "Au Bord de la Mer"
*A Keyblade Jayden wields left-handed. It has a long reach, its deep blue handle the color of the ocean while the fin-shaped grip is pure white. The color seems to ebb and flow as the tide, fading and growing darker along the blade until, adorning the edge, a purple starfish creates the traditional key shape.
Special Abilities:
-Quake: bury Keyblade in the ground and cause tremors to throw enemies off balance;
-Tornado: create a tornado (or, in water, a maelstrom) to carry enemies away; takes a great deal of energy, thus he uses it infrequently;
-Revenge d'eau: creates a force field around the general area and fills it with water, rendering enemies at a disadvantage if they can't fight under water; takes a great deal of energy, thus he uses it infrequently.

The Road You Have Chosen: Light
Appearance:
Standing tall at six feet, Jayden seems skinny, but his appearance fools only a few. Lean and muscular, his body has been toned by nearly twenty years of training and honing his skills. He wears his platinum blonde hair short to keep it out of his face, and his blue eyes are like ice to most. His face is long and thin, making him look more like a bird of prey when he is angry or suspicious. While his fashion sense tends to be nonexistent, it doesn't bother him; they have a uniform where he's from. Loose-fitting black cargo trousers, a fitted purple tunic, black boots--every wielder in his company wears the same thing. A small white pin shaped like a key fits into the front notch of his belt, broadcasting his loyalties before he even says a word.
Personality:
Friendly wouldn't be the best word to describe Jayden. He is easy enough to get along with on a normal day, but he has few of those and even fewer real friendships. Instead he has comrades, partners in arms who lay their lives and hearts on the line just as he does. Jayden has great respect for his fellow light wielders, even if only a grudging respect in some cases, and considers a few of them to be friends after all that they have been through together. His standoffish nature isn't his fault, however. In the years that they trained together, none of the light wielders of Traverse Town were taught to value their peers for more than what they could provide in battle.
Cold and calculating when he is placed in charge, Jayden is a born strategist. Off the battlefield, he tends to be socially awkward and a bit unaware of how he comes across to people, especially when he is in the company of non-wielders. As a Keyblade Master, he knows his place among his peers; civilians are another matter entirely, an enigma in themselves. Dealing with them is something to be avoided, even though his ultimate goal is to keep them safe. Jayden subscribes to the belief that you can be a silent angel: a protector without a face or a voice.
Jayden's Favorite Color: Blue
Biography:
When Jayden tells people that he is a native of Atlantica, they assume that he came from the shore around the underwater city. In fact, he did come from the submerged world, having been born a mermaid--or, more accurately, a merman. The first six years of his life before he became a Keyblade wielder were spent riding the ocean currents with the other children and fish. When the Key bearers came, everything changed. Having gone to the shore despite numerous warnings to keep away from those who lived above them, Jayden came into contact with a Master who told him there was greatness in his future. He was given the gift of the Keyblade, but many of the other natives believed that it was truly a curse. Their world had been ravaged by dark wielders before, and the rumors of their activities in the world above spread far and wide.
Seeing the dangers present with a Keyblade wielder now living under the sea, the king banished Jayden in the kindest way he could think of: he made him human. He was taken to shore and left with the other Keyblade wielders; those who cared about him and weren't too afraid came to see him off, and even some whose curiosity got the better of them. The wielders promised him a new life, a better one that his parents would be proud of, but Jayden could only think about what could have been. If he had just followed instructions and not gone to the surface, he wouldn't be leaving his family and friends behind. Yet there was no going back and, unsteady on his new legs and feet, Jayden followed his new family to another world.
The next fifteen years flew by in a blur of training in Traverse Town. It was a world that never saw the light of day, but he was used to never seeing direct sunlight after living under the sea. It was nice to see stars for a change, though; their light had never penetrated the water. A strange place for wielders of light to gather, Jayden couldn't help wondering why they had chosen such a dark world for their base until he was older. Like the famed Land of Departure, it was a world between light and darkness. It sat on the brink of both and of nothing, the perfect place to train without fear of calling dark beings to the light. Jayden trained with the other students and became a Keyblade Master without becoming very popular with the others, not that it bothered him at all. Outshining them in natural talent and learned skills (not to mention fighting in wet weather or underwater), Jayden shot to the top of the group and now controls a company of his own.
Battle Report: The mission in New World failed, and Jayden is the only surviving member of his squadron. As far as he knows, he and Neku may be the only ones who survived the devastation at all. He and Neku found their way to Kuzcotopia, where they met Llyndellia and many other admittedly odd opponents. Feeling as though his battle would never end, Jayden secretly took some solace in the fact that the fights and his subsequent injuries would keep him from returning to Traverse Town and facing the consequences for his failures. In any case, he now prepares to return, this time accompanied by Llyndellia, Neku, and Leon.
